Came here Saturday morning, was not busy at all. Needed a new car battery. Was ready to purchase when the employee informed me they did not change batteries at this store. He said "We don't change car batteries here." Which surprised me because I've had my battery changed at this location and other locations multiple times over the last 20 years. Eric went above and beyond for me!!!! I had a bad couple days with my car battery dying and I had to keep jump starting it. I can't afford a new battery and I saw in the window that Autozone charges your battery for free; so I called them and talked to a man named Eric who was a great help, he was very reassuring when we talked and so I came over. When I went over I talked to a different man who agreed they charged batteries but because of a bad experience before they don't help customers take off the battery, they did loan me a tool though I went outside and soon enough Eric comes out and helps take my battery out for me, he even said that he was gonna make it look brand new. Huge shoutout to Louie from Auto Zone @ Baldwin Park (Francisquito Ave) for helping us out earlier today with a dead battery for our Jeep Wrangler! Not helpful. Purchased a car battery from another location 1 year ago and the battery failed under the 3 year warranty. Went to this location to see if they would honor and help with my car battery issues. I turned off my car thinking they would help me, but they pretty much told me it's not their problem and I should go back to the store I purchased the battery from. They weren't even worried if my car wouldn't even start after they left me in their parking lot. After going back to the store I purchased from, they switched it out for me with no problem with actual generosity and customer service. read more

If I can give a negative star I would because my mom was trying to get a battery for her truck and when she wanted ask questions ,the worker Waldo was really rude and unprofessional to her and gave her the wrong battery for her truck and when she saw that they sold her the wrong battery , she went back to see if they can change it since she hasnt touched they deny her even while it was still new & some guy skinny with glasses kept saying they can't replace with the correct one because she already bought it ? Wow. I came in to get a battery for my car. I called a few places. Prices were similar. I earn points for shopping at auto zone so I figured I'd come here. I called first. They had the battery I needed. I installed it in the parking lot. It didn't fit snug. Kind of loose. So I asked the guys that work there. They said it should fit. All other specs matched up. But that didn't make me comfortable. I don't m ow much about cars. And I don't know of that would cause me trouble in the future. So I didn't keep it. Now, the reason I'm giving three stars is because there's a bunch of kids working there. I'd say they're in their late teens maybe early twenties. A lot of goofing around. One adult was working there. Idk how I feel about that. I mean, the computer tells them what you need based on your cars make, model and year. Every time I asked a question, they referred to the computer. Idk but I'd rather advice and suggestions from people with experience. Anyway. Not complaining. Just sharing my experience. read more

I would like to recognize Louie R. Manny R. AND MR PETER. I was stranded at work and couldn't go home. I couldn't even get towed because I was on the 4th floor of a parking complex and I have a lifted truck. I walked a mile to this store because it was near by, after a small misunderstanding these guys literally went out of their way to make things right. When I got back to my car I installed the battery and my truck started right up. I want to say I am grateful and happy to be writing this review safely from home because of them. I had a low battery from headlights staying on, so I brought it in to charge and return to pick it up later in the evening. When I did, I was shown the battery in a completely discharged state. Evidently, it wasn't charged yet, which was a little disappointing because I had to leave it overnight, but not so bad. I returned the next day in the afternoon, and was told by Juan that it was charged but had a dead cell. He found it was under warranty, so I got a replacement. Bottom line: Juan is attentive, conscientious and hard working. He didn't ignore or abandon me or any other customers, always helpful and clear about what he's doing. One of the best employees I've seen anywhere. Employees like him are the reason I prefer this location over some others in the first place, and the type I would want working for me. Tried to get a refund, Olivia said I wouldn't need the empty bottle of blue devil. I come on the bus to get a refund and the manager RAY was very rude and condescending, nasty tattoos all over him, gang related (I recall company policy is to cover them). Yelled at me that he wouldn't lose his job for me and nothing he could do. I talked to the DM he authorized a merchandise credit for the amount. I'm reselling it on ebay for cash. Went in for some stripped bolt sockets and bought a pack due to the sales associate that "helped" me saying if it doesn't fit I may bring it back for a refund. Tried it on my bolt, didn't fit, so I brought it back the same day aka today March 14 2016; for my refund. WORSE SERVICE EVER!!! On 5/26/18 @ 2pm I ordered a pair of break calipers. I was told the parts would arrive by 5:30pm. I arrived around 5:35pm and I was told that the parts would actually arrive by tomorrow because he had ordered from the wrong facility. At first when I had asked him earlier a question related to my calipers his response was " sorry I don't know anything about cars " WHAT HOW!! I don't expect them to be certified mechanics but at least a level of knowledge if you are going to work at an auto parts store . I asked if employees received training as to how they should use the system and the MANAGER responded with " we don't get trained here" you learn to use the system as you go. They didn't offer to bring the parts from the nearest store (4miles) they had no drivers available when they had 3 other workers just standing around bumping music . They made it clear they couldn't do anything for me. That I could get a refund! What happened to customer satisfaction?? Just wasted almost 4 hours of my time because of an incompetent worker. If they don't have the part you need they will try to get it for you the same day from another autozone and if worse comes to worse they can always order it. read more
