My husband asked why and asked about the other parents in line and she ignored him and told the male window teller. The teller then made an announcement only looking at my husband to get out of line and then proceed to call him out specifically, the other parents STAYED in line. Once my husband left the line he sat in one of the three empty handicap chairs. The same female security guard walked up to him leaning into his space and told him " you know these seats are only for disabled people" ...... (mind you he's able to sit there) He then proceeded to tell her "you really want to ask me that?" Horrible experience at this location with this particular worker. Yesterday I made an appointment for today at 1330 hours. I was given outstanding service from the Navy Police Officer, the Gate Sentry Officer and the ID Officer. They all were polite and treated me with upmost respect. I was seen on time. No waiting. I had to show two forms of ID. I showed my CA DL and VA ID and was issued a new Military ID instantly. I highly recommend anyone authorized a Military ID and needing a new one to make an appointment and go to Norco Det at 1999 Fourth Street, Bldg 502. Just enter , go straight thru the double doors and sign in at pass and ID immediately to the left and then on the right. You will receive outstanding service. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The base also has an ITT for discount ticket purchases to movies, events and area amusement parks. All tickets must be pre-ordered by email and pickup is usually on Thurs the same week. Other than that, the only other facility on base is the Navy Credit Union and an ATM... sorry, there is NO Exchange, Commissary, Clinic, Shoppette, class-six, gym, etc. on base and the RV storage lot is now closed...minus a star! However, the grounds look very nice for running. Also if you have an assigned GOV, you can gain permission to park it on base if you live near here. For BX or Commissary, the closest is at March Air National Guard base in Moreno Valley Ca, about 25 miles. NWSC is open 24 hours but the gate is closed after hours; however, you can call the number posted on the gate for after-hour access. Again, access is for military-affiliated personnel only.
