Had a flat today on my Tesla and luckily I pulled into this gas station. I drove to the back service center and they were closing up shop for the day at 5pm. I asked if they can fix my flat and Jason said no problem and took care of my flat at a reasonable price, patched up in 15mins. Glad to know there are still good people around and I know it's the end of the day so they could have easily just said sorry we're closed but they didn't which saved my ass from having to call a tow truck. Was in the Alhambra area looking for someone who could do Smog Check and Brake and Lamp Inspection all in one visit. These guys were recommended to me by a family friend who owns a different Smog shop and although I was a bit skeptical about them at first, I went for it. The auto shop and the gas station together appear to be a family run business, very kind and genuine people. Long story short all I can say is the guys at Auto Pros 76 are awesome, nuff said. OK enough of that, here's my first time experience with them... I called the number for Auto Pros 76 on a Saturday morning around 9am asking if they'd take any walk-ins. The gentleman I spoke to over the phone said I could walk in at anytime, so I took him up on that. I arrived somewhere around 11:30AM the same day and there were 2 other vehicles being serviced at the time by what looked like a father-son duo. I waited outside the shop for roughly 15 minutes before one of them noticed me and came out to talk to me. I told him I was here for a Smog Check and Brake and Lamp Inspection for DMV as I was trying to register a salvaged vehicle and needed to check these items off my list. He told me to wait for him to finish up the vehicle he was working on and he will come get me. Sure enough another 20-30 minutes pass by, I see that the vehicle he was working on previously was done and he was now approaching me again. This time he asked for my keys, DMV paperwork and pulled the car onto the lift. The actual process took 30 minutes roughly, so I was in and out in around an hour. I was so shocked at how fast these guys work and their quality of work appears top notch as well. Even just observing what they were doing on other cars. They take their time and take care of their customers, but also try to get them in and out as quickly as possible. My car was ultimately returned to me clean just how I handed it over to them and without any incident, I was on my way. I would definitely come back to Auto Pros again for any mechanic needs. I am a African American woman that just moved to Alhambra, which is predominantly an asian neighborhood. There have been many times that when I entered the store some employees treated me very mean. I didn't want to think I was being profiled but I just felt uncomfortable. Yesterday, I left my wallet at the store and came back later that day to get it, I was told to come back in the morning because the manager locked it up in the office. I had work in the morning and the wallet had all my important cards / id in it.I asked if someone could come open it or if there was a spare key but the clerk said it couldn't be done and I should come in the morning at 8:00 to get it . I came this morning to get it, and the male clerk in the morning first rejected my claim that "no wallet is here" without looking. I showed him My Id and he told me to go to the back and ask the manager. I went to the manager and explained I left my wallet and that it was placed in the office and he right away denied my claim. He said that he knows his office and there is no wallet. I explained that if he could just look, or call the clerk to confirm that I was telling the truth. As soon as he saw me, he became very defensive with me. Actually raising his voice and I was calm. I called the police and went back to see if he could call the clerk , and he said he is not going to call the clerk. That "I come and beg " and he doesn't have to help me. That was so rude and unkind to say to a paying customer. I was not nasty to him and was actually crying and he gave no remorse. I then went to the fire department next door to see if one of the men could help advocate for me. The chief came over then the manager changed his whole attitude , to make it seem as if I was rushing him, and began to yell at me ( let me also remind you, I'm the customer ‍) and I was told to sit down and wait. As if I haven't been waiting for 15 mins, and it took him one minute to get my wallet which was in the office. ‍‍‍. *now why couldn't that be done at the very begin ?!?!? * Overall I am very displeased with my experience at with this location, and WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I feel discriminated against. This location has put a permanent mark of hurt into the neighborhood for me. I am disappointed that a man in a management position would treat a young woman who is a frequent costumer as such. After numerous times of spending my money there, at Least I could get some respect. I would not go to this place for any auto repair or brake and lamp inspection. I went there to do a brake and lamp inspection for my car and the guy failed me for the following reasons: - My trunk door indicator light was on because the trunk doesn't close properly - claimed my right tail light was dimmer than the left I explained to him it's the trunk indicator light and has nothing to do with the brake lights. He argued with me saying this car doesn't come with the trunk light indicator. My car is a wagon so it has an indicators for all the doors as well as the trunk. He can see that when I open other doors, the light comes on indicating the door is open. The same thing applies for the trunk, except the trunk light stays on because it doesn't close properly. Then he told me the passenger tail light is a bit dimmer and that's the reason why the indicator is on. The time was in the morning and the way the sun ray was shining, the driver side of the car was in the shade and the passenger side was in the sun so it would appear the light was dimmer. I tested the light out at night and they were perfectly fine and was not dimmer. He's just seeing imaginary things. So I went to my regular repair shop to ask them about the indicator lights. Even they told me that's an indicator for the trunk door. Luckily, I found a place that know what they're doing and got it to pass with ease. It was a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's embarrassing to be a head mechanic and couldn't even tell if it's a warning light for the brakes or the indicator light for the trunk door. Oh and the car already has a separate brake warning light that indicate the word "Brake" in the dash. He must've gotten confused. read more

I inserted my card, I did proceed to fill up my gas thank, gas starting pumping, it stoped at 4 dollars. But the machine kept going marking gas and money to make it to 10.00 dlls. I reached to the cashier lady, she sent this guy, I explained what happened, he tried to tell me that I was wrong and how I would like to fix this. I was like well you tell me cuz I wouldn't lie about this if it wouldn't be happening. I'm not trying to get free gas, I want to be charged accurately. At the end he couldn't offer a solution to fix this issue. I decided to go to another gas station. My Toyota Tacoma needed to get an oil change, brake fluid flush, and tire rotation so I came here because I was already getting gas anyways. Met the mechanic Russell who promptly told me how much all the services would cost: $30 oil change, $20 tire rotation, $75 brake fluid flush. Not bad prices. Plus the place wasn't busy so he was able to take my truck in right away. He also showed me how dirty my truck's air filter was and offered to clean it for $20. I wish I took a picture of my air filter because it looked awful. He also put air in my tires without me even having to ask. In all, it took an hour to get all the services done. I appreciated how Russell quickly did all the services for my truck and brought to my attention other things that needed to be fixed. Will most likely come here again to get my truck's smog check ($50). read more

Worst gas station ever. After today no more! What happened today: My tire is completely flat and I need to fill it up so I come here because it's the closest place. The air machine is jammed with a quarter so I go inside asking if I can just pay him the .50 for the air and he tells me I can wait for the mechanic to come and he glean fix the machine. Are you serious? You can't take my quarters and turn on the machine? I'm not asking for it for free. I've been fueling up there off and on for years now and you're going to be petty? No thanks! What's happened in the past: My debit card info was stolen here. How do I know? Because I was only using it to fuel up my tank at this location only. Owner looked at my brakes from the tire and said they were good and charged for a brake inspection then I go back two months later cause they feel off and he goes into a rant, talking smack. This time my check engine light went on and was diagnosed with a problem due to the oil change they did. Took it back today in hopes that they would fix the problem. Ty the owner refused and making me feel like I was lying even though I had proof and pictures. He did not honor the warranty on his work done to my car. This will be the last time I go to him.
