I wanted to install PPF on my new 2024 Prius because it's low to the ground and will definitely get road rash on the front end as well as door chips/dings on the doors. He sent me a quote and I decided to go with Auto Trim Hawaii because they use XPEL PPF and had great reviews on Yelp. I mentioned to Sean I was going on a trip in a few weeks and it would be great if I could schedule my PPF Installation during that time since it would take around a week to do the entire car. Sean was able to move around a previous appointment and accommodate my request! Auto Trim Hawaii did a great job on my car and I was extremely happy with the results! They have 2 great installers (along with Sean) who take pride in their work and are meticulous with the installation. Sean even asked me to bring the car back in a couple of weeks so they could do an inspection of the PPF and correct any imperfections that might arise after the initial installation. I took my car back a few weeks later and the 2 installers came out and went over my entire car and corrected any imperfections that they found. This is the second vehicle that I had full PPF applied to. Auto Trim also did my window tinting (took delivery and came here straight from the dealer) and I'm amazed at the difference it makes. With the multi-layer ceramic film, the vehicle will literally cool down in two minutes once the A/C is turned on, even after sitting in the sun for 10 hours. Cool and comfortable before I even pull out of the parking lot driveway. Sean also has the patience of a saint and will work to make sure you are satisfied with the job. Wanted to add pizzaz to my '17 mazda 3 GT hatchback (white), and thought of wanting the rooftop vinyl wrapped in black for a great color contrast. Then I went onto YouTube to see the differences between brands and sheen, and decided on Avery Satin Black. I orginally sent my inquiry to this company and another, but as that company didn't have the time (even up to now as I write this review) to respond back to my inquiry...i went with ATH. I went there Monday, March 15th at 9am as Sean had set the appointment for that time... I was there a few minutes before 9am, but was warmly met by another Sean/Shaun? that was working on another vehicle. He told me it'd take about two hours to complete, and I had to find a way to kill time as there was no place to wait in the shop due to covid-19 reasons, so I walked next door to City Square... killed time standing up and walking into the market that had so many vendors, but geez, I wanted to sit down...ain't young no more... Now as I was leaning on one of the vertical columns directly outside this store, I saw a few people sitting down in the middle of the parking lot...like what were they sitting on ? as vehicles surrounded this area. So I walked over aznd saw that there were eight (8) mini- wooden picnic tables scattered within this blocked off area from vehicles. What a relief to sit down ! As it was a few minutes to 11am, I walked back to the shop, and received a call about 11:01am from Sean the owner to let me know that my car was done. Upon getting up to the top level (elevator only took people up to the second floor, and one would have to walk up the flight of stairs to the top level (3rd floor), I saw my car...Ohh baby...what a beaut ! Went over the wrap talking to Sean before we headed over to pay the invoice. It just looks so elegant with the black wrap on the rooftop...the workmanship was stunning... No, I didn't have the sharkfin wrapped (though I had thought about it as I saw a YouTube video of one same vehicle that was wrapped in black). Besides costing an additional amount, I figured I'd let it be left stock (white) for a great contrast....and I was right... there's no need for me to wrap the sharkfin antenna in black ! The factory Stratosphere blue paint was already beautiful, now it's gorgeously deeper with protection.
