Apparently, my husband had passed this place a million times but never given it any thought ... when it came time to try and get rid of his GMC 3500 for something more practical for our family, we landed here to look at a few SUVs. Here's the thing that would make me go back: we had our one and a half year-old with us. Who tries to buy a car with a toddler ... and very active toddler? Because yes, they had what my husband wanted ... but - BUT - I have never been through the car-buying process so quickly. Not only that, Craig helped entertain my son. The absolute worst place to go to. These people are so unprofessional that it is much better to give them a pass. My husband and I went here yesterday to look for a car. We liked a car and it was slightly beyond our budget (10%). We told the sales person (who by the way seemed stoned) that we want to test drive it and the we might go for this if we like it a lot or if we still feel it is beyond our budget, we will stay in touch with you and wait for a lower priced car. Their answer was no. They said if you don't want to buy it we can let you test drive it. We told them that we might change our mind if we believe the performance justifies the price tag. To this he said 'Well will you buy it today?". We said "Probably No". He then said "Well then you cannot test drive it". He then recommended us going to another store to look for something. Furious, we left the store telling them that this is unacceptable and we will post this on Yelp. On hearing Yelp, the manager came after us, argued for a bit and offered us a test drive. We didn't take the offer and left the store. This is the most ridiculous experience I have had in our past 3 years in the US. In the process of providing the financing (in MY name), I had direct experience with both Zach and Dominic. Funny that Yelp either filters or removes negative reviews of this business. Staff is rude and unorganized. Zach was nice enough during the original negotiation of the vehicle but wasn't in when I contacted to find out if I could purchase gap coverage for the car. This time I spoke with Dominic who was rude, impatient and ultimately hung up the phone on me. I'd already given the check for the vehicle and driven away- so not much could do. I wrote a Yelp review. They emailed saying that they'd never done business with me and they'd pursue defamation but that if I review was removed they'd provide extra vehicle key. Of course I didn't remove the review and final email said: "Your account is closed regardless. If you want to help get that review removed we will hook you up with an extra key, and we will provide a free detail of your sister's vehicle for the hassle. Thanks, Dominic" We picked vehicle up in November and as of January 6th still didn't have proper license plates, tabs or registration...however folks at AutoQuest just seemed more concerned about removal of Yelp review. The only thing I hate more than the process of buying a car is the process of buying a *used* car. (Oh, sorry... I meant "pre-owned." My bad.) When my husband and I drove to Auto Quest to check out a two year old Volvo XC90 that was listed on Craigslist, I fully expected to be greased up by some slick salesguy sporting a thick gold chain, a blanket of chest hair, and a pinky ring. I am glad to report that my experience purchasing a car at AutoQuest was top-notch, nothing like I'd been expecting, and not a hairy chest nor pinky ring in sight! :) First, if you're into modern/pop art, there's quite a number of pieces in the Auto Quest offices that are really cool. It's a world away from the sterile, frou-frou environment of most luxury car dealerships. The salesperson we worked with at Auto Quest was friendly, laid-back, zero-pressure and, most of all, honest. Most of the cars they offer are lease returns (mainly Lexus, but I also saw several Mercedes, Land Rovers and BMWs), and although I only test-drove the car I ended up purchasing, all the cars on their lot looked in great shape. Furthermore, it was the first time I'd ever done a trade-in, and not only did Auto Quest give me a fair price for my car, the negotiation process was quite easy and hassle-free. As for the car I bought, it's clean, drives tight, and feels like new. The only down side was noticing after I drove off the lot that the car had less than 1/5 left in the gas tank. I know gas is expensive these days, but buying a $33k car with a practically empty tank kinda sucked. And, hey, the car I traded in had a full tank! Oh, well. However, my experience with AutoQuest was so positive overall that I don't mind overlooking this detail. Bought a used Lexus from Auto Quest. Worked with Cale. Very happy with Cale and the purchase - but Auto Quest not as much. The Lexus has been great - no issues. But just make sure you have an really good, independent mechanic give the car a through review before buying used and ideally buy a car that still has some time and mileage left on the original factory warranty. Unfortunately after Cale left it was more difficult to deal with Autoquest. No major issues but there were a couple of small of items they dragged their feet on and in one case didn't follow through. I have found several things that seem questionable in my car since purchase, TMPS light still is flashing even after taking it back to them to get fixed and getting all new tires. Also the car seems to have a slight vibration at high speeds and the brakes have started squeaking I took it in and they told me it is because someone replaced with cheap, lwo quality brake pads :( Still overall like the car but you surely get what you pay for. read more

I bought a 2016 Range Rover HSE. Salesmen were professional. The salesmen did not try to any kind of hard sales tactics. They were really respectful and let me "just look." The only thing I did not like was when they forced me to buy the GPS system. To remove it, it would cost $200-and-something dollars. So I ended up purchasing. I don't know if it really was their policy to charge for the removal of the gps device or if it was just a sales tactic by the finance manager. The car runs great. Haven't had any problems with it. No check engine lights. No nothing. This is a breath of fresh air compared to when I bought a luxury car from Bellevue auto house. The engine blew 6 days later. What's worst is the warranty that Bellevue auto house sold me didn't cover the cost of the 7 series BMW engine. The warranty denied the repair due to it being a "pre-existing condition." Bottom Line Up Front: Come here if you want a 5-star car buying experience for a luxury used vehicle. Note that their list price is generally not up for negotiation, however I found their prices to be extremely reasonable, if not some of the most competitive in the area. Robert and his team really set the standard for a confidence-inspiring experience. This was my best experience with any dealership to date. Originally I had fully intended to buy a vehicle elsewhere, and this was simply a "pit stop" on my way because they happened to have a similar vehicle at a similar price. What an unexpected bonus this was! I knew within 5 minutes that I need not go further. While my assumption is that the fundamentals of procurement for their business are no different from any other dealer (i.e. used car dealers buy their stuff from auctions, thus they are getting the same vehicles as everyone else), what I feel sets them apart is the service, and in this industry that means everything. Upon initial inspection there were a few small issues with the vehicle we were looking at that were probably overlooked, but without flinching all issues were addressed immediately and without question (cosmetic, not mechanical). This leads me to believe that any issues I may have in the future will be handled with the utmost professionalism, and made me feel safe and confident about making my purchase here. This is an intangible but important value you must add in your calculation. I really feel like their business model is one of the best you will find in this business - they are not simply trying to sell you a vehicle, but are depending on your return visit for future purchases. This long-term mindset works very well not only for them, but also for you as the consumer, as you can tell they value their reputation and will do everything reasonable to keep you as a happy customer. I was also surprised to find they were able to finance me at a lower rate than my bank, so I was able to save .5% on my interest rate. The financing wasn't pushy, and was laid out in easy to understand terms. I opted to purchase an extended warranty as I was purchasing a vehicle that has a reputation for high maintenance costs. Please keep this in mind as you shop! Dealerships are reselling used vehicles, and though they have certain criteria for selecting what they consider the best models to suit their clients needs, ultimately they have no foolproof way of knowing how the vehicle was maintained by the previous owner. With that said, many buyers have unrealistic expectations that a dealership should be willing to stand behind their product to any extent, and while there is some truth to this, it only goes so far. You are ultimately purchasing a vehicle "as-is", and dealerships would soon go out of business if they had to eat the cost for every unforeseen maintenance issues every time they sold a vehicle. My intuition says they would still go through great lengths to make the buyer happy, but really the best thing to do is simply factor the extended warranty cost as part of your bottom line if you can afford it. However, be careful - beyond the basic exclusionary policy, additional options can add up very quickly, and many are probably unnecessary to most buyers. YMMV, but you must decide the risk vs value ratio for yourself. In all, as long as you understand the basics of how this process works and are realistic about your expectations, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better place to purchase a luxury used vehicle. I bought a car from AutoQuest. This was my first time dealing with them and will be my last. While the experience was great and quick, there were things the dealer was not honest about. Things that I had to find out later from the dealership when the car went for service and at a detailing place when the car went for a coating of Ceramic protection. Here were the problems: - There were major scratches over the car at multiple places that were covered up by Autoquest. The scratches were so bad that they had to repaint some sections of the car and they did an extremely poor job. The detailing shop showed me all the problems. There was overspray all over the place from the repainting and they never disclosed that to me. The fact that they didnt say a word that they had to fix the car was disappointing. - There was a major issue with the steering rack where a bolt was completely broken into 2 pieces. It was such a major issue that the service center refused to give me the car without fixing it. Fortunately the car was in warranty and the service center fixed it without a cost impact to me. However the service center did tell me that that was a major thing and a safety issue. They could only speculate how that could have happened. Another major safety issue that AutoQuest failed to mention to me. From what I understand after talking with the service center and the detailing shop, the car was involved in some incident - not sure if this was major or minor. Somehow that did not get reported and the title is clear. AutoQuest ended up buying the car in an auction, fixed it and sold it to me for top dollar without disclosing anything about the car. I would be more than willing to pay more $$ to a honest dealership than a dealership that is dishonest and sells shady vehicles. Please DO NOT visit this place. There are far better places that deal with good cars and are truthful to people. read more

I have worked with Robert at Auto Quest four separate times and finally found the perfect car. My experience first of all started off by Robert remembering me by name even though it had been 12 months since I saw him last. Even though the dealership was crazy busy on a Saturday afternoon and Robert was helping two other customers, he found a way of making time for me as we put a deal together. I was looking at an Audi R8 that understandably, the dealership was reluctant to let me test drive. (By the way, I see another post about someone being angry because of no test drive but for cars over $50K, this no test drive until a deal is negotiated is normal.) On my solo test drive for a $100K car (which is unheard of in my experience with dealers), the car was perfect except for one minor issue. Robert had a creative solution, a great deal on an extended warranty so that any issues would be taken care of post sales. The deal we put together was outstanding, full price for my trade and $7,500 under the CarGurus average price. I was out of the dealership in slightly over an hour. The last experience was what put me over the top on my five star review9. I received a call that I left too fast (I had to get home to catch a movie and had left quickly) and new tires were on order. I also had a minor issue with the transmission and when I stopped by the next day, Auto Quest asked me to bring the car back on Monday and they would repair the issue. We just purchased a 2012 Lexus RX350 from Auto Quest. It was overall a great experience. The auto quest model is different than any dealer I've been to. They don't have commissioned salespeople so everything is pretty laid back, but you can still get the information you need. There is no haggling the price is clearly stated on the window and from the vehicles I looked at appears very fair. I mostly spoke with Zac who was very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. It was very easy to arrange an overnight checkout of the car we were interested in and he encouraged us to take the car to our regular mechanic for a checkup. Zac said the vehicle had been reconditioned and there was definitely evidence of that. Clean interior, new brakes, new tires and full detailing (although there was some residue of wax in the engine area). Our mechanic found some signs of wear and tear and minimal undercarriage rust but nothing out of line with the cars 67000 miles. Overall when checking on kbb the price of the car was at the very low end of the fair market range for the car, and 3500 less than dealer retail. That was a very fair price for the vehicle given its overall condition. The car was a one owner lease return and had detailed maintenance records on the clean carfax report which Zac had printed out for us. When it came time to pay I explained that I was waiting for some stock to clear the SEC and they had no problem with holding the check until it cleared. They helped with temporary plates and the title transfer and that was pretty much it. They mentioned financing and extended warrantee neither of which I was interested in and they didn't push it at all. As of now, I'd definitely come back and/or recommend auto quest to my friends and family. read more

Run from this company... worst company I have ever dealt with, sold me a Range Rover that I discovered has been in a wreck with damage that they did a half ass job to cover up, broken camera, running paint, dents and scratches. They refuse to even return my calls to make it right... small claims court then on to civil, save yourself the headache and go anywhere else but Auto Quest. They are horrible. First and foremost, I want to thank the crew at Auto Quest for their diligence during COVID-19 and making sure all the cars were sanitized and they were following protocol for distancing and sanitation, etc. I had gone to another place recommended by a friend earlier in the day and was disappointed by the lack of face coverings or barriers for the staff or even sanitation practices being discussed to protect customers and staff alike. After making an appointment and speaking with Craig, I came down to look at one of the vehicles I saw online and fell in love. Noticed the tires weren't the same brand, (with AWD, that's important, as all 4 should be replaced at the same time), so they replaced them with no question. We came down to test drive an Audi that we saw online and the process of checking out the car and taking it for a spin was super laid back. The space is awesome. It feels a little James-Bond-in-an-airplane-hanger-ish with the massive square footage and the beautiful, high-end vehicles. There were even snacks and water. In a corner there were video games for our kids to play. When we weren't 100% sold on the car we came to check out, we were free to roam around and see what we could see. He let me drive the car, showed me the auto body detail shop and was very nice to work with. I checked out the car and purchased it the next day. I phoned you the day 'after' visiting your shop - and explained that I was 'unwilling to drive the 2.5hrs to Seattle' and back without sealing a deal on the SUV - before committing to the drive. Over the phone we agreed on the price, discussed the payment process and I indicated that I would be there in 2 hrs to close the deal. This was a gentleman's agreement and I EXPECTED that you would honor your word for 2 hours. I lived up to my end of the bargain - and arrived at your store - only to find out your word is worthless. Very uninviting energy from the sales people. I came in to look at an $8,300 car which is not their typical sales but that shouldn't matter. With that said we came a long ways to look at the car and once we arrived it was too late to take it into a local mechanic for a purchase inspection. Well the first sales guy told me he would call or text me to let me know if the car was sold. No call or text. So when they opened the next morning we called and a new sales rep couldn't tell us if the car was sold or when he could get back to us and was impeccably rude overall, even asked if we would pay the full 8,300 and once we said no he dismissed us as if he could care less, wish I knew his name maybe I'll find out and edit my review. So with high hopes and really needing a new and reliable car that doesn't die while driving with a one year old in the back seat. We drive that long ways back to the dealership without getting any call or text, to come in and have the guy who was on the phone with us tell us right off the bat it was sold after we left the night before, by him? Like what the actual F? He was either lying or was a complete d bag on the phone. But it doesn't end there, this scandalous sales rep, or maybe even company has me check out another car slightly less with more miles, an "eye candy" car you could call it, said things like it runs as smooth as butter, who cares about the other car when you have this car that's so much better looking. So I decided to get a purchase inspection done on it, and I should of just walked out after he kept trying to push their own purchase inspection on it from someone they are affiliated with down the street. Well this POS knew he was waisting our time with an already frustrated and crying toddler. Sure enough the mechanic tells me there's potentially thousands of dollars of repairs in complicated code errors with the transmission and other things, also that the dealership cleared the codes on the car but he got them to pop back up including a warning light! When I asked if the dealership knew, he said it's highly unlikely that they didn't. I stopped at a reputable company on our way home and ended up with a very luxurious and reliable car to take home, trusted the company so much I didn't even get a purchase inspection done. This dealership sucks! Shady business. I would never recommend them to anyone, in fact I'll tell everyone to stay away. I love my car that I got from Auto Quest! The people there are great! I love it so much that I have bought 3 cars there in the past 4 years! I read the reviews before I went in, and there were some good and some bad. I realize that there are two sides to every story, and when someone uses Yelp as their ranting page instead of actually giving an accurate review, that i need to make my own mind up. They have a car for just about every budget.
