He had a good idea of what might be wrong and invited me to bring the truck in for an assessment. After inspecting it, he identified damage (caused by rats) to the transmission wiring harness, which had unfortunately caused internal damage. He walked me through everything clearly and provided a very reasonable estimate for a full rebuild. Throughout the entire process, Ed was easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely helpful with his advice. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond after the repair. I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. Ed then took the time to work directly with my insurance company--providing detailed documentation and expert insight. In fact, they said they had to get the part from the dealer and it was non refundable if that wasn't the cause! A quick search brought me to Transmission Masters and after speaking with Ron I decided to have it towed to his shop. It was the right move! It turned out that the valve body needed to be cleaned and the check balls replaced. He completed the work in a few hours and charged me a heck of a lot less of what I was quoted. What an honest man!
