I purchased a vehicle here thinking this is a good place to buy a vehicle. My 23 year old son found this place when he was shopping for cars. My son purchased a used Lexus. My niece came a week later and purchased a BMW this place is a rip off. They selling nice bodies meaning the car look good on the outside. When you go under the hood you have all types of problems. My son and my niece no longer have the vehicles they purchased from ANF. Now, years has passed and now it's time for me another vehicle. My son talk me into getting a car from ANF. I should have followed my first mind. The vehicle I purchased has been a nightmare. When we drove the vehicle off the lot before we made it to our side of town/ home . All types of lights came on. Brake pads worn, low coolant, low tire pressure. I called the salesman immediately. He said bring it back. I took that vehicle back about 5 times and I'm still having low coolant issues brakes squeak , low tire pressure . They do not want to spend the money to fix the problem. When you bring the car back to them to repair, they have about 5 shade tree mechanics patching up the problem. I have purchased about 7 cars in my life time and I have never experienced anything like this. This place is a big rip off. They lie a lot about fixing the car. I have seen a lot of young adults come in this place, they're first time buyers.The cars look good but is not worth the time. Beware of this dealership. The finance manager is a scam artist. He wants every customer to put down $4000 on any car and he do not discuss the finance with you . He determines what he want you to pay every month. The other dealerships ask how much can you afford to pay each month and work it out to the price you agree on. ANF do not do that. They do all the paper work and do not explain to you want you to signing. I would like to also say, As soon as you purchase a vehicle they want you to do the review so you can. Worst place ever! Everything the do here is very fishy! Keep in mind they make you give the down payment before you even do the application! So I had to give them the down payment so the back will take the application as we were seriously going to buy the truck, keep in mind we were just trying to apply for financing. Rubi has no customer service at all, she is very rude and will not let you talk. She will continually interrupt you and correct you over and over again. One time we had to get another paper plates for our vehicle, and she kept calling us every 10 min. We live in Baytown and traffic is horrible is so bad around the time we went. The next day, Peter Landreth got back to us. We tried to confirm it was a manual, and he told us it is an automatic, and confirmed it. Regardless of reaching out to them about this, this is still listed as a manual. At the time I had explained to the dealer I'm not in Texas but I'll bring it back as soon as I back and one of the managers said that is fine pay me on cash app $40 and we will figure it out when you get back. After my trip was extended. I got another call I had asked them will I get my down payment back. I was told yes more than once. I said okay. When I got to the dealer I was told I wasn't getting it back due to the amount of time I had the car it was excess able to them the whole time. They could have gotten it back at any point. Then the "manager" had explained to me I need to sign a voluntary return but it seemed like it was saying I'm not going to get anything back if I signed it because of how hard they where pushing for it. Run from this dealership. My buying experience was horrendous. I was on the market for a BMW suv. They had one I loved so went to see it and wanted it. Noticed a knocking noise coming from under hood. They said they'll fix it. So I went ahead and proceeded with the paperwork. Used cars need work- no perfect used car so I understood. Day 1: AC was blowing cold air. By day 3: AC was completely out. Went to see a mechanic needed a whole new air compressor and some other components. I was looking at a $3,000 repair. So I went back to ANF so they could replace the components and they did but still didn't turn on the air compressor to kick back the AC. I went twice to ANF to repair it and nothing. With new components for the AC I went to see another mechanic and they fixed my AC. Months later, I'm driving to San Antonio and my car starts to misfire. Went to see my trusty mechanic and he told me "who was been touching your air compressor?!" ANF was the last to touch it. They didn't hook up the air compressor correctly, yanked out the hose, and literally just put it back together with no security. Now the engine wasn't getting enough air. ANF has the worst mechanics and I'll never buy a vehicle here nor will I recommend my friend here. You risk everything here. Especially since they offer foreign and luxury vehicles. Went to this dealership was quoted 14,995 for the car. We get into the finance "room" and suddenly the price jumps to 15,995. When questioned the salesman stammers and stutters and says that's the finance charge the finance company charges. I expressed I would go with my own financing and they said "no problem" we will shred the contract. I get a call from their "finance company" I ask the rep about the finance fee of $1000. She responds that they do not charge any fee. I next inquire about being able to refinance at a lower rate as I was told by the "finance" Dept. She replied we don't refinance. Four trips to the dealer to get the down payment back i was told we charge a cancellation fee and about 10 other fees. If there was a way to give negative stars I would. The salesman was dishonest from the first word out of his mouth. BEWARE do not buy here, I promise there are MANY dealers that finance that are honest, I don't care what they try and tell you about your credit worthiness. Not only that right when we were gonna start signing papers the guy ended up telling us something was wrong with a tire something about a rim he said we would have to leave it for the company to fix so of course we agreed but the whole point of getting the car was because we needed it. The guy ends up telling us we would have to leave the car all day for them to fix the cracked rim even tho it was going to be hard for us to leave it since we needed it we did for them to "fix" it. I got there first in line the day we agreed one first thing in the morning so there wouldn't be a line only for us to be calling @7 at night asking about our car that they didn't even touch all day because they were supposedly waiting on a part that was allegedly already there. Since we needed the car we just took it back and told them to let us know when everything is there so we can take it back and actually get it fixed. It was always so hard to get a hold of someone especially your seller on the phone and even in person! Drove from San Antonio to purchase a truck. Vehicle had the normal looking wear and tear of a used vehicle and was decently clean. Since I drove from out of town I wasn't able to have my mechanic check the vehicle before purchasing. Made the purchase on Saturday and dropped the vehicle off on Monday for my mechanic to check it out. Turns out it needed the following; Front & Rear break job, Right Front Axle, Main Bearing Oil Seal, AC & Alternator Drive Belts. The only thing I cared about on that long list was the main bearing seal. I feel like they knew it was leaking oil and cleaned it up real good so I couldn't see it upon inspection. During my drive home the leak must have did it's thing. I believe they knew about the Front axel as well because it was replaced and the work was done incorrectly which caused the issue. I can't prove that though, but I do know if there's a major oil leak like this truck had, It would have been easily spotted (main thing I was looking for). I talked to ANF and they agreed to make the repairs, but I had to bring the vehicle to them. #1 I was going to drive back to Houston (I have a job), #2 The repairs were already underway. They gave me their cost for the repairs which was lower than mine, but I was willing for them to just refund me their costs and I would take on the rest. They still wanted me to bring the vehicle back to Houston. So far, communication from them has stopped. They hide behind the "As Is" label which is their right, but a massive oil leak should be repaired or disclosed to any prospective buyer vs cleaning it up so it's not visible during a customer inspection. If they refund me their cost for the repairs which is much less than I paid (just for the seal repair), I will be a happy customer and update this review. I did buy a used "As Is" vehicle, so I believe the brakes and such are on me. Stick to your guns on price when you go there. Get the KBB value for the vehicle you are looking at and your trade if applicable, and stand firm. If you don't want to be there all day haggling, give them your out the door price and tell them call you when they get to your price. Leave after that and wait! They will be very nice until you sign that paperwork and drive off the lot. Put your game face on and make them either fix or give you credit for every little issue you find. They don't really care about you....they care about your money. The only thing they did good was the paperwork process.....smooth and quick. Now if I receive my License plates in a timely manner, that would be great. I recently read a review on BBB where a customer waited several months before receiving their plates. We'll see.... Kept telling me to "hold on a minute" on going to get the car checked out making me wait until the auto shop was no longer open so I couldn't get it checked out. Him and his finance team were not willing to negotiate a slightly lower rate for me, and obviously didn't end up getting the car. So, I bought a 4 year old luxury vehicle from ANF a couple months ago. I waited until now just in case anything happened to the car, but no issues have come up. This place is great. You get what you pay for - a deal. I saved a very substantial amount of money buying from here versus a dealership or certified or other larger outfit. They know that they are small, so they are more competitive. However, you MUST check the car yourself! Of course they will try to sell you what they have "as is" and exactly how they got it from auction, but you don't have to buy it that way! The owners are honest and ethical and stood by their word with me. Now, the front line sales people could care less, but they owners are good people. Make sure you identify anything wrong with the car before you purchase it, and then discuss that with them (these are used by the way). They will either fix it or take that into account in the sales price. Make sure you get a deal with the OWNERS and NOT the sales people since the sales people only care about the immediate sale (and commission) and don't care about lying. I have had the worst experience with ANF Auto Finance. I came into the dealership several times in search of the perfect vehicle for my family and I. I finally found the vehicle that I wanted and began the paperwork. This was on Monday August 14th 2017. The sales person insisted on receiving my down payment, even before the final approval was given. I paid my down payment that day, expecting to drive off of the lot! The dealership then requested additional documentation including requesting that I set up an online account for my bank and my cell phone company, to "verify" the information that I had given them. This was something I had never heard of. On Wednesday August 18th 2017, after been given the run around each time I came into the office, the deal was denied by the bank. I had no problem, because honestly I was completely fed up with the lack of professionalism and communication on their end. When I requested the down payment to be refunded the manager, Wayne, informed me that I had to wait until Friday to get my refund. I came into the office late Friday afternoon and he stated "I have not received an approval from corporate to write you a check, call me tomorrow morning around 10:30 or 11". The next I contacted him and received the same statement. He requested I sent him a text on Monday to send to "corporate" and once Monday came, I still received no correspondence from Mr. Wayne or their corporate office. When I asked for "corporate's" contact information, I was told that corporate does not speak to customers. On Tuesday, Mr. Wayne stated that it would be Friday before the check could be cut. Given the record of his time and dating and the severity of the situation, that would not work. Because ANF has breached the agreement that was made between the dealership and I, the down payment should have been refunded within 48 hours of the denial. That has not been the case, and I have been forced to enlist a civil suit lawyer, which will cost more time and money. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with purchasing a vehicle and dealing with a business PERIOD. I urge anyone who considers doing business with this dealership to RUN! Yes they have nice cars for nice prices, but they don't tell you that the cars have damages and that the pricing you see online is only for purchasing the vehicles cash. If you are financing the vehicle, then the selling price will skyrocket. If you look over their reviews, you will see that they are the same, just from different people. *Buyer Beware* Be careful if wanting to buy from this used dealer. Our experience was a terrible one. We bought a Kia Sorrento from them 2 weeks ago. After 3 days the engine light came on and we had it checked by a Triple A garage, it turns out they had fixed it with the wrong pulley, the compressor was not functional and there was a whole host of other problems $3,000 to fix. We talked to them and they refused to cancel the finance check but offered (after we haggled some) to pay for some of the issues and we would pay for others. We also paid for a warranty. We get the car back and 2 days later the check engine light was back on, we still hadn't got our warranty and had to pay another $150 plus dollars to fix what they didn't fix right!! We have called, faxed and repeatedly asked for our warranty and they haven't called us back...surprise NOT. Please, if thinking of buying from this dealer have the vehicle checked put before purchase, if there is anything wrong with it don't touch it because they will ignore you.
