I purchased a vehicle from this company paid $1000 more then I wanted and then before my first payment the check engine light comes on and I'm told well it's after 30 days we cant work on it we won't get paid unless the office approves called the office several times during lunches and breaks and they tell me service is going to call and it will be up to them if they can do the work. The same service that said it was up to the office. Was told I would receive a call before my lunch break is over and did I get a call? No! This is my worst experience with a car place I have gotten a great experience from A+ motors the man's name was Ali. I wish I had went to him this time. I can tell you no one in my family will ever go back to this place and if any of my customers ask me about a car place I will tell them all about Auto Resources and how they don't care for their customers. Good thing I work in the customer service field and will be sure that I inform my customers of this experience. For reference the vehicle I purchased was at the end of February and issues started before 30 days and they reset my screens on my car assuring me they did service it. Not even 2 weeks later oil lights and engine lights are on. Don't even have the registration and haven't even had the first payment due!! You make your own conclusions on the company from that. Ali at A plus motors went above and beyond for me when I got my last vehicle years ago and if I or my family ever need one again that will be where we stay

Worst customer service experience ever. I read all the reviews, but wanted to give them a chance to make up for it.. They told me I was approved before I came in so I traveled 2 hours and 30 min to just get them to say I can approve you just not the car you want. I specifically asked Moe to get an approval first before I came. I could have used the $300 for an Uber on something else. Unprofessional rude as hell and they love talking over you. Like if you guys wanna fuck people over that's fine but at least be nice

I just went to check on a car that i saw and the guy told me that supposedly the price that i saw on the internet was wrog so pretty much false advertising at the end he ended up giving me a price tag of over 5000 more of the asking price

I would give no stars if I could!! This is going to be a long and lengthy review but I want to share my personal experience. They communicate through text which is a horrible mistake when you mistreat your customers!! My friend referred me here? She had a bit of a difficult time with some things but it sounded like the good out weighed the bad? She was told if she referred people to their place of business they would give her $200 off the vehicle she purchased. That was not credited to her even though I gave her name, number and address. I went in with my vehicle to see what I could do as far as a trade or just to buy another car. I looked at the vehicle I was interested in, one of the major selling factors was an automatic start which I was told it worked and it didn't once I got it. My fault for not checking and believing. The deal was they would take in my trade and pay it off and I would put $3500 down. $3000 up front another $500 in a few weeks. My pervious vehicle was not in the best shape, however they could clearly see that, they also took it for a test drive so they new what they were getting into and they still agreed to take it and pay it off. We had a set date for the rest of the $500 deposit that was left for whatever reason about 2 weeks after I received a text telling me the deposit was 5 days late. I called to confirm and it wasn't. Some days pass before my deposit is still do and I receive another message that now the $500 is 15 days late. Again it wasn't obviously a mess up on their end. When it came time for the deposit to be due they text me and asked if I would be calling that day and I said yes. They stated that they still had my card on file so I figured to make it easier fine go ahead and charge my card, moment's later they said there was an additional $300 for the trade in. I asked if we could plan for that to be taken at another time, no response. Later in the afternoon I went to go get gas. I happened to check my account and they took $837 and some change without my consent. My consent was for the $500. I was not notified until the day of the payment about the additional $337 they would be taking until that day. I called and asked to speak to a manager, of course one was not available. I sent a text again, "so you guys are going to take an additional $337 without my consent". The response was there was an additional fee for the pay off we didn't know about and it was do today. I said I need a manager to call me now! Moments later I receive a call from the manager? His name was Moe I told him about the issue and all his response was I'm sorry. That's it. I thankfully get paid weekly but here I am with $200 left in my account toast the week because they took and additional amount without telling me first. I stated how the automatic start does not work and that was a big selling point for me how it was my fault I didn't check and how as soon as they found out about the additional $337 they should have notified me so I could plan accordingly. Again the only response I could get was I. Sorry. He asked what vehicle I tried in and I told him he then throws in my face, "oh the one I'm dumping alot of money into so I can get it off my lot". Who's fault is that? Not mine, I didn't force then to take the trade they said they would, I didn't force or even asked if they would pay it off. That was Again them. I also stated how my friend did not receive the $200 off her vehicle for referring me and he said he would look into it he has to talk to my sales person. He is the manager, I said I can give you her name you can look up her sales person since her sales person was the one who told her to refer people to their place of business. Again he said ok I'm sorry have a good day. I stated I was going to give a bad review because of all of this and I hung up. He called back and I did not answer, he then proceeds to send me a text saying good luck getting your friends money, I was going to help but since you are giving a bad review I'm not now. Thankfully I'm done dealing with them everything is now through the bank. Decide for your self but I would stay away. Find somewhere that treats you like a valued customer. I felt like the response was if you went to eat at a restaurant and you had hair in your food and they just picked it out and said continue. Stay as far away as possible.

Would not recommend this place they are very unprofessional. They will take advantage of you make sure you read what you sign for. And that gap insurance that they tell is required is a bunch of BS. You can get that with your personal insurance company. read more

This is my 2nd interaction with AR and both times I have been taken care of. But I must share my 2nd experience was beyond obliging. Jay reached out to me to set up a meeting, little did I know I would be walking away in such a luxurious vehicle. From the moment I stepped onto the lot, Jay greeted me with such a pleasant demeanor. It didn't feel like I was being hounded or pressured one bit. He sat and walked me through each step along with sharing kind words and great advice. I did notice other salesmen's communication with others and I must say I was so blessed to have Jay as my salesman. He not only made sure I knew about every feature before taking off, he even checked on me days later! If that isn't the greatest customer service! Buy from Auto Resource but more importantly ask for Jay, you will not be disappointed! read more

Customer service was excellent. Got me approved and in a truck that met all mine and the misses requirements. Even with our not so perfect credit score got an amazing deal at really great rates. Moe, even though we had a crying baby, and my dyslexia with the numbers was patient and courteous. Definitely recommend the guy. They even put mickey on the tv for the children. Overall, great day experience and definitely recommend them. read more

Literally THE WORST PLACE to buy a car. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR MONEY ESPECIALLY YOUR TIME ON GOING GO THIS SHITTY ASS PLACE. I bought a Malibu a year ago and less than a month of having if the check engine light turned on. When I bought the car letters were missing and GILBERT CLEARLY SAID all letters were going to be ordered to fix all the missing letters on my doors and trunk. Sure enough when the day came I was told only one part was ordered and never contacted me again to fix the rest. Every time I called PAULY for an update he would let it ring once or twice and hang up the call. I have to go to Chevy dealership and fix the letters they promised to fix. A friend of mine use to work there and he said they always told him to fix the cars good enough to get off the lot. Not to fix it to where it was going to run great without issues. And to top it off my friend purchased a car and a rat was in her engine. They are the worst. They would take money out of her account as well. Save yourself they just want to fuck people over! read more

Yes I got my car repossessed by the used car dealership where I got my truck at and when they came to get my truck I complied with them and gave them the keys and they told me I can leave my stuff in the truck because they were going to try to give me the truck back because they didn't want it so he said they were going to find me another bank to do my payments so when I went to the dealership I went to the front desk and they told me a whole different story and that I have to pay the Down payment again which was 4,000 dollars I didn't have that kind of money I used it all for the first down payment and so I just said I want my stuff out the truck I couldn't afford another down payment so when I requested to get my belongings they said the truck wasn't there so I left then I came back again and still nothing and the 3rd time the guy who repoed the truck I texted him a lot of times to see where the truck was at so I can get my belongings and he told me where it was at and I went to that dealership and by then the truck was already cleaned out and on the lot for sale already and I went to the front desk and they said to go to the service area that my stuff would be there so I did and the guys in the service area couldn't find my things they said someone must of threw my stuff away so now they said they are not responsible for those things getting thrown away I told them they were because of what they told me and what kind of dealership throws peoples belongings away not even giving them a phone call or anything that they are cleaning out my belongings which had my government ID my Debit card and other belongings I paid a lot of money for I need help on what I should do please this isn't right of what they did and I'm not the only complaint they had before I regret getting this truck there i REALLY DO NOT recommend this dealership especially don't trust the guy who repos cars his name is GINO he a damn liar I lost everything in my truck I paid for and worked hard for all there employees just shru there shoulders like they don't car they are just there for the money plus my truck was giving to me with no oil they are not good at what they do read more

I recently bought a truck from Auto Resource Car Sales, and I want to share my experience to help future customers. The sales process was very pushy, which seems to be typical at most used car dealerships. I was specifically in the market for a diesel 4x4, and the truck I was interested in had a 4x4 sticker on the window. During the test drive, we discovered it wasn't a diesel, and one of the tires was low. The salesperson told me it was a minor issue that could be fixed, and after filling it with air, the problem seemed to go away temporarily. I made a compromise and decided to get the gasoline truck instead of the diesel. Because they reassured me that this was a tough truck that was good on gas and could tow a heavy load. This was actually the second vehicle I purchased from this dealership. So I assumed they would take care of me. During the paperwork, I noticed a page stating "no spoken promises," and I questioned the salesman about this. He reassured me by saying, "Oh come on, it's just ink, we'll take care of you," which initially gave me confidence. Unfortunately, the tire issue persisted. A week later, it went flat again, which made me concerned about safety. All the tires are the same, (same look same tread ) and now I face the hassle and expense of replacing and matching all of them, which will likely run around $400 for just one! I have also never bought a vehicle and them not detail it or wash it. I picked it up the next day as dirty as it was the day before. there was a homeless blanket in the back of a truck. It had rained that day so when I went to move it, it was soaked and disgusting! I got a text a few days later asking what about that review? I told him I would like to wait at least 30 days after buying a vehicle before I can leave a review so I know I what I'm reviewing. Then the tire went flat...... Me " Hey guys, I usually like to wait at least 30 days before I put in my review but I do want to let you know that that front tire is still going low and all if that's something that you guys can help me out with. Look forward to hearing from you" Auto resource " Hello Jamie, i can totally understand that. I wish I could help you but it was sold as is you did get awesome deal on the Ram, maybe slow leak. I'm sorry" Me "Definitely believe that is a safety issue and something that you guys said that y'all would handle. I'll have to take that in consideration with writing my review." Auto resource " I'm sorry to hear about that, but I did check on it, and they told me it only needs air. Maybe they didn't see where the leak is coming from." This experience has taught me to be more cautious when dealing with this dealership. It also made me extremely concerned what else could be wrong with this truck that I don't know of. While they did make spoken promises at first, the ongoing problems with the tires and the "sold as is" note mean I should have been more skeptical. I advise future buyers to thoroughly inspect vehicles, clarify warranties or promises in writing, and be prepared for unexpected costs. Overall, if you're considering buying from this dealership, proceed with caution and ensure everything is clearly documented. read more

NEVER NEVER NEVER go buy a car from 61 W 16th st Auto Resources!!!!! I have never ever had the worst experience in buying a car IN MY LIFE!!! Colombo will bring you in, get the sale, and LIE to you about HIDDEN FEES just to get the sale that day. Colombo is a scam artist and IM NOT THE ONLY ONE HES DONE THIS TOO!!! He told me that all the bad reviews online are mad people that get their car repoed and they go leave bad reviews, WELL IM NOT ONE OF THEM THAT GOT THEIR CAR REPOED!!! I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH COLOMBO AND 61 W 16TH LOCATION!!!! This is not my first car I've bought from the lot, but this is MY LAST TIME EVER GOING TO AN AUTO RESOURCES DEALERSHIP. I regret with everything I have in purchasing my vehicle with Colombo and that location. He begged me not to "accidentally" show up at the 819 W 16TH location, WHICH I SHOULD HAVE WENT THERE, if I'm even going to buy a car at Auto Resources. Worst decision of my life. I called to get help for a payment they illegally took from my account for someone else's deferred payment, and they both decided to belittle me and told me it was my fault. i was told "JAMEL" would call me bk numerous times, but just like his crooked company, the crook never called.
