While CA tire stores don't sell the studded winter tires I have on my car (I'm from Colorado), he showed me how to order what I needed and helped me set up an installation appointment in the Firestone store nearer where I'm staying. In addition, he pumped up the spare, removed the old tire and put on the spare for me. And he didn't charge me anything. How generous and helpful! read more

Very professional and honest!! Went in for a brake job on my 2017 Ionic because of wear noise. I was quote a reasonable amount for the job. UPDATE: The noise persisted. I decided to take my vehicle to Valley Muffler&Radiator....turns out I had a leak on my muffler. I knew I was not making the noise up. The mechanic showed me where the leak was. I was happy that he took the time to actually check my vehicle and not dismiss me like Firestone did. Now that the issue is fixed, the chirping noise is gone. I am very pleased with the outcome. I made an appointment online to have my car aligned. Upon arriving I spoke with Sallie (I believe that's the rep that had helped me, it's the name on my invoice). I let them know I had installed a part on my vehicle and just needed the toe zeroed out. The rep and another lady (I believe she's the supervisor) both asked if my vehicle was lowered and that they can't adjust camber, caster. I completely understood, because those adjustments are not something all techs are accustomed to doing. I again mentioned I understood their concern, but I only needed the toe adjusted to 0 degrees (Which would only require an OEM component of the vehicle to be adjusted). I really appreciated the fact that both the supervisor and rep listened and understood my request. My car got on the lift and was worked on and completed within my appointment time frame. At the location now and just had to hurry and leave this review. Set an appointment for 5pm for a simple brake and tire inspection. Got here at 5:00pm and check in and been waiting for literally 1 hr. Note I watched another customer come after me and got taken care of right away. We went to dollar tree and grocery outlet and came back and still no work done. We watched 2 vehicles get serviced mind you I am an African American family with my wife and child. This is not how you treat customers and this location need to hire new workers or get shut down immediately. Estimated time for oil change, tire rotation, balance tires was 1 hour. Finally left after 3 1/2 hours. There was an issue regarding the sticky weights for the tire balance. They were not sticking. Firestone ordered more weights from supplier. The new weights did not stick. They sent a sample to supplier. (Thought that sounded weird). Anyways weights arrived and it worked. Hear a weird noise coming from the rear driver side wheel, took a look and theres a bolt stuck in the middle of the tread. Didnt seem like it was leaking, but I knew not to pull out the bolt. Not wanting to risk it goin in deeper, I took it to my nearest Tire place which is here. Walked in and was greeted, told the guy I had a bolt stuck in the tire. He asked me what size rims I had, I told him 20" - which by the way is the OEM sized, its just an aftermarket rim. I looked at the pricing on the wall, and it says $12.99 for tire repairs. This guy told me it will be $28 cuz its an aftermarket rim. Ummm you're goin to charge me more than double when its the same work????? Not wanting to drive around, risking being stranded I said yes. Then guy tells me that they will do a courtesy check on the fluids and check the other tires since it was my first visit there. So Im waiting around my car as the tech is working, guy didnt pop the hood, never even went to look at the other tires. But when they were done, the paper work said my fluids were ok, and the tire pressure on all 4 tires were put at 32psi. Ummm I was there watching the tech. So JUST IN CASE I blinked and missed the tech adjusting the air pressure on the other 3 tires, I checked my Tire Pressure monitor built into the car and the 1 tire that was patched was at 37psi and the other 3 were at 35psi. Tech never did $h*t on the other tires nor did he check the fluids. Work that was promised wasnt done. But I didnt really care, since I prefer my tires to be at 35psi and I know Metro Infiniti had checked my fluids. But charging me double whats posted on your sign is just shady to me. If I have any issues and I always buy my tires and got lifetime tire rotation, tire balancing I got Firestonecreditcard .ive been a customer for 8 years in this place usually Alex help me of all of issue on m cars.but yesterday there one lady a.k.a supervisor she was mean to me he asked me some unprofessional questions or stupid questions she thinks I was poor on English because I'm Asian. and me makes feels very uncomfortable that's why I told her dont ever asked me that kind of stupid questions be professional on your job.i put in my car @ 2:46 pm and I take out my car @ 5:09 pm just for a flat tire and 15 minutes work and paid$22 for careless work on my tire that they could damage my tires or my rim for driving a flat tire by mechanic. I brought my car with 35 psi air with the help of my roadside assistance aaa they put some air so I will avoid damaging my tire while bringing it to Firestone service . read more

Stay away from this place, they are completely dishonest and have bad practices. Back in March my brother's girlfriend took her car in to get 4 tires and an alignment, i usually do the maintenance on her car but since I do not own a tire machine or an alignment machine I told her to go elsewhere. She later told me if I could replace her rear brakes so i agreed and when I removed the pads they visually still looked like they still have a good amount of thickness left. I work at a Toyota/Lexus dealership so I know what to look for. I asked her why she wanted to replace her brakes and she said firestone told her she needed brakes because if she waited any longer it was dangerous and her rotors could wear out. Well that's true when the pad thickness is below 3mm. I measured the pads and they were still at 5mmand 4.5mm. I asked her if she was sure they recommended brakes and she sword me an email receipt where they did recommend rear brakes. We drove back to firestone with the brake pads to see why they were recommended. The service advisor got the vehicle infor and called his supervisor while he went to look for the actual inspectionsheet. She started to make up any excuse as to why they were recommended stating the pads were glazed, they weren't. I asked her how would the tech know they were glazed if he didn't remove the pads. She said they looked low in thickness, i handed her my brake gauge, which she didn't even know how to use. The manufacturer specs is a minimum of 1mm and the legal thickness you can recommend them at is 3mm. She then started to say how the technician just glanced at them but didn't measure them. At that point the advisor came back with an attitude saying it was a suggestion not a recommendation, last i checked those two words mean the same thing. In the inspection sheet the tech wrote 2mm and 3mm as the measurements, if he just glanced at them why would he make up a measurement if he didn't even measure it? They argued back and forth with me as to how it was a suggestion and not a recommendation and that it did not needed them. Why would you suggest brakes if you don't need them? That is bad practice and makes the industry look bad. For sure they will be reported to the BAR and to the BBB and I will contact corporate. They would not give me a copy of the inspectionsheet or their names but seeing some of the other reviews on here i now know their names. Stay away from this specific location. read more

I left Money in a zipped up bag in my door panel and it was the first thing i checked when i seen them move my car after it was done being serviced. well guess what no money was left. the manager denied it and even the service men who worked on my car denied it. WOW I DIDNT KNOW MONEY DISAPPEARS when it can get serviced. i intentionally left the money there because i figured i can trust it was going to be there when all done. plus it was hidden in the side door panel. so that tells me that they intentionally were looking because there is no reason for them to look there in the first place. OVER ALL the manager didn't have me sign a disclosures form regarding this specifically. so they will reimburse me but it's all horse s@#t. one of there guys took it but hey won't say. never going back to this place. read more
