I HAD TO TAKE A POLICE OFFICER OVER TO AUTO PROS TO GET MY CAR BACK. Visiting Auto Pros was the worst experience I've ever encountered in any transaction. I was never informed of fees, I had my car withheld, my mother and I were hung up on the phone, and I was lied to and cheated. Please read on I dropped off my car at 11:50 am for brake repair and was told that I would be called in an hour to receive a quote. Sam Kashuo called me back four hours later to inform me that my brakes and pads were $700.00 including labor. I called him back and agreed to purchasing the parts independently and I would come in the next morning to drop them off and he will do the service for $315.00. I called him back 15 minutes later and said that I will be taking the car some where else that is more affordable and dependable--the Acura dealership. He informed that I would have to pay $65.00 for an inspection fee which I never was informed about nor did I sign off for. He then calls me back and says that he started service on the vehicle even though I called back 15 minutes later to decline and the fact that he never received the parts from me. During our conversation, he told me that he couldn't release my car because they close at 5:00 pm and the time was 4:47 and he had already shut off his equipment therefore I couldn't pick up my car until tomorrow. After being on the phone for 4 minutes, he said "I will charge you what I want" and hung up the phone. My mother called him and he said that he was going to charge an inspection fee, labor fee, as well as a over night storage fee; and then hung up on her also. I come to find out that his business actually closes at 6:00 pm and that he lied to me about their hours of operation. Not to mention, the following day I received a phone call from the owner and he again was forcefully coercing me to pay the money by keeping my car hostage. At the end of the conversation he told me that he will keep the car for an additional three days even if I did pay. My experience was horrible--I was denied my car, I was lied to, hung up on the phone, and had to bring a police officer to get my car back. Do not ever come to this shop. And on top of that, the owner writes phony reviews on Yahoo to cover up the first review that illustrated the true nature of this company's integrity--pathetic. read more

I recently went to Auto Pros to have some work done on my Monte Carlo and the service I received was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in the door my wife and I felt welcome and could immediately tell that the mechanics really cared about the car. They were not just there to over charge us but were sincerely concerned about making sure my car was repaired and set for the long run. My car had been leaking oil for quite some time and the Pep Boys I kept taking it to on Chapman did not want to work on my car so my wife looked up car shops online and Auto Pros was the next closest location to us. The guy at the front desk was extremely helpful because he sent pictures of my manifold so I can see where the damages were and explained every detail of what repairs were necessary. They were also able to provide a reasonable charge in comparison to Pep Boys and other places I've went to in the past. It's been about 2 weeks and my car is not leaking oil, I had a great experience plus the front desk clerk even called to check and see how my car is running. Awesome. Fantastic auto shop that offers great service and resonable pricing. Tom is very genuine, knowledgeable, and down to Earth, he even offered me lunch as I waited for my car to be inspected. Uhh idk man. My tire popped right in front of their shop. Tom was in the office said they were busy and scratched his forehead when he saw my vehicle. Forehead scratch means he received good news. He liked that my tire was popped. Also scratched his ear as soon as I named a tire shop near by which means he didn't like that I was getting my car fixed near by. I was told by Goodyear that my oil pan was cracked and needed to be replaced. I was referred to AutoPros by a friend from work and they cleaned the oil, tightened the bolts, added a dye in the oil to check for leaks and found everything was ok. They saved me over 300dollars.
