LIARS AND SCAMMERS!!! I bought a 2011 Nissan Rogue from them and everything was good when we test drove it, no lights or sounds. The next day when I went to buy it they didn't fill it up with gas, left it with the light on so that added another $60 to what I was spending and the guy who was bringing the car was about 20 minutes late. When we first met he didn't tell us there was a dealership fee so that surprised us. A couple days later the engine light and tire light comes on. Turns out they sold a car that needed a new catalytic converter adding another $800 to what was already spent. They turned the engine light off to hide it. The car also needs new brakes and tires which is fine I guess but they could've taken car of that. Overall I don't recommend. read more

You might think that you are getting yourself a good deal for a used car. This would've been so true if they were selling used cars! The thing is, they are NOT selling used cars, they are selling rebuilt SALVAGE title cars. Ok, that wouldn't be too bad either, some people consider buying those cars as a second or third car...etc. The problem is THEY WON'T disclose this fact to you! Quite low, right??! You might end up buying and paying off an expensive automobile that has "branded" title for a years if you are not careful! "Branded" title means that the new title shows car has been totaled once, so the new owners are aware of it. This basically mean that if you want to trade in such a car in the future it's practically worth nothing. Decent dealerships won't take it, other will give you ridiculously low amount. So PLEASE, please do yourself a favor and spare yourself a trouble, avoid this place. Ask for CARFAX and check the #VIN yourself. Don't relay on whatever story you hear from them. If you ask for CARFAX and they tell you that "car has been in a minor accident" RUN !! No car in a minor accident is given salvage title, it has to be damage 75%-100% to be declared salvage by insurance company. Also once you find out on your own that they are trying to scam you, they change from amiable to quite unfriendly in a matter of seconds. P.S - if you are intentionally buying rebuilt salvage car then i'm sure you are going to have a nice experience. They are willing to give you car to drive around, take it to the mechanic and are helpful with financing process.They'll offer one year warranty. If they were honest upfront and explained that they are selling rebuilt vehicles I would leave a positive review. read more

I bought a 2010 honda fit sport in 2012 that started falling apart after a few months. I had found out later that the car i bought had a salvaged title, had 4 owners, had been in a collision and was in a flood. No dealership would take it as a trade in which left me with negative equity. No wonder their prices are below blue book value. read more

These are well rebuilt salvage titled cars. Good for getting a deal, but not if you're ever considering as using as a dealer trade in later. I keep mine forever, so great option for me. Bought a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid (getting 37 mpg). Only a couple of minor issues with the car found after I purchased it. I just mentioned them to Carlos, dropped off the car & he got them taken care of for me. The windshield fluid line had a leak, was missing the small screw in antenna, & the passenger side window made a small noise when opening/closing. All taken care of. Good price & no stuffy salesmen -- overall a positive experience. read more

I bought a car here about a year ago. What brought me there was an add for a very competitively price Nissan Altima. As I get in there it looked like a pretty low budget operation with surprisingly nice cars. Test drove the one I liked, found out that it was in an accident and was showed the body work that was done. Felt a little nervous but pulled the trigger since the deal was so good. All I've had to do since is a new battery. Both mechanics I've had take a look say it's in great shape. Bottom line: this place is not the most professional or appealing to the eye, but they have great deals on cars which is what really matters. I'd definitely consider another car here. read more

I had a great experience at Automax. It was so easy. I think I spent less 30 minutes to test drive and sign paperwork to purchase the car. Carlos made really easy and he is very transparent about his car. The first thing he told me about this car that it was in an accident. Then he showed me a picture of the damage. Rare to see use car salesman be honest about what you are buying. But it allowed me to gauge risk and determine if this was worth buying. His 90 day warranty made this an easy decision. There was no upsell on other services or other cars. He let me drive the car alone. The car runs awesome and is a stunner. Mercedes SLK 250 2013 with 67000 miles. I asked him what was the lowest he would take for the car and ended dropping price by $1000. I had a great experience with Automax. Carlos helped me throughout the process, and not only was he nice and professional, but also very helpful. The prices on their cars are very reasonable, and their customer service is great. When I initially called to ask about the car I was interested on, Carlos told me all the information he knew about the car and title. He also told me that although the car had been on an accident, it had already been fixed and was good to go. He explained that the accident had not damaged either the motor or frame of the car (which I think is so honest) and that it came from a rental company (which explained the low mileage). I set up an appointment to see the car, and it was just as it was described. The car works perfectly. I definitely recommend this dealer to anyone who is looking for a good car. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This place is a joke. They lie about the vehicles and the financing. Most of the vehicles they have are Salvage titles, which are very hard to resell or trade in. The salesperson told us the car we were interested in was only in a minor accident. Turns out that was a huge lie. We did not know this before we put down a deposit and filled out the financing paperwork. So after one day of waiting to hear back from the "BANK", I get a call from the salesperson telling me we were approved and go to this ??? address to sign the paperwork. Well they don't use a bank, they use a crappy finance company (none of which was disclosed). We get there to Turner Acceptance and they want to give us a loan for 24.99% interest for 42 months. Yeah no way! Our credit is good! We never would have driven downtown for this. My fault for not double checking beforehand though. So after we decline the ridiculous financing, we head over to the "Dealer" to get our deposit back, which we were told before that it wouldn't be an issue. When we get there, Michael gets nasty with us and says he cannot give it back. I told him that you lied to us and we are NOT paying 24.99% interest for a car and that he should give us back our money. After more rude comments he gave in and out we went. Straight to Al Piemonte Nissan. We ended up with almost the exact same car with 5% interest and a fully warranty and a free carfax report on the vehicle. When we got home I looked up the car we almost bought at Automax and holy crap! Glad we did not buy it. It was in a MAJOR accident! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO PAY OUT THE YOU KNOW WHAT AND WANT TO DEAL WITH SHADY PEOPLE. read more
