The car my grandfather wanted, never got in the end and still dealing with the canceled contract issue.
Isabelle H.

What can they improve? My grandpa came down here wanting a car the 2017 Chevy Impala that was $15k and it had a back up camera, when we went to look at it the paint was chipped, there was MOLD in the truck and water in the truck as well. We were promised by Moses that we will get the car some time in November of 2025 since we ended up buying the car and almost a month they kept postponing us with the backup camera constantly. We cancled the contract and we were being begged to give them more time but they already gave us the bill for a car we dont have in our driveway. We kept trying to call the people who work there and no one would awnser their phones. While we had to deal with the 2 thousand dollar bill for this nonexistent car. Kept having a hard time even contacting the dealers or being put on hold repeatedly, we got our money back on December 13th, but kept putting us on hold because they didnt fully cancle the contract on December 29th after calling their bank and threatening with a lawyer for what is going on we had to call them back, nevertheless they didnt awnser my grandmother's phone and I had to use mine to get someone on the line, from this whole experience. Their customer service sucks, they wont take accountability for holding your car hostage and giving you a bill for something that they still have in their own parking lot, and they will hang up on you too to top it off. Simply enough this place sucks and definitely will NOT recommend to anyone to go here and get a car from this place. The only thing you'll get is stress and having to pull teeth to get a simple response from them. Had to call corporate on them 3 times. Thank you for the stress Autonation really did not need it.

Stay away from this North Phoenix location! My daughter traded in her 2020 VW for a 2022 Challenger. Before financing was secured she got in an accident and totaled the Challenger. Our insurance is paying out on the wrecked vehicle. Our insurance advised us that the contract was canceled per the dealership and that they owned the Challenger so I asked for trade in back. They refused and are actively trying to sell it even though they are not paying off the loan on it we have had through our bank. There is an actual lien on the title since the VW is financed. If you are honoring the contract then pay off the VW and honor the gap insurance. If you are canceling the contract then return the trade in. You can't have it both ways. I've already complained to AG, DMV and various other sources and will continue to do so with this predatory dealership. Hope you feel great picking on a 20 year old single mom who is not going to be able to get to work to support her baby. Yes the new car was wrecked but we have good insurance who are paying out on this. Funny how you told the insurance you canceled the contract but lied to us and said you were financing at dealer, contrary to what the contract says btw. Also shady how you didn't even provide my daughter a copy of the contract until after the accident at my insistence. You didn't even sign the contract until 7 days later, the same day I asked for a copy. I used to buy all my vehicles here but never again!

When I gave ALBERT the deposit I asked if I dont get the car I can get my money back? He said yes, dont worry. WELLL.....Getting the refund back turned into a process. I had to make multiple visits, and communication was none existent until I filed a complaint with the Attorney General. In the response to my complaint they said if I provided proof of the charge they would refund my money promptly, which was a lie. I provided them my bank statement and they still wanted the ORIGINAL CARD that was charged. Because my original debit card had been replaced by my bank, they made excuses about how they couldnt process the refund. I requested a check, but they insisted it had to go back to the original card. Then they asked me to call my bank, yet another hoop to jump through to get MY money back which set me off. So I cussed them out and called them theives and liars and stormed out. However, I calmed down and decided to try one more time. After calling my bank and getting the old card number, they were able to process the refund and gave me a receipt. I'm now waiting for it to post. In the hour and half I was there, I also witnessed physical violence between two salesman that had got into an arguement.... Salesman 1 went to salemans 2 desk and popped him upside the head. Saleman 2 then stood up and the arguement escalated before he slapped him smooth across his face. A third salesman stepped between them and de escalated them. It was uncomfortable to watch as a customer. This place is questionable at best, they lied to me about the car, they lied about how I can recieve my refund, they are very unprofessional and aggressive. In the end, the refund was processed, but it required months of persistence on my part. I would never recommend buying a car from here if you want your money in trusted hands. In the video below you can hear them tussling and the slap from salesman 2.

At the time, I was informed that the vehicle required a motor mount replacement. Despite that issue, I liked the vehicle and left a deposit with the understanding that the repair would be completed before delivery. When I returned on Thursday to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that the repair had not yet been completed, so pickup was rescheduled for Friday. I arrived on Friday at 3:00 PM to complete the paperwork, only to find the Jeep still on the lift being worked on. I expressed that I did not feel comfortable signing paperwork until I had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle again and confirm the repair was completed properly. However, after waiting several hours, I ultimately signed the paperwork around 5:00 PM without being able to conduct a second test drive. Upon leaving the dealership, I immediately noticed several concerns: * The vehicle had almost no fuel. * Only one key fob was provided. * The trunk rubber mat was missing. * There was no washer fluid or power steering fluid. * The engine grounding strap had not been reconnected after the motor mount repair. * There were loose nuts/bolts under the hood. Due to the inconvenience and delay, I was assured that a replacement key fob would be provided at no additional cost. Shortly after driving the vehicle on the highway, I experienced additional issues, including knocking beneath the floorboard, pulling while driving, and shaking at higher speeds. I promptly reported these concerns to the salesman and provided photos of the issues I had identified under the hood. Based on feedback from individuals familiar with vehicle repairs, I suggested the possibility of suspension or tie rod-related issues. The dealership asked me to return the Jeep for inspection and repairs. The vehicle remained with them for approximately 2.5 days. When I picked it up, I was informed that the issue was simply an unbalanced tire. However, the additional concerns I raised were not addressed. Before leaving the dealership, I advised the salesman that the original issues were still present. I was told to "give it 24 hours" and follow up if the problems continued. The issues did continue, resulting in multiple follow-up conversations regarding another repair appointment and the possibility of a loaner vehicle while my Jeep was being serviced again -- only days after purchase. Eventually, the dealership agreed to pick up the vehicle from my workplace, which is approximately four miles away. After the second inspection, I was told the issue had been caused by a loose bolt and that the vehicle should now be operating properly. It has now been more than 30 days since my purchase, and I still have not received the promised replacement key fob or trunk mat. Despite contacting the dealership multiple times each week, communication has been inconsistent and vague, with responses such as "I hope so," "Maybe," or "I'll find out." I was also told on multiple occasions that a technician would contact me to arrange key fob programming at my home or office. However, none of the proposed appointments were ever confirmed, and I was never contacted. Most concerning is the fact that I requested several times for a manager to contact me regarding these ongoing issues, and I have yet to receive any response. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing purchasing experience. The ongoing lack of communication, incomplete repairs, and failure to fulfill commitments have left me with little confidence in the dealership's customer service or professionalism. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership to others.

After several years of popping in to this lot when car shopping , and a number of factors that have…read moreled to us thinking good things, I am trying to condense our positive experiences into JUST the ones where we bought a car. You're welcome. There are a lot of moving parts when making a car purchase. Will you deal with pushy salespeople? Will you *really* get a good price? Will the trade in be a hassle? Will the finance department mess you over? All of these are things we dread about car shopping. Which is where Another Time has offered a refreshing difference each time we've been there. As parents, and consumers with plenty of car purchases under our belts (for better or worse), we had worries about our young adult's first independent car purchases. And TWICE now, Another Time has exceeded our expectations. First, a few years ago, with the purchase of an older Camry. A great deal, friendly but NOT pushy sales support, and straightforward pricing with no hidden charges at the contract signing. As for the car itself, we had eyes wide open on what to reasonably expect from a 14 year old used car for $3,000, and so should you. No matter what you buy, from ANYONE, it will need something. So we had no surprises. Second, and most noteworthy was our experience today. Our son was financing a car for the first time on his own. We have been looking all over town in what has proven to be a very difficult car market. We had been on this lot previously and not found anything he liked. Last night the car he has been dreaming of was posted at a very fair price. Knowing how quickly cars move on this lot, we were there today at 8 a.m. Our son checked the Carfax, test drove and decided it was all systems go on the purchase. We then moved on to the trade in, where we negotiated a fair offer given the condition of the car. Everything was moving quickly, next we were headed to finance (this is the part where things often go south). He had taken our advice of being preapproved by a neutral 3rd party bank before shopping at the dealerships. We shared the preapproved rate with Robert in finance, and he started the process of seeing how he could beat it. Here's the thing. When someone both ENJOYS and is GOOD at what they do, it's evident in how hard they work to help, and how genuine they are in the transaction. Robert pulled off what we thought NO ONE could. He dropped that rate, for a young first time car buyer, from 11% to 6.49%! His excitement for my son was genuine and he truly made the transaction as easy as possible with his patience and knowledge. Everything was transparent, there were no hidden surprises. Polar opposite of what we've experienced at the big box dealerships. My son drove home today in an AWESOME Toyota at what seems to be a great deal all the way around. We are confident he won't be upside down in his loan, and will have a car that lasts several years. A HUGE THANK YOU to these top notch folks!

When he corrected it, he only corrected it on the DMV paperwork, not the auto loan, warranty, gap insurance, or any other paperwork. I pointed this out to them multiple times and they didn't correct it, resulting in me having to call all those institutions and get it corrected myself. He also did not flag the lifted truck option on the warranty he sold me despite the truck being lifted. They fixed this last part for free without any cost to me, so I guess they get half a point for effort there. Now that we get past the initial paperwork part of where this purchase went wrong, let's get into the mechanical issues with the vehicle. On my test drive, I noticed a burnt rubber smell coming from the left rear of the vehicle that I now know is symptomatic of a leaking rear axle seal. The power train warning light was also on the truck. I reported both of these things to the dealer and they said they would fix it with their partnered shop. They took the truck to the shop and told me they need to replace the wiring harness to correct the power train issue error. After that, they had to send the truck to a local transmission shop for a rebuild of the transmission, and that shop told me that there was an axle seal leaking. I passed that information on to the dealership to see if they would fix that or if I would have to, and they completely blew me off. Because of weeks back and forth where the dealership told me repeatedly that they'd communicated with other parties and then I call those parties and they all state they never heard from the dealership, I decided I no longer trusted that dealer or their mechanics at all and I took the car to a ford dealership. Immediately spotted the seal issue and diagnosed that the transfer case motor wasn't engaging. Swapped the motor and then had to diag that the wiring harness was messed up. I would not recommend buying a car from overstockvehicles or their partner organization valleycargroup. The only positive of this experience was getting them to foot the bill on a transmission rebuild for a vehicle that has known transmission issues.

I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!
