I asked about the rotors because I said there has been no issue with the brakes.Well, we just replaced the rotors.When we replaced the brake shoes. I took the car to another mechanic who took the tire off and told me my rotors , look like brand new and there was no reason whatsoever to replace those this really upset me because I had been a long time customer and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I brought my car in because I had snapped a bolt in my subframe while replacing the control arm and didn't have the tools to fix the mistake myself. I needed the car same day, and this was the only place with availability. I asked them to replace the control arm and do the alignment for me along with removing the bolt. I received a quote for $1400 dollars to drop the subframe. The worker there had justified his decision citing the gas lines, wires were in the way, etc. He mentioned that this pricing was worst case scenario, if the "professional mechanics" snaps the other 6 bolts. Never heard of anyone quoting on the bases of every bolt snapping and charging an hour of labor per bolt. I took the car to Sweet's Auto, and they finished the job in 4 hours. Control Arm, Alignment, and Bolt. They charged $400 for the same job. $1000 difference in pricing in excusable. Take your vehicle somewhere else, I wouldn't trust these guys.
