    I am absolutely outraged by my recent experience! On 3/22/2025 at 5:43 PM, I dropped my vehicle off…read moreand asked the advisor to complete a Turo inspection. I have 9 vehicles that I regularly bring in for service, including a major job like replacing a transmission--this location has received a lot of business from me. However, when I returned to pick up my vehicle on 3/24/2025 at 8:10 AM, after hearing nothing from them--no calls, no texts, no updates--the vehicle was parked out front, clearly marked as "ready." I approached the service desk, where I was ignored for nearly 5 minutes before they told me, "We'll be right with you," while they continued having side conversations. The assistant manager then told me my vehicle wasn't ready because the paperwork wasn't filled out. I asked how it could take two days to complete a simple inspection, and he told me that he doesn't work on vehicles. As the service manager, however, he is responsible for all vehicles under his care. When I pressed him further, he became defensive, insulted me by calling me a "non-element," and claimed I was blaming him for something that wasn't his fault. His attitude was dismissive, and it was clear that I wasn't valued at Pep Boys. I asked for my keys and any paperwork stating the inspection was done. He instructed the advisor to charge me for an inspection that was never completed. I paid and left the store just to avoid any more verbal abuse from the assistant manager. I don't know who hired this person or put him in that position, but he is a poor representative of Pep Boys' values of Passion, Trust, and Safety. As a result, Pep Boys has lost a customer with a fleet of 9 cars, and I'll be reaching out to corporate to dispute the charge for an inspection I never received.
