Two years I had been looking for this 1 specific item, went to Rockauto, A1Auto Parts, AutoZone, and even Advanced Auto, no one had it or they couldn't get it. But on this day on 4 October 2023, Wednesday, I searched over behind the Green fenced area where they used to have an abundance of trucks similar to year of my truck, to my surprise very little trucks were there. As I walking back to leave, in the distance, I spotted a Ford that looked similar to mine if the clearing all the way in the back pass, all the buses; there were 2 vehicles that I could choose from, one was a 97-98 Expedition and the other was a 97-99 Ranger. In both vehicles was the part that I had been looking for, so I got both just in case one of them was to break later on down the line, this way I would have a backup. Beware COX trailers in Brandywine: The short version. My…read moretrailer had been stolen and when I found it years later, needed many repairs so I could move it to Cincinnati where I live now. Cox trailers was the only company I could find in all of SOMD who did trailer repairs so I called JD and he gave me the number of his trusted tow truck company. Here are all the problems I then encountered with JD: 1- the tow truck company HE recommended was late to drop off the trailer and did a VERY poor job of securing the trailer on the flat bed. JD then told me how upset he was that he had accepted my trailer and that he wished he had never gotten involved. In my opinion, this was very rude and unprofessional of him. 2- He put me off for MONTHS on a quote. I dropped the trailer off in November and he didn't get the job completed until April. I repeatedly asked for a quote and did not receive one. Finally when my husband reached out, he got it to him the SAME day. 3- He lost his temper with me on the phone one time and said he was losing money on the job and again, wished he had never taken me on as a client. (He later apologized but again, rude and unprofessional) 4- He said all of my running lights were in working order, but when we turned the lights on driving back to Cinci, one was out. 5- Once back in Cinci, we needed a partition built and brought it to a highly recommended trailer repair business. He told me that JD had lied about my bearings being replaced because they were clearly rusted through and that the labor JD had charged me was THREE times the price. (He kept the rusted bearings for proof). So not only did he NOT replace the bearings, but he charged me triple the labor it should've taken.
