Shortly after getting back on the highway, my "check engine" light came back on. I was debating whether or not I should go further, but pulled off the road at the next exit, which was Mattoon. After stopping at the first auto shop, which did not do transmission work, I was referred to CIT. After getting there, they quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me several options. I had to leave my vehicle behind and come back for it later. They did excellent work, and I was extremely happy with the quality of work done, and how they helped me. Very trustworthy people. Although I live several hours away, if I needed something done with my transmission, I would consider going the distance, knowing that it would be done right.

When my husband needed an oil change, they remembered the mistake, gave him a 5 dollar credit and sent me a hand written note apologizing, who does that??! The second incident you ask? I dropped my car off on a day they were closed (as in not open and no expectation that I should receive service) so what happened? Well they know my car, and called me to ask what I needed to have done, and made arrangements to have my car repaired first thing Monday morning.
