June 9th, 2021 arrived at 1:15pm…read more You must Avoid this place at all cost!!!!!! I went to this junk yard that was hidden in the woods with No signs out by the roads. Looks shady like others mentioned on Yelp!! This is my situation, I told him I am look for a TCM for a 1993 Honda Accord and he point me the left saying the the car just came in and was caught on fire, but was stopped before further damage was done. I was hoping the cars electronics are fine. I asked him, if this car TCM is bad, will he have another car with the same year. He looked at me like I asked him a stupid question, he said the car just came in and the TCM should be fine. Again, I ask him where's the other car. I told him, I don't want to bother you with what your doing just in case this one turns out bad. After making it about him he pointed to back right corner. That wasn't hard, I thought. Some people just a control freak!! I found the car with the window down and we just had a big rain yesterday. I uninstall the box and I decided to open the box to make sure the board was fine. I found some water spots and burnt spot on the circuit board. I took some pictures to show him, if needed. I put everything back together and called him for the other cars location. He got mad after I told him that I open the box. He told me to come the front and he's going to escort me out. I thought maybe he misunderstood me, so I explain to him again why I did what I did, he was still adamant about me leaving. I told him how else would I have known, if didn't open the box. I told him I came here because I have a burnt capacitor. My Board is burnt, but in waaaaaaaay better condition!!!!! I asked so you rather have me just buy a bad board, if I did would you have given me another TCM or a refund, he said NO!!!! No returns, he said. So you should understand why I did what I did than!!!! I said to him. I was talking through the door way of his little trailer door calling him a scammer and a con artist!!! I told him he can keep all his used junk and left. He never left his small trailer to escort me out, jiven fool!! I called another place (LQK) and mention my situation. I wanted to understand their take on what I did, if it was wrong and he didn't see nothing wrong. He said, if I have a TCM for you to open, I would and also give you 6 months warranty. I don't want to hurt his way of making money to survive, but I feel I have warn others about his business tactics. Did I also mentioned the TCM that went bad was purchased from here ( Pennys Junk). I had to give him a STAR to rate this place otherwise I give him nothing.

I personally went to Gainesville Garage & Trailer Sales before my appointment to explain that I was…read morebringing my four-year-old vehicle in for a thorough checkup before a 1,200-mile trip. I specifically explained that it was important for me to speak with the mechanic after the inspection so I could understand not only whether the vehicle was currently safe to drive, but also whether there were any developing issues, wear items, or concerns I should be aware of going forward. Since I paid for a multipoint checkup, I think it was entirely reasonable to expect an opportunity to ask the mechanic a few questions about what he actually observed during the inspection--not simply be handed a general "everything looks fine" conclusion. After the inspection, I paid the charges but was told the mechanic was not available to speak with me. I asked that he contact me afterward, but no one did. I called again and received no response. Because I had been led to believe I would be contacted, I ultimately drove back to the shop in person, only to then be told that mechanics do not speak with customers. That was particularly frustrating because I had made my expectations clear before the appointment. I did not bring the vehicle in merely to receive a generic assurance that "everything is fine." I wanted the benefit of the mechanic's actual observations after examining the vehicle, especially before a 1,200-mile drive. At this point, despite paying for the evaluation, I have very little understanding of the actual condition of my vehicle beyond a summary declaration that all was well. If all I wanted was a rubber stamp, I could have gone elsewhere. What I expected was a meaningful inspection followed by enough communication to understand what was found and whether there is anything I should monitor, maintain, or address in the foreseeable future. I'm frustrated that, after paying for what I expected to be a meaningful evaluation, I now have to take my car somewhere else and pay again just to get the proper assessment and explanation this shop failed to provide.

First, I called and scheduled an oil change and emissions on one of our cars. It was scheduled for two days later. Dropped it off, waited about 30-40 min and then done! Best of all they did not try to make me do a bunch of unnecessary things. Paid and I was out. $99 for an all synthetic oil change was very reasonable. Second, I had two flat tires. I had my insurance roadside tow my car down the street here. They called to let me know one could just be repaired but the other one should be replaced. We replaced both tires and got an oil change. Everything was done by the next morning. Prices were reasonable and service impeccable. They picked me up to get the car. Timmy always provides above and beyond customer service and really makes you feel like a valued customer. I have been to so many auto shops in Loudoun County and none were as honest and convenient! I recalled an O'Reilly store had opened up just up the street so I figured I'd have a look and see if they carried bolts. I walk into the store and I am the single customer. Two people behind the counter; a young lade and man. No greeting, no "can I help you"... they were interested in nothing except chatting to each other. I located the small selection of bolts in the store after a few minutes and I asked the young man if he had a thread gauge for the bolt. He responded with "no" and offered no assistance. I said "well then", set the bolts on the counter and walked out. I definitely wont go back anytime soon, if ever.
