Quick and on point. Process takes 10 minutes, they send your results directly to DMV, and u wait for the registration. Simple as that

Quick service and very clear with instructions and very professional. Definitely would recommend.

Came to get a smog service on my 2005 accessible van. Moses was there to greet us as we drove up and walked us through the entire process. The building did have a small lip (1-2 inches at most) that I had to wheelie over but it wasn't very difficult and we didn't have to go inside, I just wanted to wait for my car there. The space we waited in was nice and lit up (didn't feel uncomfortable like you can sometimes in a dark closed off shop that smells like oil) and Moses was friendly with my fiance and I while we waited. I would definitely recommend this shop if you're looking for a star certified smog shop. Cost for a 2000 or newer vehicle was $65, 1999 and older was $80, and all heavy duty vehicles were $95. Definitely go check him out. read more

A man of integrity. Brought my son's car in for state registration-- advised him that we had to jump start it. After a quick under dash telemetry he told us it would fail without a new battery-- but we would also need to replace it and drive at least 50 miles at highway speeds to reset. No charge. Brought it back a few hours later with 54 miles on the new battery-- passed. Extremely thorough. We got everything done at DMV same day! Make him your #1 pick. read more

I've always wondered if a 5 rated yelp establishments with 60+ review have their ratings inflated. Today, I can confirm at the best that Alhambra Smog Center is not. Here's another 5 star rating to you Moses. I got in 10 minutes late past my appointment time at a small shop. I did not know to bring my registration form, which Moses was able to work around with just my driver's license. Moses was very friendly and the whole process took 15 minutes times or less. Smog Check is quick and easy for most cars. This has been here for years. Small smog center. Reasonable rates and usually not much waiting. Additionally, I have recently rented UHAUL trucks from the same guy. Pretty receptive and nice guy. Suggests eating next door if hungry, where to park not to get a ticket, what to look for next time. Alhambra Smog Center is just down the street from where I live and made several visits due to needing to troubleshoot codes until they were all cleared. The owner of the smog center was kind and courteous each time I visited. I highly recommend Alhambra Smog Center if you are nearby and in need of smogging your vehicle. Came in for a quick smog inspection and was met with amazing service. Moses knows how to welcome you in and gets the job done, fast. This is a privately owned smog check station that is partnered with BAR. It is STAR certified and a test only center so they perform smog checks but are not authorized to diagnose or perform repairs. You'll see the plaque on the outside of the shop. Prices are market driven so you should always shop around but I can guarantee that you'll be satisfied after visiting this center. read more
