Went in because i had a nail on my car tire and needed to patch it, it usually takes like 5-10 minutes for this. I was wondering what was taking so long, the guy didn't come until like 25 minutes later. About 30 minutes later my tire sensor came on so i checked the tire and it was low again, i went back to them and told them my sensor light came on, all they did was put air on the tire. To make the story short, they broke my tire sensor and tried to glue it back on but didn't work, and didn't say a word ofcourse. This place is shady,I recommend you go to Eriks tires which is the next block over. read more

OPEN ON SUNDAYS!!!!! I was so happy this place was open on Sunday: I got a flat tire because of a pothole. They offer new and used tires, and got it done in less than 15 min!!!! Very efficient. I usually get tires here but this time they installed Mgp caliper covers for my 2020 Dodge Durango. They were slightly toughing the inside of the wheel but they got them to fit anyway. I had my friend recommend this place for me and he know's a lot about cars so i trust his judgement. If i researched this spot without getting his recommendation I probably wouldn't have gone here because i'll be honest, i don't go to places if they have less than 3 reviews but honestly Im glad i listened to him. On a monday and most tire shops are fully booked. I've been having a problem with one of my tires due to air leaking and once I arrived at this location they helped me right away. This place is the worst! I do not recommend anyone to bring their car for alignment, I came over on October 21, 2023 that was a Saturday for alignment on my car it was this guy name Omar who took my car in, waited for almost an hour sitting outside then he called me and said it was done so I paid the guy $85 plus $5 tip. So I left and went about my day didn't really notice the difference of the ride cause I went straight home after and didn't go anywhere else until Sunday night when I got on the freeway, the car was still shaking and the steering wheel were shifting on the right side as if it has a mind of its own i didn't understand what was going on so the next morning I brought the car to a mechanic who happens to be my brother in law he test drove the car and told me that there was no alignment and one more thing, Omar gave a phony alignment results that was done back of 1/19/2019 around 12:00am when it should have been dated October 21, 2023 it was my brother in law who noticed it. I was furious after that I went to Plaza tires to talk to Omar and I demanded to give me the actual result of the alignment with the the correct date he said he can't blah blah blah instead gave my money back I told him that I will report him and that place to BBB and BAR ( Bureau of Automotive repair) this place scam people of their money pretending to do the repair when they actually don't do shit. read more

very rare bmw wheels to have tires mount I provided.Came out bent. Owner denied everything with no real solution on his end demanding I STILL pay. Owner said the machine doesn't bend wheels. Obviously because if the machine did bend they wouldn't balance. Took it to another shop and balance was off and could have caused wobble. Exchanged info and they never offered any real solution luckily I paid with a card and will be challenging them because it's 200$ to fix this bend. I Purchased a perfectly brand new set of tires and had Plaza Tire install it. I drove it for a few hours and realized that one of my tires had completely lost air. I towed my car directly back to Plaza Tire and they argued that their machines are fail proof because they have plastic heads. The tires were brand new and the beads were blatantly damaged on installation. I was asked to return to the shop that I purchased the tires from but I could not do anything because it was damaged because of Plaza Tires installation. I came back the following day for the third time to have my tire replaced with a new tire with equivalent or better quality but was only given an off-brand tire. It was installed and as I drove off on the way to work I heard a loud grinding noise. As I pulled to the curb, three of my lug nuts on the tire they just replaced were loose enough to be removed by my fingers. I am grateful that I did not drive on the freeway that day because this business endangered my life with their carelessness. Luckily I was near another automotive shop who kindly secured my tire. Upon tightening, the mechanic noticed one of my tires was flipped on its wrong side. "Inside" read on the outside. As infuriated as I was I had to return a last and final fourth time. As I came in another day after and watched them carefully re-mount and balance that tire. I believe the carelessness comes from some of their staff. They're unfriendly and suspicious. It's been years since I've bought new tires because Plaza Tires ALWAYS hooks it up with good condition used tires for $40ea that includes balancing and installation. I just got four 245 40r19 Michelin Tires used at same price even though they had about 70% thread. They usually have a group of employees posted out front on the ready. It wasn't that busy so they worked as a team on my vehicle. The removal, balancing and installation for all four tires was less than 30min. Good spacious location too; it's easy af to get in and out to main roads and neighborhood streets. read more

I always used to come here to get my tires. I called today to ask them to remove my locks from my tire and change them to a regular and they told me it would be $20. I go and tell the guy twice that I want the nuts that had the lock, he said okay. When he takes them off, he lost one and told me that they don't work anymore. I was confused, being the first time I see someone take them off with a hammer. When I go to pay the owner tried to change it up on me and tell me its 25 bucks. Forget this place! Been going here for over 20 years to get my tires mounted and balanced! Usually costs $10 - $15 to mount and balance tires but today I came in and tried to get some tires mounted and balanced and the guy who is not the owner tried to say $60/65, I declined and said I use to pay way cheaper the last time I was here. Then said he will get somebody from inside to talk to me, then another guy (again not the owner) comes out and then says $80!!!! Wtf!!!!!!! Never coming back here again! This is my third time here in about 5 years. The first time I needed new tires and these guys gave me some at a great price!! The second time I had to replace the two front tires because I never rotate them and of course they wore out waaaay before the back ones. (I drive a lot) Came because I need two used tires to get a different car to pass inspection for a salvage title. And you know what? These dudes, like always, have great prices, fast service, and are pretty cool dudes. 5 stars because their prices are great and I've saved so much money coming here AND they're fast (even when busy!). DO NOT GO HERE! I got ripped off because I was a woman. I came here with a flat tire and the dumbass "mechanic" put in tires that were too big for my car. He also tried to get me to change my suspension, Idiot! My traction light went off when I went on the freeway the next morning and I got scared. I had no idea what was wrong so I wasted my time going to a Toyota dealership to check it out and the mechanics there told me the idiot put in the wrong size! I asked for a basic oil change for my Toyota Yaris that uses regular (non-synthetic) oil. First thing I did was ask how much for an oil change, the guy, "Chuy", just confirmed with me that I wanted my oil change with non-synthetic oil, then took my car without giving me a price, which I thought was odd. I get oil changes every 3 months so I know how much they cost. So no more than 10 minutes later, he says he's done and that it's $45. Um what?! For a basic oil change at the ugliest, smelliest, dirtiest, smallest, shop where you have to sit outside in the hot sun on a dirty chair in a spot your phone won't even get signal? Yeah, I don't think so buddy. When I told him that he's ripping me off he got triggered and went off on me (a girl). He told me not to pay and to just leave. Like wth?! I know I should be happy about not paying but not like this. First off, he should have told me the price before hand, and secondly, he should learn how to deal with an unhappy customer and be profesional about it. If he would have simply reduced the price by even 5 buck , I would have been happier. Now, we both lost. But him more, since he's out on the money and business from me and anyone I know. Alright, you pull up and you get quick service since there are not many people. Anyways, no designated customer area, you kinda have to hang around. They used car jacks to bring the car up, nothing wrong with that but they didn't use 4 to bring the whole car up, sketched me out. And I'm okay with them using air impact wrenches to loosen and take the lug nuts off but I'm not okay with them using the air impact wrenches to tighten the lug nuts all the way. They should be starting the threads by hand to prevent cross-threading, by starting the lug nut with an air impact wrench right away, how would they know if it's cross-thread now? They should be using a torque wrench at the end and torquing it to manufacture specifications which they didn't do. Over torquing could strip the threads, snap the screws, or cause other major damage. It seemed as though different lug nuts were tightened slightly different amounts. Now that the lug nuts were tightened by an air impact wrench, I'll have a good time trying to get them off in case I ever need to by hand. They might've also lost two of our tire valve stem caps, sweet. read more

They fixed it by using a machine rotor grinder to grind it down the scratches and made the lip (big) wider, made it worst. That is not fixing it, that is giving an illusion that it is fixed, made it worst. I have been their customer for 10 years, this is how they resolves problems when they screwed up things. Very very disappointed. Looking for another tire shop in the future. To be exact I am very pissed. Personal point of view: the shop is cheap of not getting new inexpensive equipment. They also do this because they think customers don't notice after they installed the tires after months go by. Plus they have a customers increase, so losing customers aren't important. I hope they change for the better. They don't need to create problems for themselves if they can do their job right at the first place. Let them fix a flat but please don't let them fix anything else, they will fix it with solutions you don't want know. It is better you cry with tears, fix it yourself and not go back. Sketchy place. Avoid it if possible. After reading reviews I said oh well and decided to stop by to swap some tire. I had a perfectly good tire on a wheel and swap it to another and all of a sudden it's slashed ? When the tire was on the other wheel it was full of air at 35psi and all of a sudden it's slashed when they removed it ? They obviously don't know what they're doing here. Kids with attitude is all I see that work here. Definitely avoid . Sadly my tire shop that I've gone too for years is over an hour away now since I moved.
