A few years ago, I had a problem with my car & had to get it towed to a shop my family & I used to get our repairs done. On my way there, the Tow truck guy asked me what was wrong with my car & how much the mechanic was charging me to do the work for me. I told him & he said that I was being over-charged explaining how much the parts usually cost & what I should be paying with the labor included. He highly recommended me to Ed @ Auto Trinity. I took my car that same day & let's just say that it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Although, I heard about Auto Trinity via word of mouth the reviews on here are right on point with the exception of the one star rating review. I've been going to Auto Trinity since it was located in Burbank & still going now that it's in Glendale. I wouldn't go elsewhere. Ed has earned a loyal customer in me. He is trustworthy, genuine, humble, hard working, funny, professional & super nice. Not to mention, he knows his stuff. He studied/trained out in Germany & has worked for VW & Audi for years. I simply can't say enough but I will go on to say that when I first met him, he had me at "Hello". He's a total sweetheart by nature & I think it's just one of the many reasons his customers love him. Especially when you're dealing with the stress of having to fix your car but not knowing how expensive it will be. Well, you don't have to worry about him trying to rip you off. He is reasonable which is why, I've boasted about him to my family & friends who like him just as much as I do. I'm just grateful that there are still some good & honest people out there like Ed who lead their business with integrity. You'll see for yourself how great he is & once you do, don't forget to get on yelp to write your own review. I'm not one to take the time out of my day to write reviews on people unless it's been a horrible experience or beyond outstanding. Auto Trinity was definitely worth taking the time writing a review for. Lastly, just a little side note... Not so long ago as my children & I were leaving Ed's shop, one of my boys noticed the following embroidery on the back of Ed's work shirt: "John 3:16". Well this place deserves all 5 stars that they get if not more. Right off the bat, meeting Ed didn't seem like meeting him for the first time, almost as if you've been friends for a while. Even talking to him on the phone was great. I knew in their line of business they're always busy but when I first spoke to him on the phone, he wasn't't rushing & very accommodating with my inquiries. I needed a good mechanic here in Glendale, somebody who's trustworthy & I think I found it. Got my car fixed at a reasonable price & the service is spectacular. He diagnosed an issue with my car and quickly pointed out that it may still fall under an extended warranty (which had just expired). Ed urged me to contact Toyota North America directly. I've been taking my car to different mechanics my entire car owning life, but my search finally ends here! Ed makes you feel so comfortable, safe, and taken care of. His prices are reasonable and once you go to Ed, you won't need to go to anyone else, he does everything. As a stereotypical girl, I know NOTHING about cars. I abuse it without knowing I am and never know when something needs to be fixed unless it's extremely obvious. I got introduced to Auto Trinity and as beat up as my car was, they did an amazing job dragging out its life span, and reviving it to be a better and safer running vehicle. They don't sugar coat or fluff anything nor do they try to sell you anything you don't need. Even though I have since left my job in Glendale, I still come back (from WeHo!) even though the distance and traffic is a little cray. I love Auto Trinity! I'm so glad I found Ed. I would not trust anyone else with my 2004 Toyota Tundra. After several other mechanics "fixed" the brakes and other problems, I was still having issues. I took the truck to Auto Trinity and Ed diagnosed the problems and fixed them quickly and for a good price. He even went above and beyond and installed some special heavy-duty O-rings and other accessories I wanted that made my truck the perfect camper/bike hauler. Now the truck runs like a champ! Called this place up and received a very friendly greeting and the go ahead to come on by (had to get my back tail light replaced). When I got there, he (Ed, I believe?) had a smile on his face despite the heat and got me taken care of within 15 mins - free of charge! I called in asking for a quote on a 40K mile service for my VW GTI and Ed answered the phone. He explained what needed to be replaced, and gave me a lower price than any other shop. I set up an appointment with Ed over the phone. Appointment time came and Ed welcomed me in, explained what would need to be done to the car, and got working on it right after I gave the OK. He let me wait in their newly remodeled waiting room while my car was on the jack. He kept checking in with me every once in a while to make sure I was doing alright. The service was fast and friendly. I even got a chance to chat with him about tuning my car. He gave me the name of a company, which I completely forgot, and explained the pros and cons between two different tuning companies. Came here twice. Both good experiences. Ed owns the shop and there's one other mechanic on site. I had them install coilovers on my Acura and it was half the cost of the other shop I called. Ed did the install with no issues. Fast forward three months - one of my struts on the same coilover is blown and I first go to my building's fix-car now shop to see how much it would cost (for my own convenience). They quote my $250 which is actually significantly more than it cost Ed to install all four of my coilovers to begin with. So I go back to Ed and he installs it in 45 minutes. I won't mention how much he charged me, but I will say that I told him he wasn't charging me enough so I had him increase a little. Pros: Ed is a good guy and they do quick, quality work at super low prices The shop is clean Cons: The place is small (two lifts) so it can get busy. I would call ahead. read more

So happy I went here after almost getting ripped off at another place. The first Lady I went to said I might need my brakes fixed and it would come out to 200$ or more. Ed...... Ed.... Ed..... where do I begin. I suppose it should be with mentioning this is my FIRST yelp review I have ever written, even after all these years of using the site. After my experience with Ed there was no way I could not sing his praises to the world of yelp. I just moved to Los Angeles from Chicago and was in desperate need of a trustworthy mechanic that could fix and explain why my car's temperature gauge was acting abnormally. What looked to be a simple fix, turned out to be much more complex than either Ed or I thought. This man, Ed, a mechanic genius, took on my car as his own personal project and devoted all of his free time to finding the problem; even working much later than the shop hours. He kept me updated on all of his findings and what his next moves were to fix this problem. After countless hours of hard work Ed found the problem, fixed it and if that wasn't enough, he cut me such a good deal it made me blush. As if he didn't already make me feel like a VIP client he then went above and beyond by cleaning my car to pristine condition. When all was said and done it felt like I got a brand new car. I am so lucky to have found my LA mechanic on one try. So glad I found out about this place because it is pretty damn awesome!!! My car was making some strange noises, so my friend recommended I go to Ed at Auto Trinity and I'm so glad I did. I dropped my car off in the morning and needed to head out to work and Ed accommodated to all my needs and actually listened to my complaints about the vehicle, so from there on I already got a really good vibe from him. I am glad I found Auto trinity for my car. Once warranty expired, I had to spend a lot of money for maintenance for my car. This is an honest place. My VW cc broke down and I towed it to dealership's service department. I was quoted an outrageous price that felt suspicious! Towed to Trinity Auto and had it fixed next day for half the price. Trinity will tell you what's specifically wrong with your car and explain the costs. Ed has started taking care of all my vehicles and I just drop the car off, hand him the keys and pick it up when its ready. My car axles, from what another shop had advised me to change, and when I took it to Ed for the first time, he told me my axles are good and all I need is the boot changed and I'll be good for another couple of years.
