Likely a sales tactic, and not one Im a fan of, but I was really interested in the car so I proceeded. Things went well, and I decided to go ahead with the purchase of the vehicle. In the finance office, I was presented with 2 existing warranty terms, there was no mention of the 3rd comprehensive 5 year that would still be active on the car for 45k. Then I was presented with the chance to purchase a comp warranty which I did, believing that mine would cease in about 5k. This cost just over 4k. When I got home I went onto the website, because I had been quite sure there was a 5 yr, and it turns out there was! I called the next day to express my disappointment in being misled, and to cancel the extended warranty. That was on June 23. It is now August 5, and the warranty balance is still sitting on my KIA loan accruing interest. The only person at Downtown KIA who seems to care at all is the woman at the front desk. The last time I went in, the manager of finance couldnt even be bothered to walk out and apologize to me for the delay, that was 2 weeks ago, and here I am still waiting. Once you buy the car, good luck getting these folks to give good customer service. I love the car, but wont go back to this dealership again in the future.

Due to all the snow of late, of the 12 days that I have owned the car, I have driven 3 days for a total of 200kms. Between too much snow and it always needing repairs, this has been a total waste of $11000+. I emailed them why woeful tale and never received a response. Instead I am taking my car to Nixon Automotive to do a proper repair job and inspection. Sure I opted not to buy a warranty, but who the hell expects this many problems within 2 weeks a vehicle purchase. DO NOT EVER deal with Granville Island Motors or its parent company PS Motors.
