I believe the service advisor who helped me was Thomas. He was friendly, informative, professional, and made me feel like a valued customer. Thomas let me know that the service would take about an hour and a half, so I walked a couple of doors down to enjoy lunch at Emil Villa's Hickory Pit. To my surprise, when I returned from lunch, my car was already finished and ready to go. Another pleasant surprise was the price. As a AAA member, the cost of the oil change was significantly lower than the quotes I received from three other oil change businesses I had contacted. This is far beyond what even dealership service departments typically charge for similar work. It feels blatantly predatory. They had my vehicle towed directly to their shop, fully aware that I had limited options to move it elsewhere, and appear to have taken advantage of that situation to inflate costs. Charging premium prices for a used part with no guarantee is unacceptable and raises serious questions about their business practices and ethics.
