It would have been nice to refinance my car and save 2k over 60 months. Unfortunately, Autopay has no clue as to customer services. I went through all their process and got to the point to upload my records, DL, Registration, Ins, etc.. Not a single file would upload. I then email them, and they told me to try it a different way. Which I did, again the same results. I once again replied to them via email, asking if I could just email them the Documents, but this went into the black hole. No Response. I sent one more email, again asking for help, and again no response. I think what they do is throw out the hook, snag the customer, get a cursory info on credit, Finance %, and decide if they can make enough money, if not, they shut you down. My Opinion. read more

Although Anthony was nice the the lack of communication and explanation is why I decided not to continue my loan with this company. It seems that these " loan specialist" are very overwhelmed. It takes several days to hear anything back and when you do it's more of the lack of explanation. They tack on unnecessary fees and insurances that you really don't need and it will hike your loan amount up. On top of all of that when you finally do get ahold of someone they seem very rushed like they have other important things to do than talk to you. I do not recommend. read more

Kept telling me send paystubs after paystubs because it's over 30 days old when the paystubs I sent were the ones I just got. They ask for bank info to take the funds. They say they cannot process because my paystubs don't have year to date income when it does. Too much excuses and almost 4 weeks of waiting. So I canceled the whole process. read more

I received a prequalified letter saying they estimated they could cut my current loan in half, payment and interest rate. I figured they did say estimate but if they could come close to that I was interested. Well they did a hard credit check, with my approval (I'm still being positive at this point) and the salesman who got the file to work first told me they'd need $7k down. Now this is for a vehicle with 2 years left to pay on my current loan, I owe $16K and valued at $38,000. My credit is currently rated good by Experian as I just checked it myself. When I balked at the down payment the salesperson said let me try some other lenders. He called back saying he got rid of the down payment but my rate would be higher than I currently have. I said No thank you and ended the conversation! So I now have a credit pull on my credit for nothing! I should have checked here before!! read more

Saw there ad on Creditkarma, which now I have to say I'm disappointed with them for showing Autopay. Creditkarma generally in my experience good recommendations. But this Autopay, like many other comments, just say away from them. Short history. I applied as it says it will do a soft inquiry to see if pre-approved. Well they did email me back later in the day to tell me I am not able to refinance a better rate, and now there is a hard inquiry on my credit score which already lowered it by a couple points. Not the biggest deal, but I have been very careful not to have any hard inquiries for the past 10 months. I didn't authorize a hard inquiry. Such BS. Stay away from Autopay. read more

I kept getting notifications from Credit Karma that I could refinance and reduce my rate (I've had a 45 point jump in credit since first getting my car). I decided to give them a shot. I completed the online preapproval thing and heard from a loan specialist (Mike Nott) the next day. He called me 2 times, left a couple voicemails, and texted me within an hour or 2 (around noon). I was at work and don't use my phone for things outside school when I'm there. I called him back that evening and he told me he could reduce my interest rate to 6% (I'm currently paying 15%) which was a HUGE drop! I told him that I would like to see the loan offer in writing so that I could go over it before signing anything. The next day, I got an email with the numbers. I owe roughly 15,700 on my current loan. The loan i was "requesting" for refinancing was $18,927! I asked him WHY it was $4,200 more and he said because of an extended warranty that was added. The warranty was in the loan breakdown and listed as $1,400. I pointed that out and haven't heard a single word since. (This was a few days ago). It seems super scammy to me that they did all of this and can't tell me WHY there was such a high charge. If I did this refinancing, i would be $4,000 more in debt than I am now AND would end up paying roughly the same thing. I will just stick to my current high interest rate and remain loyal to the name I trust from my current financing company. BUYERS BEWARE! read more

Was pre-qualified for a reduction in my monthly car payment from 212 to 179 a month. Went through the application process and the company told me I had been approved and had a representative reach out. When I spoke on the phone with the rep I was informed that in fact the loan I had actually been approved for had an interest rate 2% higher than my current loan and the monthly payment would actually be 20$ more per month. The customer service experience was poor, the representative Sofia was cold and seemed unconcerned. The transparency at this company is atrocious and I feel like I had nothing but my time wasted and my credit harmed with this company. read more

They screwed me big time!! I can't believe Credit Karma actually referred me to these crooks. I refinanced with them for lower monthly payments and lower interest... well I got both at a huge cost. I only owed $8,200 with Wells Fargo then I find out I owed them $10,600!! They tacked on a extended warranty WHICH HE LIED and told me it came along with the LOAN. Then there's hidden $400 fees and gap insurance fees which all in all added over $2000 to my payoff amount. I am very pissed off. A gentleman contacted me from a blacked number and was initially unclear he was from Autopay and told me he had no offers for me. Then when I called the number from the email, I spoke with a gentleman named Eric after being on hold for like 20 mins at which time he told me he had no clue what I was talking about. I told him I wanted all my information removed from their system so they would stop wasting my time and Eric just kept replying "ok" and being a smartass. I received a piece of mail saying that I was preapproved for $180 a month in savings. I of course didn't think I was going to save 180 but I was told upon a phone call that I would save at least 80 probably 100. Once completing all the things they said to do, even though I was "preapproved" my credit is ran multiple times and I was not approved so I wasted all the time and ran my credit multiple times for absolutely nothing. 0 out of 10. Don't deal with this dodgy company. Got referred through credit karma but they were not professional at all. Online portal was broken where I submitted my info several times. When they didn't receive it I got a barrage of pushy text messages asking to send sensitive info via SMS (not secure) and finally an IT person emailed to help after I pushed back twice. This is in between daily calls asking for my information to hit their end of month quota Did the upload and didn't hear back for over a week, after which they were again rude via text message. worked with Terrance Simmons worst experience ever did everything requested of me timely, sent car title and notarized docs in, to be called and told good news I have a better interest rate, 1% HIGHER than I had been quoted after I initially put my application in. What a joke, when I said no I wanted my initial quote he said my SSN was wrong on the initial application and we had to re-do the loan paperwork with another company. After no contact with Terrance for over a week and my texting him telling him I wanted my truck title back if he was not going to be able to get my original interest rate as quoted he finally texted me saying he had advised me he would be out of the office for a week, (he had not) and he was returning my truck title. so I went thru all if this hassle a soft credit pull on my credit score and I am back at the beginning. Last summer, we were contacted by an Austin at autopsy regarding my husband still being on his ex's car title and Austin requiring his signatures and such to remove him. Anytime we tried to ask questions to explain the process, Austin would get frustrated, angry, and wouldn't explain. my husband also didn't recall being on his ex's car title at all. when we called the company, 3 separate people told us 3 different answers, but all essentially saying my husband did not need to do anything since he's not on the title. I don't know what this was, but Austin increasingly became frustrated and angry the more we tried to clarify. None of the paperwork we were provided was filled out in its entirety, we were not given permission to inspect or view the vehicle before signing, and the VIN number was incorrect. nothing was corrected even after these issues were pointed out. I don't know what this whole mess was supposed to accomplish, but without a professional representative, my husband refused to sign his name on any of the documentation pending another representative explaining properly, and nobody ever reached back out. I did a refinance in early September through AutoPay. The initial process was fine. I got a better rate through Auto Pay with Pen Fed Credit Union. More than a month Later, I was looking to trade in my car. I start the process but when the company buying my trade reaches out to PenFed, they don't have my Title so I can't trade it in yet. I go to my original finance company and was told they sent my title to Auto Pay on 9/29/2021, which is a month ago. I reach out to Auto Pay, they say they don't have my title. So where is the title? I don't understand why it would need to go to Auto Pay if they are merely a middle man. What if the title is lost? What's the process? I need the company I'm paying my car note to, to have my documents. It's incredibly troubling that it may take months for Pen Fed to get my title when I'm paying them not Auto Pay every month. I wish I would've stayed with my previous finance company. Also, don't think that Auto Pay is finding you a better ratE out of the kindness of their heart. They tack on some points that basically puts you back to where you started with your previous loan. You may regret this if you halfway through your loan already. read more

Autopay is advertising on Indeed. com for a Loan Specialist (Remote) to work outside of Colorado. The job says if you live in the Denver area, you can be trained in Denver but that you must work outside of Colorado. This is in response to the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Autopay does not want to be transparent by posting a salary range for this job. By avoiding transparency, Autopay can continue to underpay women. I wonder what else this company is hiding. read more

This company is a joke. i received a flyer in the mail stating they could get my payment knocked down almost $140. So i filled out the application, submitted the documents, and was told i would have an answer in 2 hours. The next day i receive a text from my loan officer stating I'm approved and to call him. Tried 5 times and went to voicemail. 3 hours later he calls me and instead of telling me my new rate he asks me questions i already answered the day before. After the 10 minute call he tells me he will call me back in an hour with the rate. I thought i was already approved? So 4 hours later, after multiple texts and calls, he calls back like he has a great deal. He tells me that instead of the huge savings they advertised, he was able to drop my payment by $40. But i need to increase my loan out 2 more years, drop gap insurance and my extended warranty. So absolutely no savings and a complete waste of time. Probably why they partner with Credit Karma as it is a big scam to run your credit all day dinging your score. read more
