I went to Watson's general tire on 05/01/2025 to have tires mounted and balanced. I was charged a…read morereasonable amount for the labor. After the work was complete I thought everything was fine. This was until a couple weeks later when I took my car onto the interstate and the steering wheel started violently shaking at highway speeds. Not understanding at the time that the issue could've came from the work done at Watson's, I made an appointment with my preferred Honda dealer since my vehicle is under warranty. After the dealership diagnosed the problem I learned that the issue was due to Watson's failure to properly balance my wheels and tires. Then to make matters worse the dealership also informed me that one of my tires was mounted inside out. After my business was finished with the dealership I went back to Watson's believing that with their failure a refund would be owed to me. Unfortunately they don't feel the same. They stated I should've came back to them and they would've corrected the problem at no charge. So i guess I should've known that the issue was because they failed to accurately do the job I paid them for. They offered to change my oil as a refund and stated they couldn't give me a monetary refund because the only thing I paid for was labor. Its a shame that Watson's General Tire won't hold themselves accountable and instead blamed me for taking my car to the dealership where I have a manufacture warranty. Why would I want them to change my oil? Are they going to buy me a new engine when they don't do that right? My father in law recommended Watson's to me back in 2018 when I moved to Danville and I've been going there ever since for any tire need or issue. Never again.

Manager got my truck right in , and they 'checked 'all four tires and couldn't find a leak, he said that it was just one of those things where you can't find what isn't there. I drove straight to Watson Tire , they got me right in. Watson broke down all four tires, cleaned the inside rims and replaced all four valve stems , which All Tire charged me for but were obviously not replaced. Cured my slow leak issue. I will never again do business with All Tire nor will I refer anyone and will advise EVERYONE to avoid them like the plague. Go ANYWHERE ELSE, but seriously consider Watson's

I had know Idea and was just happy to have my tire fixed. But... When my husband needed an oil change, they remembered the mistake, gave him a 5 dollar credit and sent me a hand written note apologizing, who does that??! The second incident you ask? I dropped my car off on a day they were closed (as in not open and no expectation that I should receive service) so what happened? Well they know my car, and called me to ask what I needed to have done, and made arrangements to have my car repaired first thing Monday morning. Bob Watson refuses to replace AC compressor after his wanna be mechanic damaged it while replacing alternator. Since February 2025. Bob Watson also overcharged for parts purchase at local auto parts stores which he receives a discount on through his commercial account. There are better businesses in the Danville area that are trustworthy and own up to their mistakes. ​

Rentals, auto repairs, tires, mowers, etc. They also have a plumbing company. We were in a bind because our plumber was ill and couldn't do our bath job that was in progress. Day one the plumber said he couldn't give us a price, would have to go back to his shop and work on it. During the job we asked 3 more times, and got the same response. He also informed us that if he didn't buy the parts that he couldn't guarantee his work. We should have taken that as a hint of what was to come. But this was our first remodeling job. We bought our own tub, sink etc. So all he had to buy was the pipes and all that go with that. The job was done but still no price. Finally got the bill after going out to the company, and it was too vague. All it said was Bath Remodel with a large amount due. He didn't remodel our bath, just did the pipes. I know that a breakdown for plumbers isn't common apparently, but we wanted one. My husband wasn't paying the high amount without a breakdown. After 3 more trips to their office, we finally got a breakdown. $140.00 per hour.... parts have approximately a 87% mark up to the best we can figure. Also, they charge you the fee for using a credit card. We don't recommend them neither will we use them for anything in the future. Lesson learned. Feels like a planned ripoff.. no price for the job up front or the hourly rate. All I can say good about the company was the guy at the front desk. He did what he could to help us.
