    SEVEN DAZZLES IN DISTRESS! Took my parents car on a girls…read moretrip and the car dash board kept yelling at us. Pulled over at Pro oil change and panicking asked for help. The kind gentleman took a look under the hood and under the car. Added oil, topped off the windshield washer fluid and checked out coolant. The staff was just so helpful and friendly. I was asked if I had any coupons and told them I would be using my Groupon today. Within minutes the fellow came over to me with the dipstick in his hand and said my car was out of oil. (I know for a fact that it was not) He then said they were going to do a engine flush to fix the "Gunk and Sludge" that was making the engine use oil. I refused and he tried to get me to buy some Lucas treatment. I refused it and said I would check with my mechanic friend. He replied with...Whats he gonna do? Anyway he asks me if I want anything else checked,I said I just want the oil change. I am treated very unfriendly and he comes and shows me the dipstick and says full now but still dirty!! Upon checkout he was very unfriendly not offering me any coupon for the next service like he did to the customer ahead of me. I looked at my invoice and it stated that the washer fluid was topped up,but it was still dry. I called them to complain and they said they would get back to me ...still havent heard a word.. STAY AWAY!!! unless you want to pay through the nose

    AVOID!!!BEWARE CON MEN!!! Drew and Dave are very good at telling you what you want to hear - real…read morecon men...and once they get your trust, then they bring down the hammer. That came in the form of extremely inflated parts costs put into the quote: Upper Ball Joints 2@ $196.08 = 392.16 and Lower Ball Joints 2@ $207.63= 415.26. Total parts bill for these was $807.42 plus tax. So being in a hurry to get the vehicle back to the coast, I trusted them that those were fair prices. They did the work ( and more that was on the list but not all that was) and I paid them and left. Subsequently I had some questions about the work as they did not complete all requested work ( e.g., leaving me all the parts they claimed to have replaced, doing an oil change, etc.) . And in their pre-purchase inspection, failing to disclose to me obvious deficiencies ( auto transmission rigged so that you couldn't downshift manually for example - because of bolt inserted in shift lever). Suspicions growing, I called Turner Volkswagen in Kelowna to price ball joints. They quoted $110.50 each for VW OE uppers and $46 each for after market lowers. Total for 2 of each: $313. So the difference is $500. I was flabbergasted. I called other parts suppliers and the prices were similar or less than Turner Volkswagen. I called Drew and asked him what was up. He said essentially, 'So sad, too bad, you signed off on the quote with those prices so we gotcha!'. If you insist dealing with them, realize that everything they say is calculated to gain your trust, then when they have it, they drop the hammer and rip you off. Who wants to have to check all parts prices before signing off on the quote? Better to just avoid them and go to another shop.

    I had a terrible experience with Kelowna Hyundai from the general sales manager, sales rep, service…read moredepartment to the receptionist in May 2026. I had a 2017 Hyundai Tuscon which I will warn you to NOT buy as it is a total dud of a vehicle. It has CVT for transmission which is awful. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle with CVT again, They shouldn't even exist. I had bought it used for approximately $28,500.00 in the year of 2022 at 70,000km and only put on 31,000 km on it. Once it was 101,000km I had all these issues come up especially with the transmission (CVT) and engine. I had done one repair in the fall of 2025 then went back to Hyundai Kelowna Service department in the Winter of 2025 and got a flush and replaced spark plugs. All the repairs I had done up to that point had cost me already about $6,500.00. Then in May 2026 my Tuscon started jolting and shaking. Then in May 2026 my Tuscon started jolting and shaking. I took it to Hyundai Service department to have it assessed. I was given a few days later an estimate of $12,000.00. I decided it didn't make sense to put $12,000.00 in it with the amount of money I had already spent. I spoke to the General Sales Manager about whether the would assess my vehicle and buy it from me. I told him I didn't have the money to do a trade in. He still talked about a trade in anyways. He said he would have my vehicle assessed. I waited and then after a few days phoned Hyundai to follow up on whether they would buy my vehicle. When i called in i couldn't remember the sales managers name and they didnt have any notes or anything on me in their system so I was instead then told the receptionist would transfer me to a Sale rep. She put me on hold. 10 second later she picked up and said sorry where did you need to go? I said a sales rep. She then transferred me to the service department. It was apathetic and she was inattentive. It was a mess, i then asked to be transferred to a manager. I was transferred to a sales rep. I had to repeat my whole situation then he said he would get my vehicle assessed. So now I had to wait twice the amount of time. In the meantime the sales manager never phoned me back so clearly he forgot about me. After a few days went buy then I followed up again with the Sales Rep this time and had written down his name so i knew who to ask for. He told me he still hadn't gotten the assessment yet. I waited then a few more days then followed up. He told me that they wouldn't outright buy it but would do a trade in. I had told him prior to as well as the sales manager I wasn't able to do a trade in. I then repeated it again to him. I said I would need a few days to decide what to do with my vehicle. Each day after that the Sales Rep phoned me following up with asking me what I was going to do with my vehicle. I thought this was satirical and ironic considering I gave them a few days each time to figure out my assessment when they didn't even do it the first 2 times i phoned, but yet, when I am the client who's been deceived trying to figure out my next step I am being phoned every day. After a few days I decided to get rid of it have my vehicle towed with Pick and Pull. I phoned the Sales Rep back and told him I would be have Pick and Pull tow it on the Monday at 10:00AM and that I would arrive at about 9:45AM to pay the bill for assessing the Tuscon. When I showed up on the Monday at 9:45AM I walked in told them my name and then before I could say anything else the Service Department asked where my vehicle was and that I could bring it in. I said "oh no, the vehicle is already here, I spoke to the Sales Rep, *****(sales rep name) and told him I would be here at 9:45AM to pay the assessment bill for my tuscon ". The Service Department then said "It would have been nice to have a heads up" I said well I would have thought the Sales Rep would have told you I was going to show up especially when I gave all the details and you guys work in the same building (sales rep could have emailed/ phoned/ walked over to the service department). He said no he wasn't told anything. I paid my bill then I followed him to the lot and he shrugged his shoulders saying well i don't where it is, do you see your vehicle? (bad attitude/ no care) we ended up turning the alarm on to find my vehicle. My vehicle was tightly parked between 2 other vehicles. He offered no help in emptying my vehicle not even a bag/ or a glass of water (30 degrees that day). I won't name the Sales Rep because I don't want make this personal to them. It's Hyundai Kelowna as a whole that needs to improve. NEVER BUY OR DEAL WITH HYUNDAI KELOWNA.

The staff is always friendly, prices are completely reasonable, and service was good. A friend that has known them for over 30 years recommended them and I can't say enough good things about my recent experience. They are honest and very knowledgeable. They took the time to thoroughly explain what was wrong and what needed to be done. My car is a 2005 Subaru Outback and feels like a new car again. It's a great feeling having peace of mind that everything was done to perfection and the cost was still reasonable, considering they even went above and beyond. I highly recommend Tops if you want the best qualified mechanics. One thing for sure - I will never go back to Canadian Tire again! I've tried many, but Tops is the best.
