I needed to use the ATM to thin out my wallet of the small bills. Too many ones and fives! Who knew…read morethat these machines or the credit union themselves were so picky! The machine rejected some of the bills. Unsure why. Possibly the scanner couldn't read an imperfect bill. A bit annoyed to say the least. I didn't have the time to iron these bills flat and perfect so the machine can recognize the denomination. I was able to deposit most of the wad of the 30 small bills. It's a nice location in the Westridge shopping center next to Wescom Credit Union and Lane Bryant.

I visited the Chase Bank in La Habra and asked the banker for new, crisp $100 bills. This explanation didn't make sense, especially because my husband was able to exchange for new $100 bills at another Chase branch just last month during a business trip. When I pointed this out, the banker suddenly turned to a colleague and asked if they had any -- and then gave me the new bills. It turns out they did have them all along. I understand that due to graduation season, availability might be limited. But what truly frustrated me was not the lack of crisp bills -- it was the lack of honesty and transparency from the start. Instead of simply explaining the situation or checking with a colleague, I was given what felt like a made-up excuse. Only after I pressed the issue did they take action. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, especially from a bank like Chase. As a long-time customer, I expect straightforward and respectful treatment -- not evasiveness and misleading information. Chase needs to do better.

Long story short- He helped add me onto my husbands account and noticed that there was a returned check from the SchoolsFirst from my work with my name on it. I hadn't been added to my husbands account yet so out of caution the bank returned my direct deposit to my work.
