I know they are similar, but they're different enough that I felt I'd rather go with someone who does homes only * Steve was very fast to respond and was able to give me a quote on the spot based on the size and choosing ceramic, versus other companies who insisted they needed to do a field estimate, and another who just gave me standard prices for cars even though I was clearly asking about houses. Steve was able to schedule me an appointment within a week, showed up, had appropriate ladders for our staircase and windows, and he was able to complete everything in under 2 hours. I was able to schedule an appointment fast and easy, and the second I walked in, Jeremiah and his team treated me like I was a good friend. Everyone was so professional and friendly, and he took his time to explain to me each option in detail, and the pros and cons of each package. He also helped me choose exactly how dark I wanted my tint to be, making suggestions when I was unsure. I ended up picking their premium option and I couldn't be happier. Before, getting into my car after a long day at work felt like I was getting into a sauna running at full blast, and driving on sunny days made me feel like I was cooking alive in my car (the UV protection is also a godsend--I'm very pale and burn so easily), even with the AC blasting. Now, it's so much cooler getting in, and it also cools down MUCH faster as well, making summer driving way more bearable. The appointment didn't even take long at all. I dropped my car off, went out for brunch nearby, and it was done right as I was finishing up my meal, and I am NOT a slow eater. When I picked up my car, Jeremiah explained the aftercare process to me very simply and concisely, which was very easy to follow, and I was provided an aftercare package! A guarantee like this is only good if the company…read morethat offers it is still around years down the line when you need to make a claim, and no-one has been around longer than T&T. When the tint finally started peeling on my car that I had tinted by them when I bought it brand new 20 years ago, I wondered how easy it would be to have it replaced under warranty. As it turns out, T&T makes it extremely easy. The original location I had the car tinted at was in Salt Lake, and it was so long ago it is no longer there. What used to be a Costco is now a Target. So I went to the airport location where I've already had them do two other cars for me since. I figured I'd drop by with the car and have them take a look at it. It didn't take long to book an appointment to bring the car back, and I was happy to hear that they wanted to replace the tint on the entire car even though it had failed on just one side window and the rear. With recent changes to vehicle tinting laws here in Hawaii this year, I was also happy to learn that they offered an option to go darker in the rear of the vehicle for a small reasonable upcharge. I took advantage of that and the opportunity to do the front windshield with their clear Air 80 film, something that wasn't offered back then when I had the car originally done, but I've had installed on my other cars since and really appreciate. A week later I brought the car back in and they had the job done in a few hours. The installers were meticulous and everything was done perfectly. They took particular care to take their time with peeling the rear window tint off and not damage the defroster lines. My car looks fantastic and driving the car with the windshield tint now is great. The story doesn't end here though because on a whim I asked about my girlfriend's car which we had purchased on the used market, and noticed that had also been tinted by T&T by the owner back in 2010 but had begun to fail. No problem, even though we were second owners, T&T came through and booked us an appointment to replace the entire tint on that car too! I took the opportunity to upgrade the rear tint on that vehicle as well and a few weeks later we were back and they did the same fantastic job for us on that car as well. Both cars now have brand new tint jobs, and Lifetime Warranties still intact for the future. Your staff here at T&T from the front office to installers are all fantastic and took such good care of us, and I'm sure will be the reason why you'll be around for the next 20 years or more. While I was there and waited for someone to serve me, they tool awhile because they had lost a customer's order and couldn't find it in their shop. When I told him I just need the copies, he insisted on stalking them and couldn't be convinced just to give me the copies. He wanted to do the entire job himself, and did it anyway despite my insisting I wanted to put the project together myself. Then he charged me 4 times the first time he said my book would cost. He also took a very long time and made several mistakes before he finally got it right. I asked to use the copy machine when I first walked in and he ignored me to look for the customer's lost order. They still hadn't found it when I left an hour and a half later without what I asked for. A day after posting this review I got a phone call from aloha graphics. I did not give my phone number to them. Why did he call me? How did he get my phone number? That is to put me on notice that they read this review and are letting me know they can find me wherever I am. Be aware, this is not your ordinary businessman. These guys go above and beyond. I had to call the police to report stalking by this company as by law I can leave a review to warn others about this company. I will not be intimidated by anyone!

I've always been skeptical when it came to people touching my car. I'm an owner of a 2013 Dodge Dart and I've been searching for the last two years of trust worthy people who know how to put racing stripes on. When I contacted Auto Trim Hawaii, I received a phone call maybe 10 minutes later from Sean J. He was very helpful and very professional. I told him what I wanted and he delivered! When the time came to put the stripes on, it took roughly 2 - 2 1/2 hours. BUT, his dedication and precision are what I admired the most! Every single detail, ensuring the lines matched, making sure that nothing was uneven. I respect the quality of his work and I intend to bring my car back in the upcoming weeks to have my windows tinted and a spoiler attached. My husband and I are so glad we decided to do our Bed Liner through Auto Trim Hawaii! We got excellent customer service by the employees who work there and they did an AMAZING job with top quality products. The Liner is thick, durable and sturdy. We had a few deep scratches on the bed of our 2015 Silverado, but with the thick protection of Bullet Liner they disappeared and we won't need to worry about the bed rusting. We even got great recommendations on how to prevent damage to Liner within the first week of install. The quality of work and service that you get for the price you pay is TOTALLY worth it! I met Sean after looking around all the easy to find auto detail places. He was quick, precise, and honest. They did my truck the day they said they would do it and it looks great. Five stars for Auto Trim Hawaii and Sean Jones the owner. Sean recently put Nano Fusion paint armor on the full hood and all frontally exposed metal of my new Tesla Model S. This carries a lifetime warranty since he is a licensed installer. He also covered a couple chrome strips with black matte wrap. Sean did an exceptional job, truly first rate. Also his price was excellent compared to the factory installed paint armor which does not cover the entire hood. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop for anyone considering paint armor or wrapping. read more

Just purchased 2012 VW Beetle, jet black and needed a rear spoiler to complete the perfect look. I purchased an after market spoiler and needed someone to install it. Finding the place was fairly easy. I went in and met with Kyle and he was able to remove and reapply my legal ceramic tint on the four door windows and rear back windshield. There is a waiting area and Kyle and I shared some good conversation while I waited! He really took his time when applying my tint and you can tell he enjoys what he does. This guy deserves a raise! The cost was fair and affordable compared to other shops that provided me with quotes. They also offer a lifetime warranty on their tint, which is a great benefit! I researched places to go and T&T had wonderful reviews, plus their Kaka'ako shop is convenient for drop off and pickup. I originally called after seeing their prices online, and the employee on the phone was very friendly and helpful talking me through the options, figuring out a price in advance and scheduling the appointment. I had to move it once, and that was a breeze too. On appointment day, they open the big door and you drive in. The associate at the counter had all the paperwork ready, a walk through of general condition is done, risks explained, and on I went about my day. It was finished way ahead of the quoted time, I picked it up and paid which was also easy. They do other types of service like exterior wraps, and interior covers, which we didn't use. All the care instructions are gone over; you can't use the windows for two days and it can take up to a month for it to all completely dry. Any issues that don't resolve within 30 days, you can bring it back for free to be corrected. I would definitely use them again, but hopefully this new tinting will last for the life of the car.

He at no time try to upsell me. He showed me the various tints and the sun's effect, which I really appreciated. I ended going with his recommendation and glad I did. The workmanship in removing the old tint and replacement was excellent. They treated my 20 + year old car as if it was theirs. The job time was faster than I expected, just four hours. The location is great near Cutter Ford. Lots of eating places in the area and close to the bus line should you want to leave the area and even Pearlridge Shopping Center. The prices are very reasonable, and they give a $50.00 discount if they remove and replace the tint at the same time. I would highly recommend Al's tinting to anyone wanting to tint their vehicle windows..

He quoted me $80 for tint removal which I had an illegal tint, which did not pass inspection. He took approximately 2 hrs to remove it. But then I decided since I was there, I better tint the whole car with legal tint. He was going charge me $300 bucks for everything, but then up the price cause I used credit card, to $320, plus tax... came out $335.18...at first I gave him rave reviews. But the next day, I found out my car antenna got ripped apart, mind you, it was storming that day, and I just went home afterwards and parked in my garage. It's a new car, and was never broken to begin with.... I would not recommend him to anyone... sorry Alan.

I contacted several companies about a cracked floor-to-ceiling condo window measuring approximately 50" x 86", and Tint Factory LLC was the only company willing to help. While other companies were hesitant because the glass was already cracked, they quickly provided a practical solution using security film. Communication was excellent from start to finish. They responded promptly, provided a fair quote, scheduled the work quickly, and kept me updated throughout the process. Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. He took the time to explain the process and completed the installation with great care. The finished product exceeded my expectations. The security film is virtually invisible, the view is crystal clear, and I have peace of mind knowing the cracked window is reinforced and much safer.
