He called me back in just a few minutes and I told him that I needed ceramic tint because of the intense heat being generated through my windows. He asked me how many windows I had and at 10 he said he would be out to measure the windows. I have a 10ft horizontal window behind my counter in the kitchen, it got so hot (it's a West facing window) that I couldn't stand the heat while trying to make dinner. Steve did a great job! He did a free inspection the first week of January 2023. My objective was to tint my living room and a high window in my kitchen that caused a lot of glare and heat. Steve just did our entire house and can't wait to feel the difference! We get some major heat with the morning and afternoon sun. He used a heat device to show me how much heat was coming in, then put the tint sample up, heat decreased tremendously! We are also surrounded by other houses that can see right in. In this day and age one can never be too cautious. After a person came into our private garage area a couple times and took things from us as well as our neighbors, we were worried about someone breaking into our place especially the front entry area as they could just break the glass and open the door. After speaking to Steve about a couple different options to at least slow a person down if they were to try and break in we decided on the 4mm thick security film. Steve came right when he said he would, and was professional from start to finish. He brought towels to wipe up and catch the tint solution so it wouldn't get all over the place and took all his trash with him. Steve did a great job tinting my windows! He was quick and left no mess! I didn't even have to take down my blinds. The tint/film is going to reject 80% of the Heat, and 86% of the glare, and 99% of the UV light...making it much more comfortable especially in the summer and I'm pretty sure will help not fade my furniture/rugs. Also I noticed it keeps out annoying street lights out during the night which always had bugged me. Also, in the unlikely event that those windows ever break the film will hold the majority of the glass together, keeping it from shattering into the room injuring anybody inside. I recently purchase a townhouse that had an irregular picture window. What I didn't realize is that It was blazing hot in the afternoon and I needed to do something to reduce the amount of heat coming in. He installed the ceramic tint know as CX-35 on two double sliding glass windows and on 5 additional windows (including 2 ea irregular high reach windows requiring a ladder). The price quoted per/sf came within the range of prices I surveyed on the internet (mainland prices) and his stellar recommendations from Yelp convinced me that I should go with ReadyMan. Steve is a one man operation that performs his work like it is very easy, kind of like a concert pianist makes playing a piano look easy (neither are, but expertise is what I saw while he was working).
