Started the return process a week ago. I returned the transfer case myself because it was small enough to fit into my other vehicle. Drove to the warehouse to exchange and the one for the exchange they had tagged as for an Explorer was ALSO for an Edge. Decided to return the transfer case and transmission right then. Sourced a different part from another company while waiting for the return to be initiated. This was a week ago. I was promised a week ago that the transmission (sitting on a pallet and too heavy for me to pick up) would be picked up by a driver "tomorrow". I've called each day since then and was assured that it would be "tomorrow". Finally contacted the "Sales Manager" and was again told "tomorrow". It is BEYOND RIDICULOUS that it takes a week to pick up the part especially when the warehouse is 10 minutes away. IT is also UNACCEPTABLE that the part is on a list and not getting picked up and that "dispatch" cannot call a driver and make sure that they swing by the shop and pick up the part. The ONLY honest and competent person I've dealt with is the guy in the warehouse who took my transfer case. 1) Don't know what parts they have (labeled wrong in their system) 2) Sales people are clueless 3) Return process is ridiculously long 4) Dishonest reps at every stage of the process Again. Run. Don't walk away from this shady company. This company gets ZERO stars from me. But I have to give it at least one star to post this review.

This is probably the only instance where I've actually felt a negative star review is warranted,…read morebut in this case, being as I was robbed by this place for $500, it's more than justified. I don't like to make a habit of dragging local businesses, but when you've been laid off and every single dollar counts, I'd like to warn others not to spend their hard earned money here. So, over the summer, the air conditioning in my car stopped working. The car is less than 10 years old, and I've had this model before with little to no issues, so I felt more than comfortable grabbing a checkup from this particular station, especially knowing it's family owned. I was charged about $300 for a "AC RECHARGE & DYE" labor and materials. Fine; if that's what it takes, it sucks to spend money but at least my ac is working. I noticed right away that the ac worked intermittently or not at all. Took it back to this same station, they ran some kind of test and concluded it's fine. But the thing is, it was never fine. I didn't pay for a partial repair, I paid for a FULL repair. As in, I expect my ac to function after specifically shelling out my limited wages that week to pay for it. Is this an unreasonable expectation? I guess so. So let's fast-forward me being gaslit for about two months to when I was driving home from a particularly brutally hot day at my temporary job, and being mad because, Goddammit I paid for ac and I'm not getting it. I brought it back to this same place since it's blatantly obvious they never actually fixed what they charged me for. Today I was charged almost $200 for "A/C DIAGNOSTIC: PERFORM SYSTEM TEST FOR PRESSURES AND A/C FUNCTIONS. CHECK FOR AC DYE. WE FILLED OVER THE SUMMER AND IT IS NOW NOT WORKING. COMPRESSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. FLOW SENSOR INTERMITTENTLY WORKING." OKAY SO. The last sentence appears to be the only thing that makes any sense. However, "WE FILLED IT OVER THE SUMMER AND IT IS NOW NOT WORKING" is misleading and frankly, false. To say "NOW" it's not working is entirely untrue, because it wasn't working directly after the first "repair." As I said, I brought it back after the first "repair" and I was gaslit because "sometimes the ac kicks in." Nice. As for the second part, that the "COMPRESSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED", WHY on God's green earth did you not recognize this little issue the first time you supposedly diagnosed my car? They proceeded to provide me with a $700 estimate for an "actual" repair. Ma'am, you already charged me $300 for absolutely nothing, I was gaslit into thinking that sometimes-working-ac-is-better-than-no-ac-at-all (until it stopped working altogether), and now you charge me nearly $200 to evaluate the first diagnostic you dicked up and for which you gave me the wrong "repair"? If you had the capability to know what was actually wrong in August when I first brought her in, what was stopping you from doing whatever sort of magic diagnostic you did today, that you charged me $176.49 more for? I would have paid the $700 you gave on the estimate then and there. So, overall, I paid about $500 (while I'm between jobs), for my ac to be broken and remain broken. This is absolutely predatory behavior for a business (local or not). Save yourself a lot of money and go somewhere else.

Very honest, kept it simple, and didn't try to upsell. Bought another used Tundra that had some issues. Brought it to them and they figured out all my issues like new alternator, wheel bearing with all the fixings, and fixed the air vents not changing with the controls. They also gave me things to look out for when I asked what they think of the truck or if it's junk. They gave me price quotes for things I want to do in the future when I asked too. They may be a little pricey but they like using OEM parts for things that affect the engine or performance plus they warranty their work and are honest about it all. I like the invoice they send with pictures of things that concern them with their recommendations. And to the mechanic that worked on my truck. Sorry I didn't realize it was soo muddy underneath. I personally went to Gainesville Garage & Trailer Sales before my appointment to explain that I was…read morebringing my four-year-old vehicle in for a thorough checkup before a 1,200-mile trip. I specifically explained that it was important for me to speak with the mechanic after the inspection so I could understand not only whether the vehicle was currently safe to drive, but also whether there were any developing issues, wear items, or concerns I should be aware of going forward. Since I paid for a multipoint checkup, I think it was entirely reasonable to expect an opportunity to ask the mechanic a few questions about what he actually observed during the inspection--not simply be handed a general "everything looks fine" conclusion. After the inspection, I paid the charges but was told the mechanic was not available to speak with me. I asked that he contact me afterward, but no one did. I called again and received no response. Because I had been led to believe I would be contacted, I ultimately drove back to the shop in person, only to then be told that mechanics do not speak with customers. That was particularly frustrating because I had made my expectations clear before the appointment. I did not bring the vehicle in merely to receive a generic assurance that "everything is fine." I wanted the benefit of the mechanic's actual observations after examining the vehicle, especially before a 1,200-mile drive. At this point, despite paying for the evaluation, I have very little understanding of the actual condition of my vehicle beyond a summary declaration that all was well. If all I wanted was a rubber stamp, I could have gone elsewhere. What I expected was a meaningful inspection followed by enough communication to understand what was found and whether there is anything I should monitor, maintain, or address in the foreseeable future. I'm frustrated that, after paying for what I expected to be a meaningful evaluation, I now have to take my car somewhere else and pay again just to get the proper assessment and explanation this shop failed to provide.

Extremely bad work and shoddy parts…read more I had them install new brakes in the summer of 2024. By the winter of 2025, the brakes were wobbling. Apparently the brakes they installed were faulty (the rotors warped), but they still charged be $200 to replace them even though they were still under warranty. That would be fine, I guess, if they had done a good job or used good parts the second time, but it's been 2 months and my brakes are grinding and slipping. Apparently, the pins, the rotors, the pin boots, the pads, and a few other parts are so low quality that they're falling apart already. At this point, I'm not trusting my car to these guys again. I took my car to the mechanic near my work in Fredericksburg and paid him $500 to just do the job correctly. I deeply regret not taking my car to him in the first place, as he would have done a good job, stood by his work, and I wouldn't be out $700 for bad work and bad parts. Do yourself a favor and go to a different mechanic.

Initially, I received excellent service from Julian, a serviceman who assisted me at the front desk. He provided a lot of helpful information about my warranty and offered various services related to the lights. While waiting for the repairs, Julian kept me informed about the expected duration and when the parts would arrive. I appreciated his communication. However, things took a turn when Julian had to consult with his service manager, Tamara, regarding the battery and whether it would be covered by the warranty. It was at this point that problems arose. Tamara suddenly claimed that none of the work on the lights would be covered due to pre-existing superficial damage to one of the taillights, which I had not mentioned when dropping off the vehicle. It's important to note that the issue I brought in the vehicle for concerned all four lights malfunctioning, not just the damaged taillight. Throughout the process, Tamara displayed rudeness and a lack of professionalism, refusing to assist me in any way and making the situation needlessly difficult. To make matters worse, Tamara decided to reissue a report that had already been sent to me, now including a charge for a diagnostic fee for the lights. The existence of the small damage was already known when I dropped off the vehicle, and no mention was made of a diagnostic fee until Tamara became involved. When I arrived at the office, I was surprised to find a new bill that included this charge, even though Julian had previously sent me the same bill without it. Julian seemed almost embarrassed to hand me the updated bill, knowing that Tamara had added the charge. Throughout the entire process, Julian tried his best to maintain professionalism and rectified the situation by removing the obviously unfounded diagnostic charge. Moreover, when I entered the office, Julian was kind and provided me with good service, acting as if there were no issues. However, Tamara positioned herself aggressively close to me, making me feel confronted, and repeatedly asked if I was satisfied with her service, despite our previous conflicts and my expressed dissatisfaction. It appeared to be an intentional attempt to provoke a reaction. Overall, the experience with Julian was positive, but Tamara's behavior was unprofessional, aggressive, and tarnished the reputation of your company. I was under the impression that inspections were covered by my warranty based on previous visits, but Tamara insisted otherwise unless I could provide specific warranty clauses. In the end, it all felt very unprofessional and was an embarrassment to your company's name."

NEVER PAY FOR A PRESSURE TEST!! auto zone will rent you a pressure test system FREE OF CHARGE. So I went and got an autozone test kit and pressure tested the system. No leaks!! It was my ac compressor that was leaking a bunch of PAG oil. The leak had nothing to do with my coolant at all. A day later my ac compressor completely broke down so that's when I went ahead and replaced my compressor and dryer my self which cost me about 250$, but it can be an extensive job, a shop will charge you well over 600$ for it. If I had been someone who wasn't car savvy and just let them pressure test it to find no leak then charge for ac compressor replacement I'd be out a lot of money. The " professional technicians" should have seen that it was clearly leaking from the compressor, the coolant was not low even a little. Either they were trying to take advantage of me and charge me for a service they know I didn't need and rip me off or they were too incompetent to see that liquid clearly dripping from my ac compressor wasn't coolant. Not sure which is worse. Steer clear
