I specifically asked Barbara if she had a Smart Car convertible available? She said no, but they DO have a hardtop Smart car which I reserved. Their very personable, on-time and competent driver Tony picked us up at about 6:00 AM, and drove us over to Ocean to get us set up and on the road. Paperwork was waiting on the desk, but...no Smart Car. They did have something else for us, but that was not the arrangement we had made. If Barbara has simply called and explained they didn't have a Smart Car available, I probably would have just said fine, no problem. But they didn't. Thanks for the bait and switch, Ocean. I do hope you learn how to treat your customers, of which I am no longer one, and stop lying to them. Sayonara.

Come 8:30 am today when I was supposed to be picked up I hadn't been contacted. So at 8:40 I called the store to find that their driver had not come in yet. I said so what's the point of me scheduling a pickup time? They said they didn't know when he would be in but they'd call me when he got in. I said so I'm just supposed to sit around waiting with no ETA? I have somewhere to be. Then they asked me what my pickup address is. I said shouldn't you have that if I'm scheduled to be picked up? I gave my address and he tells me they can't pick me up because I'm outside of their pickup radius. I said so wouldn't it have been appropriate to tell me that on Friday when I scheduled pickup??? He told me to transfer my reservation to a closer store to be picked up but that I might not be able to be picked up since I'm a new transfer res. I told them they are idiots and hung up and called the other store. They agreed to pick me up between 9:30 and 10. At 10:05 I get a call saying I was added to the DO NOT RENT LIST. are you kidding me?! You all are absolute shit for brains. You fail at doing business you advertise and expect not to hear about it? Then I called to speak to the manager teddy and he hung up on me when I told him what happened. You assholes have now cost me a job due to your inability to be professional and do a basic job. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS EVER

Not sure why I needed the lecture as the car I rented was not available.I had reserved a BMW X1 SUV, but no SUV was available. The agent offered me a BMW 2 Series instead, and I agreed, I asked where I could park my car, I was told I couldn't park there and would need to leave and come back. They admitted they did not advertise on their site that no parking was available at this location. Then the agent informed me that he had canceled my reservation. Both agents were rude and unhelpful.

I came in and there was a problem with the vehicle not being closed off of a previous ride. After numerous phone calls and consults it was finally closed out. Then there was an issue with the Tamarac office trying to book my rental, I was standing there with a reservation number from the previous day, that took another 30 mins to straighten out. When I was finally cleared for the vehicle I noticed that it was dirty inside and out and I was told that was because the vehicle was shuttled around from Boca to Tamarac to Pompano I asked if a wash was available for it and was told yes but that would take 30 mins. At this point I was already late for appointments I had made but drove it to a nearby carwash and paid to have it washed and deodorized after which I noticed the windows with a dirty film (discusting) took the vehicle home and had to clean the windows myself because I was taking clients out for lunch. I was told because of the delay the return could be late and they would not charge for it (car picked up Tuesday at 9:30 am and returned Wednesday at 8:30 am) I went to my office and noticed a statement from Hertz with a $12.00 late return fee, I have placed several calls to the Pompano office with no answer. I don't expect any response from Hertz they are welcome to keep my rental and their BS late fees. In summary: CUSTOMER SERVICE - 0 stars VEHICLE - 0 stars VEHICLE ODOR - FREE!! I will never use or recommend this company to anyone!

I tried to go get a sec opinion he rushed in the car and demanded I give him the key. I wanted to go return the car at Coral Springs because they never give me an issue, just smiles and polite customer service even if I show up when they are about to close. they need to train this guy

They never came to get the car. I told Delray Beach (where I rented the car) to come get it 3 times (I have the emails). So I called again on Monday, March 2. Then they picked up the car on Tuesday. So, then I get the bill, which not only charged me for the rest of the week, but also charged me 4 extra days. This is total BS! I will NEVER rent from Hertz again!

This place has the worst, absolute worst customer service known to man. You go through lots of aggravation to get to a car, that car has maintenance issues, you get another car that the breaks work bad on. This place is the worst place. I'm telling you right now. Pay extra money and don't do this to yourself. The lady at the front desk was a very nasty miserable person. She should probably retire. The guy next to her was even nastier. The only thing this place can do to improve is get new people to work there and then get better cars. Oh and when you pay money to rent a midsize car, they will give you a smaller car but not adjust the price and lie to you in your face and tell you that the car they gave you is midsize. I don't care where I am and how much I have to pay. I will NEVER rent from Budget again.

The customer service was unfriendly and completely unaccommodating. I ended up walking down the street in the hot sun to Hertz, where they welcomed me, honored Apple Pay exactly as advertised, offered me a beautiful car, and required only a reasonable deposit. The difference in customer service was night and day. Enterprise lost my business, and based on this experience, I won't be back ever !!!! Ruddddeeee
