I called the store and employe Amos Moore answered the phone. I informed Mr. Moore of the two items I was seeking. I also explained that I was handicap and parked at the front door of the store. Within minutes, he came out, assessed my needs by looking under the hood of my car and at my rear lights. He went back in the store, looked up the items came out with them and told me how much it would be. I gave him the cash and I was short $.11. I started to scrounge around in my console to look for the $.11. When I turned around, I was going to tell him I'll just give him an extra dollar, but he was not standing at my car door. He had gone to his car to retrieve the $.11. for me. Amos Moore went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. He treated me like a friend or a family member and this means the world to me. He was professional, kind, and caring. Please know that he is a valuable employee and should be treated as such. I followed up with a call to district manager, Vanessa Mason. Ms. Mason took the time to hear about my experience at the Solon Store and expressed how happy she was to hear of the service that Mr. Moore provided. Vanessa Mason's expertise and knowledge as a district manager will ensure continued success to your corporation. BUT, our transmission (CVT) went out at less than 100,000 miles. And to add insult to injury, just had an oil change the week before and had a transmission service (fluid change) last year. At that service visit, they saw no issues or brought any possible concerns to our attention. Our Murano was a peach too! No dents. No dings. No rust. Hand waxed it twice a year, only did touchless carwashes. People always thought it looked much newer than a 2015. Garage kept with regular 5,000 mile oil-changes. Drove less than 9,000 miles per year and 75% of those miles were highway miles. Just so sad the transmission blew. Back in 2015 it was the most expensive new vehicle we ever purchased and last month we sold it for scrap value. Still upset about it. And to put salt in the wound, the Trade-in value was about $4 - $5 thousand if running, - and a little more, $7 - $8 thousand if sold by owner. The trouble is, the Service Dept. quoted us just under $12,000 for a new transmission with installation. So we decided to just bite the bullet and let it go. Scrap it. Just wouldn't make much sense to spend more than double the trade-in value for an 11 year old car (worth half that when running). No issues with this dealer, but we will NEVER own another Nissan product. After talking to some mechanic friends and reading some of the Nissan forums, it turns out that Nissan has had lots and lots of transmission issues on this and other models. They (Nissan) knew full well it was an undersized trans' in a car the size and weight of the Murano; yet THEY KEPT USING IT ??? That's just in-excusable. To be honest, my wife and I both miss the Murano, a lot. We loved the vehicle. But alas, we won't miss Nissan nor the Infiniti brand for very much longer. Unless they start to build some truly reliable vehicles, customers will look AND BUY from other manufactures and Nissan will go the way of Dodo Bird, Saturn, Scion, Plymouth, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, etc., etc., etc. From automotive articles we've read and on-line auto news, it's clear Nissan is already on the ropes, so it's only a matter of time before they get knocked out of the ring. Our advice is stay away from Nissan. It won't end well.

I called on Saturday to get a price estimate and clearly mentioned the exact trim of my car. I was quoted a price between $750-$850. In hindsight, this price appears to have simply been a hook to get the business. After I had my car towed to the shop and dropped the keys in the drop box, I was contacted the next day and told that the original quote had been given by a "sub." Suddenly, the price for the exact same job jumped to $1,350. I do not mind paying a fair price for quality work, but I do mind deceptive business practices. I was told the person who gave the original quote would be fired, which honestly sounded like another excuse rather than a real explanation. At this point, I was already exhausted dealing with the situation and did not have the energy to arrange another tow and move the car to a different shop. Based on my experience, I would avoid this shop unless you are comfortable dealing with misleading estimates, significantly inflated prices, and an extremely condescending shop owner.
