    The day after placing my order, I received an email indicating that my order would be shipping, but…read moreno tracking number was given. After checking their website to see if I could find a tracking number for my order, I discovered that although the part I ordered was in stock, my order would not be shipping until Feb. 26th. Needless to say, I was definitely put off at the slow shipping of their orders, since I needed the replacement part quickly, and had I known at checkout that they couldn't ship it within 2-3 business days, I would have ordered from a different company. --------- Email from abtecparts on Feb 23rd indicating shipment: Thank you for your order. This order has now been forwarded to shipping for dispatch. As per your order confirmation we ship by mail. To find the status of your order at any time, go to the top of any Abtec Parts website page and click on the "Order Status" button. Most shipments arrive within 7 to 10 working days, but the Post Office asks for you to allow at least three weeks for delivery before contacting us. If not received after this period, please check the address on your order, check with your Post Office and then email us quoting your order number, last name or email address. --------- Today, Feb 29th, I emailed their customer service to see if they had a tracking number for my order or to cancel my order if it had not yet shipped, and here's their reply: ----- We're very sorry, but your order did not go out on Friday due to circumstances beyond our control. We have cancelled your order and voided the charge to your card. ----- As an online seller myself for several years, I am appalled that another business operates this way. I try to ship within 24 hours of an order being placed, and since I mostly ship through the USPS, I ship through the end of the day Saturday as well. If I am going on vacation or having a long weekend, I plan ahead of time by shipping some inventory to Amazon, so they can fulfill my orders. Then, I can close my shop and just respond to customer emails. A week of "circumstances beyond our control" is completely unacceptable, and abtecparts should strongly consider a different business model, since the current one isn't working.

Brad called me within a couple of hours of dropping off the vehicle to explain I needed a new O2 sensor and gave me the price for the part & labour separately so I could understand the value. I gave him the go ahead and it was all wrapped up the same day. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Brad went over his findings of what needs attention and how soon I need to deal with the items. What I really appreciated about Brad & Max Performance is they didn't try to up sell me on the phone to get more repairs done that day. He waited until we were face to face and could go over list.     Being a few hundred kilometres away, I needed someone to inspect a truck I was looking to purchase…read morethrough private sale. I called Max Performance and arrange the inspection through Brad. I liked that Brad took his time, listened and asked questions, he put effort into understanding what I wanted. That is where all good Custer service starts. The rest followed smoothly. The inspection was thorough, looked at what I wanted to know, cost a reasonable amount, and was done quickly and efficiently . Brad phoned me report, emailed me a report and provided 15 photos of the vehicle that I had not even requested. From my experience this is a place that takes pride in doing a good job.
