This is the farther of the autopia locations but I really enjoy going here. They do an awesome job. The prices are reasonable (I find most car washes are fairly pricey now), but I usually get the buy 5 deal and come here regularly. My kids are young and make quite the mess so the car washes is much needed. I usually get the super and it hits all our needs (knowing it's only a matter a time before we need to go back ) They're effective and efficient. I wanted to have this be our go to but now I'm highly questioning it. I've come here a few times and for the most part it was good. I think I've had one friendly cashier, the others were just doing their job - no smile or anything. What really bugged me was the cones they had out. Totally get it from a morning thing but if you want to get gas or come from cedar and Newark Blvd you have to make an illegal turn in on the street or very inconveniently go out and make 2 u turns to get back in the right direction. Great car wash, very affordable prices very nice people. It can be chaotic for the first time. First when you get to the parking lot please know it is a drive thru so drive all the way to the end take a left they will take your car from there. Then go pay at the register ( you will see everyone waiting there.) My advice is to pay attention to the left side of the building when your car is ready they will call people or else park the car somewhere else. Please bring tips at least a few bucks - my people are working hard they deserve a good tip. To say I am shocked at reading some of the negative reviews would be a huge understatement. I have been driving for many, many years, currently driving for Lyft for almost 7 years. I am a monthly-pay customer for over 2 years now. With no hesitation I can tell you the facility at Newark Blvd., Newark is by far the very best carwash I have ever been to. I have never had to request any additional cleaning because they have missed something. The staff is always friendly, polite, and accommodating. Since I have issues walking, they now drive my car around to the parking area in front of the retail store to make it easier for me to get in my car. When I arrive at the check-in the person there opens my rear door and gets my walker out of the back seating area and opens it up for me. And, always with a smile and a "How are you today?" 5 stars is not enough!! 10-15 is what they are worth! read more

I bought a membership a few weeks back. They seem to do a decent job washing the car the last few times I came. But today I took the car in and they put some deep scratches by what I can only assume are someone's keys. Take a look for yourself, they're fresh and unfrayed, but Lupe took a look at it said it's couldn't have been their driver. I never said it was their driver.... But for someone that has never put anything in their back pocket my whole life, it's obvious what happened. They pretty much shrugged it off and didn't have anyone on site to deal with it. Lupe gave me Yoan's desk number, but when I called it the woman that picked up said he doesn't work out of that location. This is a sad day that I have to give this negative comment to this company. I have been a loyal regular monthly paying member for years . I even pay for extra wax jobs. Any way my car was in an accident and I just had it repaired and the body shop said just don't run it thru a car wash for 30 days. I am 2 weeks in but because we have had all this rain and my car is black I went to my place that I have always gone to autotopia and asked the mgr who has known me as a customer for years if he could just have his guys hand wash my car instead of running it thru the machine because of my new paint. This will be the 3rd review in 11 days where a visit resulted in physical damage. Perhaps their tunnel system needs an adjustment or recalibration because it's clearly being too rough. My car isn't an oversized truck, just a medium sized sedan. Especially since it always seems that the second I have my car washed a bird decides to leaves treasure on it. Great service! I have been servicing my vehicles at this place for the past years, I find it to be a great place compared to others in the area. I own a truck (cost extra) and I use the monthly membership services instead of paying each visit. The people here is very friendly and they work hard. Sometimes when they are really busy The cleaning gets missed out in some areas, but I understand that I don't pay for detail cleaning. I found this car wash through Yelp. Thinking this is a great establishment. 3 star so it was kind of fair to think this is a good place to wash my car. I paid $19.99 for a regular car wash. I have only come here for my car wash. Never again. Left deep swirl marks that were 100% caused today. It left swirls on the top rear driver side panel. When I confronted the manager he claimed there's no way it could be them. From the reviews it seems that's their usual response. There has never been another car wash performed on my car other than from these guys. I told him I just had my ceramic coating done so there were no marks at all. The manager Marco just played dumb like there's no way. Told me to file a claim. It's not possible for there to be any swirl marks on my car. I think it's time to switch car washes, sometimes not looking older can really effect how you're treated. I used to go to the Fremont on which is one block from my house, now I'm coming to this one. Welp I would highly recommend to go to another car wash. I have them 3 stars still because I've been coming here for much over 10 years. Unfortunately the film they leave from the oils on their rags creates a thickness on the inside of your windows. My vehicle was not cleaned very good at all and ended up with a long scratch on the passenger side, which I noticed when I got home. What a surprise and a hidden car wash location on the side of the 76 gas station that I must have missed driving on Newark Blvd. Not sure I should review as this place might get crowded after but as a true Yelper, I will share... ;-) Ratings would be more a 3.5 stars for this place though. This is a much smaller car wash place than the Ardenwood 76 so space is tight. Make sure you enter on the Cesar Blvd street to go into the gas station or car wash. You drop your car by attendant. You choose which details you want then you pay inside. Prices are decent. They start at $21.95 then $24.95 with 3 wax layer but I forgot the third price. They do offer package deals if you pay up front but didn't get it as I was not sure how many times I would come here. We brought my daughter's filthy pathfinder who has not cleaned her car for a year and they did decent job for the price. I went to Autopia and got the quote from them which was 200$ for car seat shampoo and a full on outer cleaning service! They charged me 144$ and my car looks brand new! One would think oh they charge you so much money, your car better be looking brand new! Duh! But initially they gave me a quote of 200$ which also includes dashboard cleaning and thorough carpet vacuuming! But I told them that I don't want to get dashboard cleaning & carpet vacuuming! I come her way few times a year to get my car detailed and pay the additional $80? Ish to get my leather seats shampooed and conditioned. I am currently 8 months pregnant and from the moment I pulled up there was a drug addict that was clearly on drugs following my car, and then went over to the waiting area and was harassing customers. When I originally paid I informed the lady at the counter and she said oh it's okay we've asked her to leave. She approached me numerous times and made me uncomfortable and even threatened some of the other customers. Numerous employees saw every altercation although no one said a word.
