I come here to buy brakes and rotors. I have purchased a belt and a mount for my engine. No problems . There's usually a line but thats fine. I never have any problems with this place. People just rate low because they buy something for their cheap *** old car and act surprised when it doesn't work. It's rare when you call this place and they pick up. I call and they just let it ring sometimes. I show up and theirs so many employees and some are just sitting in the back next to the phone. But other than that , they have great prices. read more

Heard about this place from a couple of my friends who are mechanics and they often buy car parts here at this place. I never thought I would need to buy a part for my car and now that I had to, I decided to come to this place. Let me tell you from the start the line was big and when there is a big line and lots of people it's for two reasons, 1) great prices and 2) good quality. I have been buying from Autotech for about 8 years now and have been satisfied with their excellent customer service since my first purchase. The parts they sell are affordable and work great and the warranty process is really easy with no hassles. They have long lines because everyone shops there so i suggest ordering online so that when you get there you won't have to wait. I have bought radiators, brakes, speed sensors, rotors, brake components, shocks, springs, radiator components and a long list of other parts. I use to shop at pep-boys,auto zone, and orileys but 80% of the time those guys don't know what the heck they are talking about and don't want to help and the prices for their parts are always 75% higher then at autotech and for the same part. Do you shopping at autotech and you will not be disappointed. read more

Prices are extremely reasonable and service is good albeit a bit slow. But that's only because they're answering questions and taking time to get the order right. Ordering online as suggested might help if you know exactly what you want. But many items have several options and it's nice to talk to them about it. Only odd thing is I asked for a quote, which I got via the Yelp app, but then it was erased. So I couldn't compare anything with what I wound up purchasing. WARNING: Place sells cheap parts that can be defective before you even purchase it! I bought an Ignition Distributor where the pins were already cracked and broken! The mechanism did not spin either so the whole unit was already defective from the beginning. Not only did they deny me a refund, they blamed me for breaking it saying you broke it. "Mark" said he was the store owner, but his confirmation through an online order was named after "Casey." So I'm thinking he lied about his name so he can't be written down for a complaint. But that's not the point either way, customer service was terrible, slow lines (he was sluggish and not moving fast to get rid of the huge line either), and they sold me a broken distributor for $125. Talk about a scam. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT FAKE CHEAP PARTS (NO NAME BRAND, NO WARRANTY, NO REFUNDS, NO SERVICES!) I took my chances on cheaping out; never again. read more

Ever since they remodeled the shop, the line seems to flow faster. Can't complain about the price because they are the lowest for good quality parts and tools. Parking sometime is a drag but just have to be there at the right time and not during rush hour. I would of given 5 stars but I rather go pay a little more for better customer service elsewhere, this worker who takes my cash looks like he doesn't like his job and don't want to be there. I know plenty of people who give anything for their job, appreciate being there, and giving better customer service. Hey, if you don't like your job, go find work somewhere else that you will make you happy. Why torture yourself by not wanting to be there and taking it out on the customers. read more

I've been coming here for 3 years and always a bad experience. If you buy online it takes the same time as waiting in line only because they don't have a dedicated person to take returns and online orders. Expect to wait more than an hour for anything and always get attitude from the clerks that seem like they hate their jobs. I waited 40 mins to get told my core couldn't be returned and also got skipped in line because the clerk wanted to take the other people in line, the same line I had been waiting for longer than them and he had the audacity to demand me to wait when told I him no, and set the core on the table he pushed it back and I then waited for the next clerk another 15 mins to get told my core wasn't returnable which was fine but the service was not. WILL NOT BE RETURNING, and will advise all others to spend a bit more money elsewhere read more

I put a 1 star because they don't have a 0. We went over their at first because it was cheap. Also, we live in Ontario, CA and went to Baldwin Park, just to go to that store. We went to buy an Alternator for our 1998 Toyota Rav 4. When we got their, their was a line in the store. As we are up to order. The employee told us that this product has a 1 year Warranty, BUT THATS A BUNCH OF LIES!!! We got back home and installed the alternator to the car and it didn't work. My dad took to his one of his buddies to check what's wrong and where he bought it, his buddy told him that that place out FAKES!!! My dad's mechanic had experience from that store and never returned back. Everything they have is used and they re-paint all their products and sell it like it was new. My dad found out in his receipt that he can't get a refund from his product but the employee says he can. So we don't know now. My dad contacted them at 8:30 in the morning, when they open at 8am. They never answered, they left my dad on hold for 30 minutes and never answered. So everyone. Don't go their. It's a trap and they lie to you. BEWARE!!! read more

Great prices from this place for autoparts but sometimes the lines can get a bit hectic but for the amount you will be saving its worth it for the most part compared to autozone or Oreillys and others. Sometimes it might be worth calling autozone or your other parts store and getting prices on what you are looking for, sometimes prices can be the same as here but the lines are shorter at autozone and with the AC on it might be better to be there than stand on the sun so I will leave that up to you lol read more

I'd give them no stars if I could. I tried to return a part that was defected and all they told me was that it was my fault. They will not return. The only option was to send it back to the manufacturer and have them review it which will take a few weeks. This is horrible customer service. They sell cheap Chinese parts and act like they never have defects. Don't shop here and tell your local mechanics you don't want parts from this place because they are not guaranteed and will just hassle you. I'd understand this if it was an electrical part. Plus they have horrible attitudes. read more

I come here for my auto parts all the time, cheap prices for everything. But today I came to return some valve cover gaskets all the way from Lakewood to have this guys tell me that I can't return my item because it was an open box, I show him my receipt, he refuse to give me my refund. He said to look at the box and read it (being rude). And Repeated that once the box is open I couldn't return, I told him That I had my receipt, he said look at the box again, At this point I was pissed, who looks at the box to see if it says if you open it you can't return it, what is this? I've never had this problem no where on returning open items, The / gaskets that I was trying to return where in perfect condition inside the box! This warehouse's return policy is a joke, who looks at the box! They could of mention that when I payed for my shit! Its sad how I have to give 1 star, I would put zero, making me drive all the way to baldwin park..where they refused to give me a refund or exchange or store credit, waist of time! read more

I wish yelp allowed me to give negative stars, because of how much this place sucks ass now. I have been going to autotech for the better part of a decade buying parts for 5 different cars in that time span. Every time i went, the employees were always so helpful and took the time to make sure i got the right part and were so kind and courteous that i didn't even mind that the parts weren't brand new (it also helped that they are inexpensive and fit nicely into my budget). However, about a few months ago i began to notice a decline in the quality of their customer service. At one point my truck had broken down and I had to take a bus an hour and a half one way to buy a new egr valve. It wasn't until halfway through the return trip on the bus that i realized it was sold the wrong part. So I had to get off the damn bus and take another one back to autotech again. After talking to the guy, he said he gave me that part because he didn't hear the specifics of my car. can you freaking believe that? WHO does that? WHY would you sell a part to someone when you didn't flipping hear what kind of car the person has? (Avoid the guy all the way to the right of the counter that stands behind the display of the shocks and breaks. this wasn't the first time this guy has done something stupid like this.) So now we come to today. I bought a fuel pump and assembly for an explorer and took it to my mechanic to install. turns out there was a piece missing from the part. because the information that was relayed to me about what was missing was told to me second hand, i didn't really understand exactly which piece was missing. So when i took the part to autotech, the guy standing next to the guy that was helping me started giving me crazy bad attitude, i mean ridiculously rude and belligerent comments. It had been my understanding that the assembly was missing a sensor on the floater arm, but the guy didn't want to hear it. He kept very rudely insisting that i was wrong and straight out telling me that I need a new mechanic because there was nothing wrong with the piece. when the actual guy that was helping me brought an alternate piece to compare, the guy talked a lot of shit about how he was right. When i tried to ask the rude guy a follow up question he blatantly talked over me to move onto another customer leaving me there looking like an idiot. After going directly to my mechanic, I find out what was missing was actually the little floater at the end of the arm and not a sensor. So on my second trip (in the same day) to autotech, I tried to light heartedly joke about coming back with the actual problem and the rude guy was not having it. I could see him rolling his eyes and making faces. I talk to the original cashier and show him the problem, comparing the new assembly to the assembly my mechanic had just pulled from the explorer's gas tank. The rude guy made a few comments then basically excused himself from the entire situation and would not look or speak to me for the rest of my visit. My cashier goes to the back and disappears for a good 20 minutes only to tell me that the piece they sold me had marks on it indicating that it had been in another car and was marked with ford stickers which meant that it was not something they should have sold. It was at this point that he began to speak in "legal-ese" and informed me that I would not be getting my money back unless they got their money back. I could not believe what i was hearing. I was standing there with my original part and 1 day old part receipt and the guy was telling me they were both keeping the new part and my money because they sold me something that shouldn't have been sold. Am I the only that thinks that's insane? I feel like i'm in a twilight zone episode and i'm the only one without a pig face. It was at this point that i had had enough. Never have i been treated so extraordinarily badly at a retail store, let alone autotech. Just because someone isn't a professional mechanic, that doesn't mean you can treat them like crap for not knowing every bit of minutia that you probably learned over years of school/training and/or decades of experience. And to the bald guy with a beard that was so ridiculously rude to not just me, but every customer who had to deal with you, get over yourself ass hole and thanks for thoroughly demonstrating the concept of "you get what you pay for." Autotech has lost my decade long business, and I will no longer recommend it to anyone. DO NOT SHOP HERE, THE PRICE SAVINGS IS NOT WORTH IT read more

A friend recommended this auto part warehouse to me and I've gone here twice with great satisfaction. Just a reminder to always keep your receipts in a safe place because they do offer lifetime warranty on any parts you purchase. One downside is customer service. The people that are usually working the front counter seem like they don't enjoy working there and get annoyed very easily. I understand since it was pretty busy the times I've gone and the type of people they had to deal with especially since it was early in the morning. Another downside is parking. It's just small. They should find another location to open up the warehouse since they're mostly busy and have flooded parking all the time. I've purchased wheel bearings, wheel hubs, bushings, brake pads, rotors. It's almost been a year since I've been running with their product and I relatively drive like a mother f*cker. For being cheap, these parts hold up very nicely. Just keep in mind, there are some parts that you shouldn't cheap on. These are just temporary cheap but good standrd parts to keep the car running in shape until I have enough mula to spend on quality parts. Overall, this place is alright. I would cheap out on certain parts I know that shouldn't cost more than an arm or leg. However this isn't the place to go to if you're impatient, and anal about quality. I would go here just to find a TEMPORARY replacement part for my car. Moral of the review: "You get what you pay for." :) Complaints: I've had one issue with this place when I first came here. I have ordered the wrong set of brake pads for my car and wanted to return it for the correct one that fits my car. I was helped by a teenage girl with green eyes. I told her I have ordered the wrong brake pads and I have taken note that each product has a part number on them. Earlier, I found the correct part number I was suppose to purchase. So I gave her the item I wanted to refund so I can get the correct item. I told her I'm looking for this part (showed her the correct part number) and she compared both parts and told me it was the same. I was like WTF, no they're not. So I asked to purchase the correct item and went on home to install them and guess what? THEY F*CKING FIT PERFECTLY. Same parts my ass, females really don't know anything when it comes to automotive even when there's a part number on the product itself. Smh. read more

I called to verify an item was in stock. The guy over the phone confirms and tells me to purchase the item online and further explains that my husband can pick it up, in my absence, as long as he shows a picture of my Drivers license. So, I send my husband with a picture of my Drivers license (as requested) and they DO NOT let him pick it up. Why? Apparently now they want a picture of my credit card. So, I called and talked to the manager (Mark) who transfers me to some guy named Pi who assures me he'll help my husband. I send my husband back and they ask for my credit card AGAIN. Seriously, who would send ANYONE a picture of their credit card?? That's just ridiculous and asking for your information to be stolen. Had I known, I would have taken my business somewhere else. They need to explain there policies better but 3 stars for their good prices. read more

This use to be a good place to get parts even though they are fairly cheap parts which last you about a year or two or less but nonetheless they are for a good price. I know they are busier than ever now since more people know about the place but the quality of service has gone way down. I call and call and just get hung up on. So I would not recommend this place anymore unless your on a very tight budget and have time on your hand to waste an hour in line to get parts. I would rather spend a few more bucks and go to o'reillys which give you warranty on all parts. So good luck people. read more

I would definitely continue coming here as I have been for the past 4 years!!
