Great service at Auto Zone by associate Jesus. I came in for battery testing, he tested the battery and found I had a very bad battery. Recommended the best one for my vehicle, then purchased for him to install. My existing battery was so corroded that it was difficult to remove the post. Jesus worked at it for, quite frankly, longer than he should have and found the best solution to get it removed. Replaced the post, didnt charge me for it, and installed new battery. Great service!! read more

This store commits fraud. i bought what i thought was a new battery. i returned it the next day and they told me it was a used battery from 2023. They tried to make me feel like i was the one trying to scam them for a lousy $70. One of the workers must have switched the new battery for one that was returned for recycling. There is no other explanation. DO NOT trust this location read more

Isaiah R is the goat bro you don't even know. Needed help prying a corroded plug out my car and bro knew exactly what to do. Mind you id been at it for an hour. Had the tools in his PERSONAL vehicle too. So grateful for bro I offered him lunch and he even declined. Bros the goat man. read more

Anthony Del Pino was helpful when purchasing windshield wipers. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive. He shared options and suggested good brands. He even helped me install them. read more

Went in for new wipers and it couldn't have been easier. The price was reasonable with free installation. Always excellent customer service when I come to Auto Zone, Brea. Thanks Jesus & team! Much appreciated. read more

Compared to the Autozone location in Diamond Bar, this one is simply much better. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Willing to answer questions and help find what you need. read more

The clerk just ignored me as if I was not in the store. When I told him that I would like to purchase two gallons of antifreeze he just told me that he has to pick some parts. There was no body else in the store. This business is a joke. I have been going to this place over the years. This is the worse customer service I have ever seen. If I were his boss I would fire this guy on the spot. This happened on 4/7/2026 at 8:45 PM. I am really sorry for the business that has hired this guy. read more

Christian and his manager Helped me replace my battery and were so patient. Kindest n hardest working dudes ive ever seen in an autozone.

Customer service was awesome ! They found the exact wiper blades I needed and installed them quickly. I had gone to another autozone where I was given incorrect wiper blades initially. But Brea autozone helped me with my return and install with ease. read more

Absolutely amazing customer service! The manager was extremely helpful. Thank you for all your time and assistance.

Every time I bring oil or filters they always claim they can never accept it since their "barrels are always full" which is bs, Why even advertise it. It's happened multiple times. Just sucks because it is the closest store me and I end up just wasting time coming here. read more

Vinny at AutoZone is super helpful and went out of his way to help us with a socket that we were absolutely stuck with. He took the time to figure out the problem and help us get the best solution. Thank you so much! I'll be back if I'm ever in Brea and needing anything for my car. read more

Autozone Brea came in clutch today with assisting with checking my battery, identifying the best priced battery with a 3 year warranty attached to it. Stephen K. helped me out this morning and was a life saver. Stephen was good to talk to and interesting to find out that he goes to UTI and wants to become a mechanic. Well he already has the good social skills and engagement with customers down. My KIA Optima battery was dead as can be and Stephen was able to identify the specific battery for me. He reviewed the warranty with me, took his time installing the battery while answering questions I had about the installment, and was able to get my car up and going again. I've been to numerous autozone locations and this has to be the best service I've ever gotten to be honest. Thanks again Stephen! I'll definitely be back for any more of my car needs! read more

Had a poor customer service experience with the manager. He wasn't wearing his name tag when I came to the counter, but I later figured out it was David (store manager). He passed me off to his coworker who was already helping another customer when the manager himself was just between tasks. He only persisted in passing me off after me asking why he wasn't helping me himself, me knowing it would only take 2 minutes to get me out the door I pressed a little more. After all the coworker who stopped helping another customer came and helped me out which was great. The store manager could easily make a better judgement call on quickly helping me out before passing me off. Seems like he needs more training experience since he is new to the location. read more

Ask for Jesus. He is the best and only one we go to. My mom needed a new battery. He worked on it in the hot sun. Her car runs perfectly now. read more

Not all autozones are the same. The one in Brea on Lambert is probably the best. The best customer service, fairly well organized and very well lit store front. That's important to me because I can't see very well in the dark sometimes . Most importantly one of the guys that works there his name is Vinnie-- he was very courteous, hospitable and went out of his way to make sure I found what I needed and took it to the nth degree to make sure that I was able to understand how to use my item and install it into my car. read more

I have a long drive to my trips starting tomorrow so decided to change my wipers. I purchased wipers right before their closing time. The guy was 100% confident about what he was doing, recommended me wipers for my car (he even came out to see my car to check if it was the right model) After the purchase, I tried to change my wipers in front of the store. It would not fit in. The guy gave me the wrong wipers. He gave me the wrong length as well. So I tried to ask and they were closed. Okay, I get it you are closed but two people saw me waiting outside and just ignored me. All they can say is we are closed sorry come back tomorrow or something. I tried to change wipers and waited for almost 30 mins standing there. I get it if you are closed but you recommend wrong items and you saw me standing there looking for you to say something but ignored me...? You are closed so you don't care? Your customer service is really disappointing. Also one of the lady pulls over her car and says come back tomorrow that they will get fired if the door is open. Is she the manager or the owner? Who is she to tell me what to do with the attitude? After talking to her, I never want to come back here. read more

I've had my original windshield wipers since I've bought the vehicle in December 2013. I went to Brea Autozone and Manager David Gonzalez really came through for me. I told him the make and model and year, it typed it into the computer and boom! He tells me sizes i needed. So, what do I know about windshield wipers? Not much besides paying for them, they were not cheap, however, I i know it'll be worthwhile when i need em to see. David was kind enough to replace mine for free. He was just happy i found what i needed and to help me with my dealio. Thanks David! read more

I live locally to this location and every time I go in the staff are always very friendly and helpful. In this review I wanted to highlight Trevor for his stellar customer service. I went in to replace a burnt out headlight and he helped me find the right one for my car, recommended an inexpensive grease coating to increase the life of the lightbulb (which I found to be a worthy add on) AND even installed the lightbulb for me right then and there when I asked if they installed the bulbs there as well. Trevor had difficulty in trying to reach the cavity in which the lightbulb sits but he did not give up. At one point he even tried to pull up a how-to video but was ultimately unsuccessful. Nevertheless he persevered and was able to install it for me after all! Thank you so much Trevor!! Day made read more

Jose was wonderful!! He went to my car to double check I was getting the right coolant and he helped me fill it correctly (ie did all the work). I initially went to the Autozone in Fullerton near my house off Yorba Linda Blvd and needed to purchase rotors and brake pads for my car. I was hoping I'd run into Jesse because he helped me before, but no luck. Long story short, I ended up leaving the Autozone in Fullerton due to poor customer service and lack of attention to detail, and drove the extra miles to the Autozone in Brea and to my pleasant surprise, Jesse was there! How ironic right? I got stellar service from Jesse and I was able to use my $7 off coupon. I will be a return customer to the Autozone in Brea for sure! Moral of story: Quality customer service never goes out of style! read more

I ordered a battery on autozone.com, didn't need it anymore so I tried to return it to my local store. On my first visit a couple of days ago I spent 30 mins with the staff and assistant manager to try and process the return. Apparently, even with the invoice that came with the battery as well as my e-mail confirmation from autozone with an invoice attached, they were not able to find the order and process the return. After 30 mins of trying, the assistant manager told me to reach out to the website again and get a "transaction number" thats what they need to process the return. I went back today with the e-mail from autozone that included the requested transaction number. Well, guess what, didn't work. Still could not process the refund. The manager was apparently out on a delivery so no one can help. But he was suppose to be back in 5 mins. At this point my 2 year old daughter who is pottying training said Daddy I need to peepee. So I ask if I could use their restroom. They said, the restroom is for employees only. So I asked nicely again, please, its for my 2 year old daughter, not for me. The response was, "Like I said, the restroom is for employees only". One of the staff said your best bet is to drive to CVS. Needless to say by the time I drove to CVS, my daughter had wet herself. In any case, I still can't return my battery because even with all the sales order number, the transaction number, the packing list, the invoice, the store still could not process a simple refund. Thanks for all the help guys! UPDATE 12/1/2020 Got a call from the store manager who apologized and offer to make things right for me. He was sincere and I believed him when he said he will make sure to talk to all the employees on how to properly handle this type of incident in the future. I told him that I also run a business and we also have restrictions for bathroom uses, however, depending on situation, say an elderly person, handicap person, or little kids, we make an exception. It's just common decency. He agrees and said they will have a discussion on it. I hope that they do. I have changed my rating because of the manager. read more
