Forget Rusnik, Bimmer Connection will do it perfectly, at a much better rate, and more honestly. Rusnik quoted me $850, and BimmerConnection quoted me $600. When I picked up the car, to my surprise the charge was adjusted to less than $350. The owner told me it was a much easier job than what the BMW book quoted for this jobs labor hours. After bringing our X5 E-Drive to several BMW specialists, including the dealership, to solve an issue we were having without success, we decided to bring the car to Bimmer Connection. The problem with the type of issue we were having was that in order to be replicated you had to drive the car for at least 30 minutes and sometimes as long as 1 hour. Most services weren't willing to do this kind of testing and as a result the other specialists were never able to diagnose the problem. Bimmer Connection was in the middle of moving locations but were more than happy to take a look at our car to see if they could help. After taking the car on a test drive they quickly had some ideas as to what might be causing the issue. Rob, the owner of Bimmer Connection, was determined to find a solution no matter what it took. After many days of test driving after business hours, lots of research and consulting other experts, Rob was able to not only diagnose the issue, but also create a plan of action to make sure we got our car back as quick as possible and in great condition. He dealt with our warranty company as they tried to back out of replacing a transmission and managed to convince them that it was 100% necessary in order to fix our car. He stayed in close communication with me the whole time through text, email and phone calls to make sure I knew what was going on and what to expect. I'm happy to say that after some time, we got our X5 back in better condition than we bought it in and are extremely happy with our experience with Rob and his team at BC. From our many conversations, I can tell that Rob is passionate about what he does. He doesn't try to find a quick fix just to make a buck. He's determined to find the right solution so that the customer is happy and never runs in to any more issues down the road. Rob's willingness to go above and beyond other services to solve problems is remarkable, and honestly refreshing this day in age.
