The team at this AutoZone turned what could've been a horrible weekend into something I'll always be grateful for. They helped us troubleshoot the issue, Macario changed my spark plugs and ignition coils, everyone answered each question I had without ever making me feel dumb for not knowing much about cars, and even gave us advice and mechanic recommendations. They were patient, kind, and genuinely willing to help complete strangers who were stuck and overwhelmed. It's rare to come across people who care that much. Fred the manager was super horrible I bought a battery the day before but it wasn't a good fit for my car. The store was supposed to email me my receipt but I never received it When I went to exchange my battery for a different brand I was questioned for returning. He made it feel like I was trying to scam the store. Asked me for my ID, my receipt. I have multiple credit cards so I didn't know which one I used and he made a comment at me like ohhh you don't even know which card now?? All he had to do was scan the damn bar code and would have seen it was purchased from this store a day before. Instead he gave me the runaround. Super pissed off he made me feel so terrible. At the end he refunded me for the battery and I bought a different one but his attitude needs to change Never coming back to this location read more

I'm giving this Alhambra location a 5 star review. Two of the store technicians (Robert and Alexis) helped me tremendously with a Service Engine Soon light issue my car was experiencing. They ran a FREE diagnostic on my car and pin pointed the issue and knew what part I need to purchase. They even showed me how to replace the part. My car is now all fixed and I didn't have to take my car to a mechanic all thanks to them. read more

My daughter was terrified due to her car not starting. Coming from Westwood from work I told her to come over to my place and we'd go to Autozone on Commonwealth. She agreed. When we got there the wait wasn't to bad. We were help I explained the problem and the Young man said I can check your battery and charging system. Sold me a returned package of bulbs. Swapped out my dead bulbs with the new ones I purchased and only one was working. At this point I thought it was a relay or harness issue so I took my vehicle to Pep Boys for electronics diagnostic for them to tell me the "new" bulb was the issue. Paid Pep Boys $60 to tell me I had a bad bulb because AutoZone decided to resell someone's return that was obviously broken. Will never return as I have lost trust in them to sell me a working product. Always check your packaging before you leave the store. I went to check my battery. Unfortunately one of the manager (Asian guy) was there. I say hi, he never replied, then I asked if he can check my battery. He cut me right away saying "we don't check Prius batteries". No body was at the store. He really looks unhappy with his job. I'm so sorry for him. I was very overwhelmed and I really needed a new battery for my car. I called my roadside assistance but all they could do in the moment was jump my car to get me to autozone. I called ahead to make sure they could help me install it and that they had the battery I would need. Once I was there, Matthew helped me change my car battery in the rain. Excellent customer service from the staff there! Matt was very friendly, honest, and helpful providing good advice, properly replacing the car battery, cleaning the corroded old battery first and then put in the new one. They install the car battery at no extra charge. I called in earlier in the day if they were able to replace the battery, they said they could but to come in the later in the evening. When I went in the evening, they were able to help replace it right away. There was a $22 core charge but it was deducted if you give them the old car battery which is a win-win and convenient situation. Replacing the car battery also required tools, sprays, cloths, and supplies which would cost more if one did it themselves. So I really think replacing the car battery at Auto Zone was the best! Excellent customer service and reasonable price! No cost in labor which is also incredible! Big thanks to Matt and the staff at Autozone! read more

My mom and I have been loyal customers and have been coming here for over 10 years to shop for our car parts. They used to have a 5 year warranty for their car battery. Now it's 3 years as of two years ago. The duralast brand they carry are not as good as they used to be. The car batteries used to last at least 4-5 years, now they only last for about 1-2 years. Their customer service with their employees have gotten worse over the years. Since during and after the pandemic "lockdown", it's always a hit or miss with the employees. Sometimes you get a very helpful person and other times you get a person who has no idea what they're doing. Going back to the car battery, every time my warranty is up, I make sure I get their corrosion protection washers, which you have to pay extra for. Prior to the pandemic, I've always had nice people who helped me swap out my car battery without any issues even if there's a little corrosion around the washers or somewhere around the battery. During the pandemic they told me that they changed their policy and was unable to swap out the car battery for me. Which is fine because covid was new at the time. They were nice enough to show me how to swap out the battery with the tools they lended me. This happened once during the pandemic. Once the "lockdown" was lifted i don't know if it's the lack of training they have for their employees, but the service has gone downhill. They don't approach you if you need help. The employees are too busy chatting amongst themselves. When I repurchased a battery with the warranty, the person was nice and she helped me swap out my battery without any issues. It took a while for her to get to me because she was helping out other customers and there were three other guys in there just chatting and doing nothing who said they didn't know how to swap out a car battery. This car battery lasted for a year. When I went again today, a year later, there was a little corrosion on the handle bar that holds down the battery and the employee named Angel refused help me. It's not like the corrosion was around the washers, it was on the handle bar. I had to pay for a whole new battery then drive back to my mechanic to swap it out, and bring it back in order to get my full refund. What's the point of offering the service when these new employees are afraid of a little corrosion? Since I have another 2 years on my warranty, we'll see how long this battery will last and how the next employee is. When this warranty is up and my battery dies, I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

This small AutoZone is convenient, organized and easily accessible BUT if you come during the peak pick-up hours when the neighboring elementary school lets out, this parking lot is a mess. I saw a parent literally double-park blocking people in their parking spots to walk out and go pick up their kid. Aside from that, highly recommend this place when you are in need of an auto part and need it fast. Be aware that you are going to be paying a premium for convenience so prices aren't rock bottom. read more

Me and my sisters took a trip down south and we were having car problems. We didn't get the managers name, but he was very rude. When we had asked to borrow a wrench he tried showing my sister where she could purchase it. There is a young employee who is very kind instead up for her and told the manager why can't she borrow it for free? He then told my sister he didn't want her to borrow it because she's going to lose it. She told him that she's not gonna lose it and if she does, she will pay for it.
