Salesman told me the shop has a very good reputation. Total lie. This business is not a BBB certified business and has an F rating by the BBB. When I went in, it was obvious they prey off of vulnerable people. The place is gross in every way. Not to be trusted at all. https://www.bbb.org/us/nj/wood-ridge/profile/used-car-dealers/auto-spot-llc-0221-90171570/addressId/201299

AutoSpot more like Auto NOT... the chances of your time not being wasted are slim

I made an appointment two days in advance to view and test drive a vehicle. I also inquired about the window sticker, and they could not provide it to me. I drove for many hours through traffic between 3 states to get there. When I was about 30 minutes from arriving, I received a message from the sales representative stating that the vehicle was in the mechanic shop and they asked if I wanted to check out other inventory. As soon as I received that text message, I called the sales rep to find out what was going on... the call was transferred to the rep's line and then disconnected. I called again and the 2nd person could not confirm that the vehicle was on the lot. I arrived, and the sales rep that I was working with handed me off to their coworker. I asked several times about what happened to the vehicle, but I couldn't get a straight answer. Finally the sales rep returns and I ask her, and she states that she heard a clunkering noise, that they reported it to her manager, and they had to bring it to the mechanic. I told them that I drove far and for several hours and that I had planned to view the vehicle and test drive it before purchasing. I told them that I can drive to their mechanic shop to view it and get the details. The other sales rep said it was 2-3 miles down the road. I told them I can drive there. 2-3 miles is pretty simple compared to having already driven 100s miles to get to dealer. That same rep asked if I wanted to view other inventory. I told him NO, and that I was only interested in that vehicle. After all of this nonsense, it turns out to be what someone would call a classic bait-n-switch. So warning to all sincere car shoppers, buyer beware with this dealer.

Do NOT SHOP HERE. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Last spring I considered buying a car from Auto Spot but wanted to come back on a different day to take it for a used car evaluation at Pep Boys. The salespeople pressured me, saying they couldn't guarantee that the car would still be here in a week and I could put down a deposit to hold it. I insisted the deposit be refundable, and after some resistance they agreed. I had the manager (RAY PERALTA!!!!) sign the deposit paperwork myself so they couldn't negate the refund. When I decided not to buy the car, I tried for 2 months to get the salesperson to process the refund over the phone/remotely (I paid with a credit card) and after lying to me for awhile saying it was being processed and it never was, then fed me all kinds of BS about why he couldn't do it remotely and said we had to come in to swipe our card. We lived 2 hours away from Auto Spot and didn't have a car at the time so this wasn't easy to do. We were in the area 2 weeks ago and finally went by with our signed refund paperwork and credit card receipt from the transaction. After making us wait for a half hour, Ray finally sat down with us and BS'ed us some more, saying Auto Spot has changed their credit card company and he couldn't provide a check refund until he had "verified this transaction with the owner" and insisted he would call me within 3 days. When he never called, I called him and, surprise surprise, he wasn't able to "verify this transaction".This is despite him having our deposit slip, signed by himself, a copy of our credit card receipt, and a copy of my credit card statement reflecting the transaction. These people are slimy, slimy businessmen and I would not waste my time or money here. They also have a horrible Better Business Bureau rating! Happy car shopping, literally anywhere else!

Be on notice, I will be filing suit for (3) times ascertainable loss in accordance with New Jersey UDAP law. The vehicle which Mr Petrullo sold me has various hidden damage which he was aware of but did not disclose and in doing such has violated UDAP law protecting consumers from fraud. If you have been the victim of Unfair Deceptive Acts & Practices by this dealer then please contact me at here on Facebook or at ThomasKukla yahoo com In addition, I will provide evidence of fraud by Mr Petrullo in charges made by the Bureau Of Fraud Deterrence, Department of Banking and Insurance of the State of New Jersey. I purchased a 2012 Jeep Liberty from Anthony Petrullo which was sold to me on the premise that it was like new, fully inspected, one owner no issues. Well, less then 700 miles out of the gate and a check engine light came on. I will not go into detail of the problems with this Jeep because other problems are likely hidden and my pending suit will disclose all found. Do your homework folks, start with all the deceptive reviews. The Royalty Auto positive reviews are fake. Start with the review by Marissa Petrullo (daughter of Anthony) or Anthony Perona, fictitious, and you will get the picture. Reviews that have no comment or 1 review, 100% fake. If the reviewer has more then one review then look at who they reviewed and you will see the cross review scam. I will also site google being complicit in allowing these fake reviews by non-customers. When I asked Anthony the history of the vehicle I was told it was clean but Anthony said he was having trouble getting a CarFax printed while waiting for my loan approval, but assured me again, it was clean, (I went in fair and trusted him, big mistake) (1) owner when in fact it was in (3) accidents and (2) previous owners. I did not find out the true history until after I had completed my loan and the check was given to Mr Petrullo, and only on 7/12/19 did Mr Petrullo finally produce a Carfax report for me, but still stated it was (1) owner and only a small bumper accident, both statements untrue. One thing that I will give Mr Petrullo credit for is replacing the cracked windshield which was hidden by a large advertising sticker prior to and during the sale. This is a vehicle which I was charged $15,221.00 for but only has a resale value of $8000.00 due to the Carfax accident history which was not disclosed. I am sure Mr Petrullo will rebut claiming he gave me an adjustment on the cost when in fact he sold me a vehicle for $14,005 ($15,221 tax & tags) which has a book value of less then $8000 due to the Carfax history which was not disclosed during sale. The $2000 adjustment was in fact the balance on my trade in of $5500 which Mr Petrullo then sold the same day for another $2500 profit in addition to the $6000 profit on the Jeep. As of 7/24/19 I have not received my tags, registration or the one year warranty (which I found out is a worthless Cars Protection Plus warranty) which was promised upon sale, nor have I been contacted as to the whereabouts of the aforementioned. The statements made above are 100% truthful and accurate. In no way shall these facts be misconstrued as slander. Bottom line folks, do not trust this dealer.

By far the best BMW dealership in service center I've ever been too! Highly recommend it if you haven't been to the one in Hackensack on Park Avenue. You can tell by how I'm stuttering and repeating myself how impressed I am with the overall experience and where I was treated in a very difficult situation where my keys were stolen and they're duplicates! They treated me with respect and are prompt and helpful and I'm so excited to be working with them :-)

Do not trust this dealership for new car sales, leases or repairs…read moreI had my lease "bmw certified " by this dealership so they could make $ off my buy out. I had mentioned that I had some issues with my I drive and after they took my money to "certify the car" they told me everything was fine. I brought the car back several time with continued issues with the I drive and they continued to tell me they could not "replicate the problem". After I on multiple occasions insisted there was a problem they "inspected" the I drive in more detail and they said there was no issue and they " cleaned out the device" but everything passed their tests and looked fine. immediately after picking up the car the I drive issue was worse. After returning the car to look into the issue in more detail all of a sudden out on nowhere they then claimed " there was traces of liquid that were not or almosy not visible by the eye" I asked them that there was an issue before being certified , they certified it , then they said there was no problem and then magically there was " signs of liquid that could not be seen by the eye " The dealership is saying to replace the troubled unit is $6,000.00 $ plus even though they certified the unit until there was a problem and then they clam they was no visible signs of "liquid" despite there was never a liquid spill in the vehicle. After trying to find a solution with the dealership they were not accommodating and were rude in me trying to resolve the issue in a mutually beneficial solution where they were not exploiting their loyal BMW customer. Pleas reconsider working with this dealership as I have worked with other NJ dealerships who have been much more accommodating I only wish I had bought the BMW from a more customer focused dealership which appears to be any other BMW dealership in NJ. Avoid this dealership at all coasts as they DO NOT CARE about their customers and only seek to exploits them for their own financial gains. If you reach out I am happy to explain how they lied and exploited my wife an my faith to take our money. Hopefully you take this worming in dealing with park ave so you can go to a different BMW dealership or a more quality premium brand like Mercedes or Audie Avoid this dealer and service center at all coasts !!!!!!!!
