I had a disappointing experience at this Advance Auto Parts due to the customer service I received. In my opinion, this was terrible customer service from start to finish. When I walked into the store, an employee saw me but didn't greet me professionally. Instead, he walked down an aisle, gave me a chin nod as if he knew me personally, mumbled something I couldn't understand, walked past me, went to the cashier, and then stepped outside with something in his hand. If he was busy, a simple, "I'll be right with you," would have been appreciated. Instead, I was left wondering if I was even being acknowledged. When he came back, rather than greeting me with something like, "How can I help you?" he simply said, "What's up?" As someone he had never met before, I found that overly familiar and unprofessional. It also left me questioning whether I was being greeted that way because I'm Black--whether he assumed I'd be comfortable being spoken to so casually. I don't know if that was his intent, but that's how the interaction came across to me, and I was not okay with it. When I told him I was there to pick up an order, he asked for my name but couldn't find it in the system. I suggested using my order number and even held up my phone with the confirmation, but he replied, "That's not how it works," without looking at it. After he still couldn't find my order by my name, he then asked to see my phone--the very thing I had already offered from the start. That was frustrating because it unnecessarily prolonged the interaction. If he had simply looked at the confirmation when I first offered it, the issue could have been resolved much more quickly. Customer service should be professional, courteous, and respectful. A proper greeting, acknowledging customers when you're busy, and listening when a customer is trying to help resolve an issue are basic expectations. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below those standards and left me feeling disrespected. Based on this interaction, I consider this to have been terrible customer service. read more

This review is for Josue C who was absolutely fantastic! There were 3 women staff who completely ignored me. I went right to ask assistance of one of them and she went left. All 3 of them did this. Before I had a chance to get frustrated, Josue asked if I needed help. Long story short, he tested my battery, researched my battery options with me, rang up my battery and was outside installing it all within 45 mins AND while finishing up helping another customer. He also taught me things about refrigerant and just had such a pleasant spirit. I wanted to give him money for lunch as a thank you but that may have been against store policy. Hopefully, the right eyes see this post and can highlight Josue at work. He is great and all staff there can learn from his professionalism and positive attitude. Tonight I went to Auto Zone Camren helped me changed my car battery. He was very nice and polite, he did a great job.

Camren was checking me out and explained that they were out of the free filter that comes with the 5 qts of castrol. I said it was fine and just accepted the loss on the deal. Kevin stepped in and said No, that he would make sure they held up their end of the deal. He went to the back and came back with the filter. That's 5 star customer service in my eyes. 2 stars for Camren lol. Sorry Camren. In his defense; He said he wears glasses lol read more

If I were allowed to rate lower than 1 star I would. My experience with this location was the worst I ever experienced the Manager Eric B. Wound up charging me again for the same item I had already purchased and when noticed and returned to the counter Eric B informed me that "this is a tough situation you'll need to contact our corporate offices" on Monday. So essentially I just paid over $300 for a $150 water pump oh until I talk to corporate on Monday enter these doors at your own risk. read more

This place is amazing! The staff goes above and beyond to help the customers! My tail light got broken on accident at their location and they ordered me a brand new one at no cost and it was here in 2 days! They did the labor in a matter of minutes and I was on my way!
