The employee was busy helping another customer. He swiftly completed that transaction and looked up the part I needed. He actually walked over to obtain the part. I noticed that a lot of these auto part stores just give you the part number and leave you to find the part yourself. Here, they will do everything for you, including (sometimes) installing the part while you watch. They also offer free tool rental to do car repairs. I appreciate the friendly, attentive service. The prices are reasonable too.

I have a summer toy that spends most of its life in the garage so it sits for about 7 month with out being driven/rarely started and anyone who does this has to deal with battery issues. Normally this is no big deal because I use a jump box but it died last year and the car was absolutely dead so I needed to get a new battery jump starter this year to get the car going. The price range is $50 to $600 for jump boxes after comparing all the parts stores but I didn't need anything fancy or expensive because it's going to be used a couple times a year in spring time only. Oriellys had a $59.99 unit which would work well for my needs and it was on the shelf and to my surprise I pushed the battery status button, it was 100% charged so I didn't have to wait to charge it up and started my toy right away and drove I off with it in minutes. I stood in line to pay for the thing and a guy says open over here and a second guy says open here with a discount, who do you think I went to. I thought they were just playing around with the customers but the guy actually gave me $6 off and how fuc#%ng cool is that for a first impression because I have never been to this store and I thought it looked dumpy and I didn't know what to expect from them. Way to go Oriellys for my first visit, what I thought was going to be a couple hour ordeal on my only day off was as simple as it could have been so I'm definitely going back when I need something car wise. Jordon was awesome as the face of the business on my visit.

The service was poor, I had to take it somewhere else to have the codes tested and read. After having my car tested I needed an alternator so I called this store to order one they said they had one but when I picked it up they didn't have it so I had to wait around for them to order one. When it finally came inI brought the alternator but the worker never told me it wasn't a new one it was a rebuilt alternator which i never knew they sold. I had the mechanic put this part in and it was a piece of crap! So I had to take it out of my car and return it and found out it wasn't new so I had to buy a new one and put that one in my car. This place will let you know what the difference is. These are NOT people that get a job there for a few months, or even a couple years. They have been there for a long time and they KNOW auto parts. Two things really set them aside. First the quality of the parts that they sell is superior to any of those chain auto stores. Second, they help you out, they listen. If you need a case of oil when sure go to one of the cheap ones. If you have a real problem, and you need real parts, then come here. Why are they so much better? The chain stores deal with consumers. They sell air fresheners and little plastic ones that you can put on your car by the bucket load. This place sells hard parts to real mechanics in shops. They are FORCED to know a lot more. If they didn't they wouldn't be in business. Next time try this place, if you don't like it I would really like to know why.
