My husband and I were dreading our visit to a mechanic, for the simple fact that his truck pretty much needed EVERYTHING done. The A/C had gone out, the brakes were shot, and the truck pretty much hadn't been touched for 3 years. However, it was a necessary evil because we have a baby due next month and we need both of our cars to be in tip top shape. So, I came to Yelp to try to find someone who wouldn't rob us blind. Auto Stop came highly recommended, and now I can see why. We dropped the truck off on a Tuesday morning and were able to pick it up the very next afternoon. On top of that, Edwin called us and explained everything that had to be done and exactly how much each item would cost - so we could decide what we wanted to spend. Additionally, he was honest. The shocks needed to be replaced, a service that runs around $700 and he told us honestly that we could wait on that if we were looking to save some money. They also gave us a military discount on the labor. All in all, although we still ended up spending a lot, the prices were fair, they were quick and friendly, and it was as enjoyable as a trip to the shop can possibly be. Within a couple of hours of posting my review, Tony from Auto Stop contacted me. He apologized for my bad experience and asked me to give them a chance to make things right. He completely refunded me for the work I had done, and he arranged for me to bring my car back in to have someone take a look at it while he was there. As I posted in my first review, I have/had absolutely no issues with the customer service at Auto Stop. I was treated extremely well by Edwin when I brought my car to the shop the first few times, and by Tony when he called to rectify the situation. Regarding my complaint, Tony went above and beyond to address my concerns, and I'm extremely satisfied with the way he's handled the situation thus far. I'll be bringing my car back to Auto Stop in a couple of days, and I'll update my review after that. I'm confident that Tony and his staff will be able to correct the issue with my brakes! read more

Update: Tom at Auto Stop called me immediately and told me that the staff member's failing to explain what synthetic oil was is "not the way we do things." He offered to refund the difference between the synthetic and regular oil change. Also note, since I drive a Prius, the staff member may have assumed I wanted a fossil-free (or less fossil) option. The problem is, I'd never heard of synthetic oil before, and it costs twice as much. I'll look into synthetic oil though, because ultimately it might be a better choice. ________________ I had one pretty good experience here before but won't be going back. I went in for an oil change. The guy asked, "You want full synthetic?" the way you'd say, "You want cheese on that cheeseburger?" Well, yeah, cheese on a cheese burger is standard, right? But no, it turns out that he was not offering me the standard option in the standard option tone of voice. It turns out that "synthetic" means a $76 oil change. Whoa. Also, the waiting room is full of toxic fumes. I was pretty sick after sitting there 10 minutes and had to leave. read more

I can't believe I've never written these guys a review in the 8 years I've been coming here. But here we go, there's a reason they have over 200 reviews and it's 4 stars. I leave the last 5th star for the random anomalies. They're always always professional, patient and good at what they do. They were referred to me by my boss with stellar reviews and 8 years ago, being a new resident and being someone who knows nothing about cars, it's helpful to have professionals who will take the time to explain things to you. They tell you exactly what they are going to do, what it costs, why it costs that price and are willing to work with you. They try their hardest to try and fit you in, regardless if they're slammed with tons of customers or not and it means they may have a later day. But if they can't fit you in, they'll let you know and put you in their schedule for the next opening. I really like these guys and even if I occasionally go to other places to get an oil change, I always end up coming back to them. They do good work and they are good people. I never write reviews, for i got much better things to do, but these guy's awesome service deserves a good review. I brought my old Jeep in there to get worked on. Basically the serpentine belt broke, wrapped around the fan and caused a ton of havoc. I thought I lost my old friend, but these guys fixed it up better than it has ever run. In fact, they even fixed something for free I didn't even ask for. I had such confidence in their work that when I picked it up, I took it straight to the beach, in the pouring rain. That is a 3-4 hour drive, in traffic. I am not exaggerating, I picked up the truck on Four Mile went to 395 to 295 to 50 straight to Ocean City ( ok, maybe I stopped for gas in Cambridge). I would never do that with another place, in fact, I can confidently say, I will never take my truck anywhere else. read more

I have been using Auto Stop for some time now, and they are the only mechanic shop I trust in the DMV. They have prompt service, friendly and efficient staff, and will accomodate any concerns you may have. For example I recently left my phone in my car with them, they were able to set up a time to come pick me up from the metro station even without phone contact. When giving an estimate they are honest, straightforward, and extremely knowledgeable. I am honestly shocked at the great ratings for this place. The high ratings is what brought me to this place, and I'm sure many others as well. Sadly, it doesn't match the quality of service they provide at all. I went in to get a safety state inspection at 8:40 AM on a weekday (the place opens at 8:30 AM). I had called in advance and they said I could just come in and it would only take about 45 minutes. When I went into the office and asked how long it would take, the guy at the front desk said it would take an hour. So I sat on the seats next to the front desk and started doing some work. An hour goes by and I ask the guy if my car is ready. He said it would be a little while longer. I ended up waiting another half hour until my car was ready. The waiting part wasn't much of an issue at this point as I figured they must be busy as popular as they are based on Yelp. When the guy went to ring me up, he told me my car FAILED the inspection and I would need new brake pads and new rotors - total of over $500! He said my front brakes were at a "2" which fails the inspection, but my back brake pads were a "3" so they did not to be replaced just yet. I was surprised that I needed to replace my brakes already, because I recalled that they were replaced a little over 3 years ago. I told them I would think about it and asked them to print out the quote for me. As I walked out to my car, the mechanic who pulled my car up to the front and handed me my keys said, "Between you, me, and the fence, you should have passed the inspection." What...? Apparently, Tom's Auto Stop does not do inspections and they take it next door to another car auto shop to do the inspection. The mechanic told me that my car should have passed the inspection and he only recommended that I get new brake pads. Then he said I could do one of two things: (1) call the state police and ask them to come out to get an actual measurement of the brake pads and pass me and have the neighboring auto shop lose their license to do inspections for a while, or (2) go to a reputable place that does inspections and they will pass my car. First of all, who does business like this?? If they know that they are failing cars on purpose so that they can charge for replacing/repairing items that do not need to be replaced yet, that is completely UNETHICAL. Do these people not have a conscience?? The only person who had a conscience was the mechanic who admitted that to me - however, he did nothing to redress the situation. It somehow was my responsibility to spend time and money to find a second place who would do the job correctly and not try to rip me off. I did try calling the state police twice, but received an answering machine both times and never got a call back after leaving 2 messages. I'm thinking they know the drill and no one's license would get taken away because the state police are unreachable (that's another issue). As I was already much later than anticipated going into work, I decided to just find another place to get a second inspection and be done with it. I went back on Yelp and looked up another auto shop and decided to head over to Japanese Auto Service (3413 Wilson Blvd) to get a second inspection. It literally took 5 minutes from the time I parked my car to the time they made the assessment that I passed my safety inspection. I realized how much time I wasted going to Tom's Auto Stop. I was very disappointed, irritated, and irked by the lack of ethics or respect that Tom's has for their customers. I will never be going back, and I definitely recommend anyone looking to do a state inspection or anything else... to go elsewhere (and not the auto shop next door either). read more

Warning to other customers who think that this repair shop is honest and fair. Long story short, they're not honest or fair. I came to this repair shop after searching for honest repair shops and this place fit the bill based on Yelp reviews. I came in to get my tires aligned because my car was steering to the right. I dropped it off at 9am. 2 hours later, they call me saying I need to also do the following things: 1. Get 2 new tires 2. 4 new spark plugs 3. New air filter 4. 4 new brake pads and 2 new rotors 5. Brake fluid flush 6. Induction service 7. Transmission flush Total cost: $1,600. I was in shock. The car ran completely fine beforehand and showed no signs of those issues beforehand. Thinking that they might have caught some issues I wasn't aware of, I almost agreed to have all this work done. However, I decided to bring my car to another repair shop to have them double check it. This time, I watched them do the checks and explain to me what they were doing. They showed me how the brake fluid was in perfect condition, how the spark plugs didn't need to be changed for another 15k miles, how only 1 tire should be changed (but it still had a few k miles left), and how I didn't need to do the induction service or transmission flush yet. In short, I only needed about $600 worth of work done on my car, NOT $1,600. This repair shop tried to steal $1,000 from me for work that wasn't needed to be done on the car. Buyer beware - you have better options out than this shop. read more

This shop deserves all of the praise it's been receiving on Yelp. I do most of my auto work myself, but went to Tom for replacing the springs and struts on my 01 BMW 325xi. He was even willing to take on the job when I told him I was bringing the parts myself; most shops won't do this. I spent most of the day in the waiting room (free wireless!) and watched Tom in action, handling customer phone calls, and he should really give lessons on customer service. He said it himself: "it's all about taking care of the customer." He gives thoughtful answers to questions, always sounds relaxed and confident (despite the chaos going on in his shop), and doesn't seem the least bit inclined to squeeze a customer for more dollars. I often heard him give a couple options to customers on the phone -- the all-inclusive job or the "I'm on a budget" option. Chris worked on my car and did a stand-up job. He even took me into the shop and explained to me a couple areas that might require work in the future. All signs of a very, very good place. Highly recommended. read more

This is the worst experience that I ever had with an auto mechanic. Took my car there because of the good reviews, but I guess you can't trust the reviews too much when there were only a few especially now that I read them they sound like they were written by family and friends. When I got there, there was only one lady ahead of me, but for some reason it still took them about half an hour to get to me, quoting from the guy at the front desk after chatted away on the phone "I am so caught up with the stuff, I forgot you were here". A day later, they called me back told me they spent an hour on it and will need another three more hours to figure out what's going on, that's $400 just to figure out what the problem is, this is unheard of. Please save your trouble, this shop is money hungry. read more

The rave reviews and high ratings people give this place boggle my mind. First of all, Tom's is 20 percent more expensive than nearly every other mechanic in Arlington, and even more expensive than many dealerships. Secondly, on multiple occasions, they recommended service to me that was unnecessary, going so far as to claim that my car "wouldn't pass inspection" unless I replaced the rear brakes (13 months and two state inspections later I am still on the same rear brake pads). They also told me that my car was not safe to drive out of the shop unless I spent nearly $1000 replacing the front sway bar arms and ball joints. I took it anyway and "barely" made it to another mechanic who told me that they had a little give, but were far from dangerous. I'm now convinced that they have squeezed hundreds or even thousands of dollars out of me with these bullying and borderline unethical sales tactics. I won't be going there again. I've been to my share of mechanics that I didn't trust, but Tom's is the only place I've been able to verify was outright lying to me. Oh, and they are huge pain about appointments. I sent my wife by to have a flat tire plugged (just a nail in it), something that any garage can and usually will do while you wait since it takes about 10 minutes. They said that, since she didn't have an appointment, she would have to come back in 3 days. For something that would take 10 minutes. She went down the street to a gas station and they fixed it for her right away. They might be great if you know cars and can discern the unnecessary from the vital repairs (I certainly don't). And they are awesome if you love paying top dollar for services that are already overpriced in this area. Otherwise, stay away. read more

As a former auto service adviser for several different dealers/shops and the son of a mechanic, I know that no one ever visits a mechanic because they WANT to, so it's always a challenging relationship to develop. When I moved to the area 19 years ago, I had fits finding anyone around here I felt I could actually trust as I know all the tricks of the trade (and I have a particularly high service expectation). That said, after 17 years of trying businesses that never quite felt right or fell short in overall service, I tried the Auto Stop on Four Mile Run in Shirlington. They had great reviews and I can say they have earned them. In the last two years, I have found them to be the best by far. They don't oversell (they will suggest but will make it clear what is needed now and what could help later so you can plan or ignore at your own discretion), Additionally, they provide service (email quotes, timely calls and followup) at a much higher level than even the best shop I had used prior. Tom, the owner, is always engaged and he remembers people and their unique needs. I had an issue with a window that they repaired. Within a few weeks of the repair, a popping noise appeared and they worked on it for free for over two years to try to get it right including replacing several parts under warranty WELL after the warranty period was over. In the end, after some challenging diagnostic time spent, we all came to realize that the issue was related to a very minor bump on the front of the truck that had caused a very subtle "bend" in the framework of the door and had nothing to do with their repairs. And they charged me NOTHING for any of the diagnostic visits or additional repairs. I've heard their conversations with other customers and regardless of any issues, they will do whatever they can to make it right. . and never in a way to cause you more cost or frustration. I'd HIGHLY recommend them!! read more

After moving to Virginia from a state that doesn't require front license plates I had to get a front plate bracket put on my car. Chose Auto Stop because of the Yelp reviews and couldn't have been more pleased. Tom came out and drilled the holes for the bracket right in the parking lot, helped me change out my plates, told me where to get my inspections done, and then....didn't charge me anything! Great service. I'll definitely be back if I need work done on our vehicles. read more

Seriously. I love this place!!! I haven't been in a while because I have honestly been lazy and because I forgot that they have a shuttle that will drop you to the Pentagon City Metro stop. Duh! I've been going to Toyota because they are right next to Crystal City and drop me off at my office door. (They guys at the shop were really accomodating and agreed to have the driver drop me off in Crystal City. Thank you SO much!!) I dropped my car off at about 8:20 am and it was ready for pick up at about noon. They patched a tire, changed my oil, topped off my fluids, checked my breaks, and fixed this dangling piece of plastic that is some sort of guard for the low, low price of $36.91. SAY WHAT?! That's amore.... They are so reasonable and don't try to screw you over like the bigger dealerships do. Now, I remember why I started to go here in the first place. Brought my 2013 Hyundai Sonata in for a brake fluid flush; work was done in the amount of time quoted. Fair price, and all of the work comes with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty, which I have NEVER seen at another shop before. I would definitely recommend that you try and schedule an appointment in advance; there's a reason why these guys are so busy. Excellent customer service, excellent work. I've been going to Auto Stop for more than 6 years and I used to be their biggest fan. I was thrilled to actually find a trustworthy shop with nice guys running the shop and getting charged honest prices for only the services and repairs that NEEDED to be done. there have always been some negatives to taking the car to auto stop. it is stuck on a pretty nasty section of 4 mile run dr, and the parking for the shop is almost zero. unfortunately, i have definitely noticed a decline in service ever since they opened up the second garage near bailey's crossroads. i couldn't find some of the old people i knew, so i tried both shops to see if they switched locations. nope, just not around any more. and then at both places, i have never received the type of service on my vehicles that i used to get. 1 time recently i just took a car in for an oil change and tire rotation before going on a trip. when i came to pick the car up after several hours, only the oil change had been done and i noticed the tires were not done.. .they offered to do it then, but i had no time at that point and was very frustrated. i used to have full confidence in auto stop, but now, i find myself climbing under my car looking to make sure the fuel filter was actually changed like i asked, etc... on my most recent visit, i was charged $1100 for an oil change, tire rotation, new spark plugs, and a bunch of services. brake fluid flush, fuel line services, etc. i definitely don't think all of those services were needed but i didnt feel like going through each one on the phone when they called me. i know these flush service are a huge profit maker for shops but they are good for your car. i probably should have just had them change the spark plugs and buy a can of BG20 fuel additive or get some SeaFoam to add to the car myself. but i didn't argue or negotiate and that decision probably cost me $600. i looked up some of the services on http://repairpal.com/ and was disappointed to see that i was charged way more than i should have for an independant shop and even more than a dealer would charge for the repairs.. by about $250 at least. ~~~~ i talked to the shop manager about the services and he said if i was planning on keeping my car a long time it was the right thing to do. and about the high price on the repairs, he said they go by "book time" and showed me the times on the computer. ~~~~ when i was picking my car up, they then noticed my inspection was up.. so it was too late to do anything about that too.. so that will require another trip. they are friendly here, and my car IS running much better after the spark plugs were changed. but a $500 bill turned into $1100. when i am tight on money, they weren't helpful by letting me know what services could wait. they offered to wipe a few greasy fingerprints off my hood. i told them not to worry about it since my car was dirty already. they insisted though. what i was really thinking was that a dealership would have charged me the same or less and i would have received a car that was washed and vacuumed too, so wiping off the fingerprints as i'm forking over the credit card really didn't help that much. for me, Auto Stop used to be 5 stars.. now it is 2 stars read more

I have never had more outstanding service from an auto repair shop than I had here. They did a very quick diagnostic, ordered the part in same day, was able to get me and my daughter home and back very conveniently, were very friendly, and even stayed open a little late to get my job done. Oh and they took it to a nearby shop to get a safety inspection done for me so I wouldn't have to run around to do it myself. Seriously, impeccable service. Not to mention the service was less expensive than expected. I have found my repair shop!! Can't recommend enough. read more

I'm compelled to leave an update four years later... I get my oil done at Jiffy Lube on Duke St. They're very fast and nice, so I go back. On a recent visit, I was told my serpentine belt was cracked and that it should be replaced. I said thank you very much and went on my way (Jiffy Lube can do your oil, air filter, wiper, lights, and that's it). I stopped by Auto Stop the following morning to see if they could squeeze me in same day. No surprise, they were slammed and could not. He offered to make me an appointment for tomorrow, but then also offered to take a look at the belt to see how bad it is and if I should leave the car. Imagine both of our surprise to find one tiny little crack about the size of a grain of rice. That's it. So, once again, Auto Stop goes OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure you're not wasting your money and your time. That Jiffy Lube on the other hand... read more

My car's check engine light came on conveniently before I have to go in for an emissions test. Not wanting to get ripped off, I consulted Yelp to find a trustworthy auto shop. With 4.5 stars and over 100 reviews, I figured Auto Stop would be a safe bet. I called them on a Wednesday and was able to schedule an appointment for Friday. The place is a bit hard to find if you don't know what to look for. They are located on a street that has a lot of other auto shops, so the easiest way to find them is by looking for a big green storage building. Auto Stop will be on the left. Their driveway is small, but they are quick to move the cars inside so you can pull in. I decided to wait there while they diagnosed my check engine light. It only took about 20 minutes. They were really great about explaining what was wrong with my O2 sensor (analogies were very helpful), describing potential scenarios that may occur after replacing the sensor, and answering all my questions. I really felt like I understood what the problem was! I was also glad to hear that the diagnosis wouldn't cost me anything. Before scheduling an appointment, they told me how much it would cost to replace the sensor, breaking down the changes by line item. I was expecting the labor charge to be ridiculous, but it was very reasonable. So I schedule an appointment for the following weekend. During the week, I got an email asking me to confirm my appointment via a website. I thought this was very convenient and efficient. The day of the appointment, I had my husband follow me to the shop so I would have a ride back home. I didn't realize that they offer rides to customers until I dropped my car off. They said it may take a couple hours, so my husband and I decided to get breakfast @ Busboys and Poets in Shirlington before heading home. Shirlington is a very short distance from Auto Shop. The W&OD trail is also right across the street from the shop, so I did contemplate going for a run while my car was getting fixed. Of if you have a dog, you can take them to the Shirlington Dog Park while you wait. As we were walking to our car after breakfast, I got a call from Auto Stop telling me that my car was ready to be picked up. The timing couldn't have been any more perfect! So I got dropped off, paid my bill, and drove away a happy customer. My husband and I will definitely use Auto Stop again! They definitely live up to the expectations. read more

I'm so glad that I found Auto Stop. Maybe a story will best help explain why I like them: My first time there, I brought my wife's car in for a look. The brakes were making a horrible noise. We both could have sworn that it was coming from the front. I told Tom to go ahead and replace the pads and rotors. Well. Tom didn't listen to me. He later told me that the pads and rotors both looked just fine. But just to appease his curiosity, he checked out the back drums and found some rust there which he scraped off and might have been causing the problem. Sure enough...there was no more noise! Anyway, I whip out my credit card to pay him. He looks at me like I've got three heads. I say, "Well, I certainly owe you SOMETHING for taking the time to take off four wheels and inspect four brakes." He says, "That was easy. And there was nothing wrong. (jokingly) -- How about you come back, and I'll be happy to charge you when there's something ACTUALLY wrong with your car." So I've been back many times, and I have wound up paying him, but gladly so...or at least as gladly as you can be given the circumstances. Let's see , , , they charged me $269.00 to fix what was wrong with my car after I had received an estimate for $1,000. from another shop who completely misdiagnosed something that was not an issue. Plus they let me rag on about my dog and a whole host of other irrelevant stuff and did it with a smile. They schelped me to and from the Metro station (with no waiting) while they worked on my car. Finally, they referred me to an A-list body shop who turned out to be just as special as they are at Auto Stop. Look for my review of Spectrum Collision in Arlington after my body work gets done. They just saved me $2200!! Had my Audi at the dealer and they said I had all kinds of issues. Took it to Auto Stop and found out they lied to me on all but one item. I've been here twice now. I really like this place! Their diagnoses are accurate and all their staff seem very competent. I have had a rear axle replaced (incorrectly diagnosed by Jaguar dealer and CORRECTLY diagnosed by Auto Stop) and an A/C service done. Both times, they explained the situation very clearly to me and provided me with a report after the work was complete, explaining exactly what it was that they found. (Don't you hate reading 5-star reviews of auto shops when all they had done was an oil change or a tire rotation?) They are very busy all the time, so sometimes it is hard to get an appointment. Also, the prices are NOT cheap. However, you need to understand that cheap prices aren't always the way to go. I would much rather pay $1,000 to fix the problem correctly the first time, than $700 three times in an attempt to get rid of a problem. read more

My favorite auto shop in the area. They're very up front and honest (sometimes they even recommend not fixing an issue), the staff is friendly, and the quotes are very competitive. This is my first review on Yelp and I feel like these guys deserve it. I just recently moved to Virginia from California. My family had an auto shop that we've been going to for about 35+ years now. When I moved out here, I was nervous about finding a replacement. I called the day before for an oil change and they were able to fit me in right at 8am. The service took about an hour and ten minutes. I brought my dog and we went to the dog park, which is right next to the shop. Side note, Auto Shop is dog friendly and even had a water bowl for dogs inside. When I picked up my car, they said everything looked good. They didn't try to scam me and say I needed my air filter changed or my breaks replaced or my car was going to blow up if I didn't pay $600 to fix it now. Every gentleman (from over the phone to the in-store experience) was super nice and friendly! The service only costed $42, which is super reasonable. The best part was they gave me a freaking goody bag when I left. It was filled with Milano's cookies, biscoff cookies, Twix, Andes mint and a peppermint York patty. What a treat! To sum it all up, five star auto shop with five star guys. Definitely recommend. read more

I took my Audi into Auto Stop with the check engine light on. Tom and his team diagnosed my car and got it back to me in 3 days (which included ordering parts from the Audi warehouse). I paid for the repairs and was on my way. Unfortunately, two days later my check engine light was back on. I dropped the car back off and Tom called me first thing the next morning. After some more checking, they found a few more issues. Tom and his team made the repairs and did not charge me for the additional parts and labor. Once more, the check engine light reappeared a few days later. Back to Auto Stop I went. Same as before they dug a little deeper and found residual issues, which were corrected at no cost to me. Some may ask why I am rating Auto Stop 5 stars when it required 3 trips to get it repaired. Based on the nature of the problems, and my knowledge of cars, the Audi dealer would have had the same issues and would have charged me for each and every visit. Tom was extremely helpful and provided great communication on the issues as they arose. It is obvious they care about their customers and I trust that they will do the right thing. I will be using Auto Stop moving forward for all repairs and tune ups! Thanks to Tom and team for all the hard work in getting my car fixed up. read more

I went to Auto Stop thanks to the great Yelp reviews. I drive VERY infrequently, but still want to stay on top of maintenance. Their service has been comparably priced - sometimes better! - than other local shops I've been to, but I will not be returning due to my last visit. I will note now that my problem is not with the shop's quality of work. Instead I'm not returning because I feel like their desk staff was trying to dupe me into repairs. To recap: in October, I visited a shop in Alexandria for an oil change and inspection on my 03 Corolla. This shop notified me that my rear break pads were so low that my car failed inspection. They gave me a quote but I did not have them start the work. Instead, I took my car to Auto Stop. They did the same work for less money, and my car was ready to roll. Flash forward six months: I headed back to Auto Stop for an oil change. They informed me that my six month old rear break pads were getting very low and had just 40% of usable life left. Perplexed, I asked the guy at the desk if he was sure and explained that his shop had JUST replaced those same break pads in October. His response? "Some cars just go fast." When I told him how infrequently I drive he just shrugged and repeated that some cars eat through break pads. Looking back on this I'm not sure if Auto Stop's techs just couldn't tell the shape of break pads they installed, or if this desk guy was trying to get me in for more services without seeing what their shop had actually done to my car in the past. I've been driving this car since it was new 11 years ago and it has never eaten through breaks pads that fast. Anyway, I went to another shop for a second opinion. After checking out my breaks pads and reporting that they were in excellent shape, this shop even took my back to my car to show me my break pads. On the upside (?), according to their desk guy my break pads are under warranty at Auto Stop for three years. To reiterate, I've been pleased with the costs and work provided by Auto Stop in the past. Its the front desk handling that's sending me away. read more

I been bringing my car here for a couple of years. They're really friendly, the prices are very fair, and the treat there customers well when it comes to walking through the services you need for your car. One day I brought my car here on a whim to get a noise checked out, and they looked at it right way in the driveway and told me it was very minor and won't affect the mechanics of the car. They didn't charge for the advice, and after that day I knew these guys were a solid shop. read more

I have a 2003 Altima with very low miles that I would like to keep running as long as possible and I won't ever take it anywhere other than Tom's Auto Stop. These guys are great! Last week I made an appointment for an alignment today, and not only did they get me in and out in about 35 minutes, but they kept me entertained while I waited. Chris was great company, and you can tell from the manner with which he talks to customers on the phone that customer satisfaction is paramount. I also got a very reasonable quote from them to replace my recently cracked windshield and will definitely be returning to have that done. I highly recommend Auto Stop! read more
