They even washed our car because "it looked a little dirty" and they had some extra time.

I can't believe how awesome the entire experience has been over the last few years with Auto Precision! They are honest, professional and so knowledgeable about repairs and maintenance of our Porsche Cayenne. When we need simple oil changes, they always come in lower than the expected price. They do extra care at no charge. When we needed a major $3000 (dealer quote) they did it for $1,000! Better and faster too! Tell your friends because they will thank you.

Service Stabilitrak 2. Service Traction Control 3. Park Assist Off. The truck went into drive safety mode which means lower MPH to prevent any further possible damage to the warning light mechanical issue. After getting home safely, I plugged in my OBD II (On Board Diagnostics) code reader to the OBD II unit on the truck. I did not get a message telling me what the issue was. This was unusual since I always get the code identifying the mevhanical problem. I took my truck into the local Chevy dealership service center as I have always taken my vehicle there since it was purchased at this dealership brand new. Long story on this, I was told by the service advisor that the Allison transmission was the issue and had to be replaced with a new one. Needless to say a very costly issue in the $12,000 plus bend over repair cost. After some agonizing thought and puzzlement I decided to get on Yelp and make some calls to pursue a second opinion. Long story on this was finding CRC Transmissions and their positive Yelp reviews. I called and spoke with Todd likely close to the day's closing time. Todd was gracious enough to offer some takes and opinion on the apparent and possible issue/s. The next day I received a call from his wife Lori for an update on my matter. This discussion with her of the likely mechanical issues and repairs, along with her genuine knowledge and expertise sealed the deal for me to tow my truck from the Chevy dealership to their shop for their look and second opinion. From my initial phone contacts to tow drop off of my truck to being kept in the progress loop was just amazing! In this day in age it's not that often to find business folks who are honest, genuine and sincere. This business people is not 5 star but rather 10 star. Todd and his mechanics almost immediately determined that the problem was not the transmission. The issue was identified as the Transmission Control Module (transmission computer unit) and not the Allison transmission (reputable work horse of tranny's). All I can say is wow, wow, wow! I can't say enough about Todd, his mechanics and his special wife Lori at CRC Transmissions. I felt so comfortable and confident that I also agreed to additional preventive mechanical work. Bottom line, CRC Transmissions honest work saved me about $10K. You have a new customer and I will be referring you all to family and friends. I highly recommend CRC Transmissions

The front office checked me in and quickly wrote up my order. My vehicle was up on the lift within minutes. Plush, comfortable sofa in the lobby available to sit and relax. Competitive prices up front, and with discount coupons from their website, I received a great deal. Provided excellent transmission service ahead of schedule for my older, high-mileage vehicle, which made a tremendous improvement with drivability. Feeling beyond happy with the results. I completely trust their professional staff and mechanics to service my vehicle anytime with no reservations. A special thank you to Rick and Ivanka for making the entire automotive experience so flawless!

What a waste of my life to write this, but I feel you should explore your options before coming…read morehere. Came here on a recommendation. I originally called with a request to expedite a transmission repair. I asked Roxy, the receptionist, what the timeline looked like in order to get a work truck back in operation, as it serves as the primary vehicle for our operations. She said her guys (guy?) were out to lunch but if not today, the same afternoon, then sometime tomorrow someone will call with a quote. After not hearing an update on the status of the vehicle I call to see if the tow made it to the shop. Roxy answers and says, "Oh! I'm glad you called. I totally forgot to even check that in." Strike one. Another whole day goes by without hearing anything. I call back after hours with a message asking for an update on the vehicle. Next morning I finally hear from Rick, the technician. Nice enough guy, but sounds overworked. Asks me if I got his call and message yesterday. I check my phone, no missed calls, no messages. "No," I say, "What time did you call?" "Oh, uh, erhm, I don't know exactly. But it must have been sometime yesterday." Strike two. Whatever, as long as we can now make some progress on the vehicle now, right? He low-ball quotes me around $3,200. I suspect that the final total will be beyond that, as is typical of mechanic interactions. Says he has to get in there and see what's going on with the transmission to see what final cost of rebuild is going to be. Fair enough. Then I need to wait the weekend, another two days down. Get a call late Monday that the new total is closer to $3,600. And while I don't doubt the truck needed the work, the upselling with replacing this seal and that began. By the time he was done with recommendations the new total was nearing $5,500. I decline any additional services and move forward with just the transmission rebuild. Tuesday comes around and to his credit, Rick prioritizes and turns it around much quicker than his original projection of Thursday. When I go in to pay last night, Roxy fails to inform me verbally that paying with credit card is going to incur an additional 3% fee, instead defending some 8.5"x11" signage that they have scattered about the workroom. So, $120 lesson to me to read all signage around a mechanic's showroom at the end of the day when I'm rushing to get there before they close and $120 lesson to them to maybe call out the fact that they'll charge you an additional 3% if you decide to put it on a card. The kicker? A policy they implemented after I originally left truck with them. The sign read "Starting November 3." Upon realizing, after receiving a receipt with the newfound additional cost, I inquire as to what can be done to reverse or make it right. What I'm met with over and over? "Oh, we'll have to talk to corporate to see what can be done." It's not even so much the cost as to the regularity of being brushed off and lied to. That's what made this a bad experience. I gave them both several chances to make things right. We could have met somewhere in the middle over a measly $120 cost. Strike three. But it was just the final straw. Hopefully you'll come up with some superior customer service tactics going forward? So the final out the door cost was near $4,000. And the final, inflexible solution was to have a heated phone exchange where he's mad at me, that I don't appreciate that he is a one-man operation and has had to let all of his other technicians go and made extra effort to get this back to me quickly. Next time just be honest and say that you don't have the time to take a rush request? Maybe see what corporate can help with. Thanks for getting the truck up and running but this could have been dealt with in a much superior fashion.

BEWARE! Marco will try everything to wiggle out of a warranty…read more A year ago I broke down on the freeway with an entirely failed clutch. I was towed to this AAMCO location and Marco fixed the clutch. He told me it would be "different", whatever that was supposed to mean. Different it was. Within a few months, it became almost impossible to get into second gear. Eventually, I couldn't get into reverse or first, either. So I bring it back for the warranty work. Marco actually TOLD me that he was literally looking for anything OTHER than the clutch work he had done before. "It's so small in those cars, I really don't want to open up the clutch unless I have to." It took him THREE WEEKS of trying all other possibilities before FINALLY breaking down and fixing his work. I will commend Marco for finally honoring the warranty and not charging me for all the exploratory work he did trying to avoid honoring the warranty. When I finally picked up my baby, Marco cryptically reported: "If anything is going to go wrong, it will happen in the next 100 miles." well, if that doesn't sound like he set something up to fail? No surprise, within a week the starter began to fail. Well, I'm not going back to Marco, so I go to an honest mechanic, who found the problem IMMEDIATELY. "It was a loose wire, the first thing we saw when we put it up, it was obvious."

Marco was amazing, very transparent, explained everything clearly, and fixed my issue with…read moreprofessionalism. I was grateful that I came here because I had been worried that something disastrous was wrong with my car, but it was simple enough to fix, and I was able to leave safely. Hopefully my car will be in good condition for a long time, but definitely would bring it here if it needed it.
