My boyfriend bought his son a truck from here and it's been a nightmare ever since! Although a warranty was never purchased, we were told that the issues that we were experiencing that they would fix. They offered to pay 50% of the job prior to His on site mechanic looking at the vehicle. He said they couldn't find the problem so he offered to send it to his contracted mechanic and even he wasn't interested in tackling the job! The offer to pay 50% was rescinded and I'm guessing because the work was so extensive that it didn't make sense to make good on his word. Two oil changes, a replaced starter, two tows and THREE MECHANICS LATER... After less than 60 days and TWO PAYMENTS INTO THE LOAN, We are stuck with this POS AND looking at almost $1500 worth of work that needs to be done! Bad bad business! I'm an auto enthusiast myself & have dealt with Mostapha of Auto World on several occasions, probably one of the finest example of a car dealer i have met. Their motto is "With Integrity" & they stand behind that. The complaints I'm seeing here are almost baseless, this isn't 1980s used car business, dealers don't just go out to scam people and ruin their dealerships reputation which is now all this business is based on. I would recommend any of my family or friends to visit that dealership if they are in the market for a pre owned car. They even have their own Mechanic facility, this isn't some little used car lot, this is a major operation with small lot prices instead of the inflated manufacturer prices. Other complaints are about used cars they didn't buy warranties for having issues after a while, well thats what a used car is...however i see the dealership offers to cover 50% of the cost if any issues arise early which is RARE for any dealer to do! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Auto World. We came in on a Sunday to test drive a BMW 325i, but saw a Mercedes C280 with around 70,000 miles. It was well kept and the mechanics and service people did a great job polishing it to make it look like the day it was manufactured. I had a lot of questions during the transaction and negotiated with Mo, the Finance guy, and honestly we had a great conversation during the deal. We got an awesome 3 yr warranty for a decent price and payments were affordable. My spouse said it was the fastest checkout ever for buying a car, even with them being short staffed that day. We drove off the lot happy, and got a phone call later apologizing for the tank not being full before us driving off; we received funds for gas, as well as a gift card for movies! I even called two weeks later for a follow up question re: a check engine light and got my problem solved. I will definitely visit Auto World when shopping for my next Mercedes. Thank you! read more

Ive easily spent over $1000+ on parts and repairs trying to fix the issues that this car came with. I bought a 2015 500 Abarth and ive had it for 2 months and a half and ive had to change these so far: Headgasket, 3 break pads and 3 rotors, and the front passanger side axle. Also the motor might have some issues because the oil is literally disappearing the next day or two days after adding more oil. I called Mike telling him about these issues and he told me to call him the next day and hung up immediately after i told him my cousin was the mechanic checking my car, someone else that left a review mentioned Mike brushing it off and not helping the dude and I can see exactly what he was talking about. I agree with the people that say Mustafa is a crook, as he is also the most unprofessional, disgusting and disrespectful person I have ever met. He cursed me out (multiple mother f*ckers) in front of my family and others after I called him a typical used car salesman scumbag and he threatened to call the police....Somebody please tell me the last time the police responded to someone calling another a "scumbag"...especially at a used car lot. I'm so glad I wasn't there to buy a car from him. We went through True Car Sell to sell our car, and Autoworld ended up being the highest bidder. Since we lived about 50 miles away, we called to make sure there would be no issues. We were assured that if the car is as we described it, the deal would be made. When we arrived, he looked for every little ding and scratch (only finding 2), and told us he thought the car had a 3rd row when nowhere in the specs does it say 3rd row. We even marked the "minor scratches and dings box on the application, so he was just grasping for straws when he realized he made a mistake about the 3rd row. If you're a car dealer, learn your automobiles or at least know how to look them up. He is a scumbag and will always be a scumbag and I hope he never sells another car again. 2 hours of my life wasted driving back and forth. TrueCar will hear my story and I hope they boot him from their program. So disrespectful. read more

I had been looking for the car I purchased all over and I drove almost 2 hours one way to see the car and it was even better then they explained. Many positive reviews here which we also read prior to visiting AutoWorld but it only takes one bad experience. Long story short, when finalizing the paper work for the car we bought from them, the sales/finance people @ AutoWorld initially told me that I could add an additional person on the car loan at a later time (in order to help him bring up his credit score since adding him from the beginning wasn't possible) Basically, they told us that after 6 months of him making payments (with his account/checks), the bank would "trust him" and gladly add him to my loan. Instead of verifying this with the bank, we took their word for it. When the time arrived to make the first car/loan payment using his account, the bank rejected it and my payment was late. When I called the bank to resolve the issue, I mentioned to them why he was making the payment on my behalf, but they informed me that since he is not on the loan, he could not make the monthly payments, furthermore, they clarified that the ONLY way to add him to my car loan was to refinance the vehicle, and AutoWorld knew this. Thinking back now, its ironic how the sales woman from AutoWorld told us at one point while we sat in front of her that she wasn't a "shark" lol. Although the car we bought is great, at the end of the day Auto World lied to us and we were deceived due to our own ignorance. Lesson learned! (Go with a large dealership, it seems that these small dealers will say anything to make a sale) read more

Out of all the dealerships I've been to, this one is one of the best I've experienced, and would be safe to say is one of the best dealerships in Southern California. Joseph, Abraham, and Moe are all very honest salesmen and fixed any problem there was on the 1999 Toyota Tacoma I bought before selling it to me. The turn signals were not working for a while after I had the truck. However, they fixed them and made sure everything worked. I felt like my safety while driving was their number one concern. Not to mention I got a great deal on an outstanding truck in impeccable condition and very low miles. I really had a great experience with Auto World. I was keeping my eyes open for a new car, and I saw a Toyota tundra I liked in their lot so I decided to stop by. Joe walked me around the lot and they had quite a few Tundras I found one I liked and it was really priced well. The Truck was super Clean and in great working order. I decided to buy it and the process was very quick and easy. Since I wasn't planning on buying a car or trading mine in, I needed to go home for the pink slip and when I came back, they had all of the paperwork ready for signing, got me a lower rate on the financing, and gave me a very good price on a 100,000 mile power train warranty. This was by far the simplest car buying transaction that I have ever been a part of . They price the vehicles well so there is not much room for negotiation so its kind of like CarMax no haggle pricing. Even still they did work on the price a bit for me. I took the truck to my mechanic and he said it looked great and he had no concerns at all just as the guys at Auto World had told me. The icing on the cake for me was a display of their integrity. Apparently I over paid on the Registration, so they sent me a check for $51 with the completed registration. I would have probably never realized that I was owed back that money, but the guys at Auto World took care of it and sent the check right up front. read more

In under 2 months of pulling this vehicle off Auto World's lot I found myself broke down with a busted fuel pump which they told me to take it to their mechanic and would cover half the expense due to it being a pre existing issue. GREAT! Unfortunately their mechanic loses my back seat in process of repair WHAT!! Yah than they replace the back seat with one straight out of the junk yard (stains, glass from wreckage still in the cracks and crevices). After picking my vehicle up from their mechanics, 24 hours later check engine light comes on. I sit hear now on Christmas day with a dead vehicle wont start or turn over. I have already spent $300 in mechanic fees from previous incident $150 in towing fees and now Lord only knows what the price damage will be tomorrow when I have this car towed to a mechanic. All in all less than 3 months of having this vehicle and i am on my second trip to the mechanics and with a un original back seat. #lemon read more

Got there pretty late on Monday, but we're suprised at the energy and exceptional service we got coffee and goodies of course and smiles. All the cars online were there and looked awesome, test drove 3 cars two Benz and one Audi all ran well and sounded smooth. My dad went with me since I had no clue about cars but thankfully Bobby was there to answer our questions. You can tell he knew about the business and the cars and what we were looking for. Auto World displays abysmal business ethics and quite honestly, are a maladroit dealership who are unable to perform car sales at a satisfactory level. This place is a small time auto dealership and that's exactly the kind of service you can come to expect. I would highly recommend going with a big dealership if you are looking to purchase a new/used car, the difference in quality of service and overall efficiency is night and day. My girlfriend and I were enthused when our car salesman, Jackson, informed us that he had submitted all of the necessary documentation to the banks and my girlfriend had been approved for a car loan! Unfortunately, this was not the case. The banks hadn't approved anything and for the next month, my girlfriend was the one left with the responsibility of coordinating all of the prerequisites with the bank because Auto World was too inept to handle these tasks themselves. It appears their business model is, "give the car to the customer as fast as possible and let them clean up the mess with the bank." To put things into perspective, my girlfriend has a busy career as an office manager, three children, and really doesn't have the time to be doing additional work that should have been conducted by the dealer! About a month after receiving the car and numerous hours of bank correspondence later, we received an email from the Auto World owner, Mostafa, that the car must be returned within 24 hours. Due to our great concern, we reached out to Jackson on the phone. He informed us that this wasn't the case and that he had no idea what we were talking about. Jackson gave us his word that he would check with the owner regarding this issue and get back to us immediately; he didn't. When we called Jackson the next morning for an explanation, he ignored the fact that he never returned our call and simply said we had to return the car because of an issue with the bank. We complied. My girlfriend and I returned the car to Auto World, and headed straight to a Kia dealership in Santa Ana. The KIA dealership got us a loan, bought the loan from the bank on the same day, handled all of the necessary documentation, and my girlfriend has been happy with her new car ever since. The point I want to stress to all of you potential buyers is though the car you are looking to purchase from Auto World may appear to be a diamond in the rough, you are better suited seeking business from a large dealership. The level of service these larger dealerships provide is immensely superior. Thanks for the waste of time Auto World, without it, we wouldn't have found a 2013 KIA at the same price as the 2002 Toyota you sold us. read more

Let me first off by saying that this place sucks! I don't know what the raving reviews are. I told the dealer prior to an application that I had NO credit history, I have only 6 months on the job, etc. He tells me to apply and call tomorrow. I called in 3 times and all three times them telling me they will review and call me back. I finally call a fourth time and the guy tells me you don't qualify for one having no history, only six months job... I tell him are you kidding me? Why would I want to have a hard inquiry after asking all these questions? He tells it won't affect your credit. LOL. The guy is a complete con. And I told him I went to honda and mitsu both approved me for new cars for MUCH CHEAPER INTEREST AND LOW DOWN. He told me he use to work for honda and they wont. And I have a friend who works for honda who's seen my credit and is already approving me. He then tells me good luck with that, lol. The guy was talking over me and being a total asshole. It has been to mechanic for regular oil changes and at one time there was an issue with the control arms. Since I purchased an extended warranty, it was all covered except my $100 deductible. Where to begin? I purchased a truck and noticed the next day one of the Lugnuts on the front tire were missing as well as the truck had a transmission leak. When I took the truck back they were absolutely sure the truck did not leave the lot with the leak or a missing lug nut. They even went as far as to show me a surveillance tape of the tire shop showing the Lugnuts on the tire, but the problem was the surveillance was on the rear of the truck not the front. I felt like they were blaming me for their issues. I asked the mechanic to look at the truck to see if there was a leak and he said he didn't see a leak. When I got home I checked myself and there was a very noticeable leak. FYI - They did give me the Lugnut, but I will be taking the truck to my mechanic to fix the transmission leak. read more
