I had earliest appointment and was in and out in 25 minutes. For 7:30 appointments, you only have one entrance (Ft Greene st). This entrance takes you right to the DMV. They make you line up all the way down the street. The online check in doesn't work because you are too "far away" if you are in that line. They don't let you in at all until 7:30. Later you can go in and 625 entrance. Red line for appointments. Have your bar code ready. It's sensory overload in there. I found the employees at the window to be nice and efficient. My husband didn't have that experience. I think they hate everyone by 8:30. Come in with low expectations and maybe you will have a good experience. 4 stars for me , 1 for my husband so this was middle ground since you can't give half stars.

1 Star -- Extremely frustrating DMV experience…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience at this DMV today, 08/18/2026. My ticket number was RG107, and I was called at approximately 2:04 PM and sent to Counter #10. I was there to get a replacement plate for my motorcycle/scooter, something that should have been a relatively straightforward transaction since I had my previous registration and insurance documentation with me. Unfortunately, the employee who assisted me was extremely slow and appeared unfamiliar with the process. He was typing extremely slowly, key by key, and repeatedly questioned my insurance information. Even though I provided the insurance documentation, I was asked to contact my insurance company approximately five times to make changes. This was incredibly frustrating, especially because I had originally registered this same motorcycle using the same insurance policy without any problems. What should have taken around 25-30 minutes ended up taking most of my day. That meant losing valuable time and potentially money over a process that should have been handled much more efficiently. I was also disappointed by the overall atmosphere around the counter. While customers were waiting, I observed employees talking among themselves rather than appearing focused on moving customers through the process. As a customer, it was very frustrating to feel like our time wasn't being respected. I am posting this review because I sincerely hope a supervisor or branch manager sees it and investigates what happened. I am not expecting employees to rush through important paperwork, but I do expect them to understand the procedures they are responsible for and to treat customers professionally and respectfully. I strongly believe the employee who assisted me needs additional training, particularly regarding motorcycle registration/plate replacement procedures and insurance requirements. Customers should not have to spend an entire day at the DMV because an employee is unable to efficiently process a relatively simple transaction. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both employee training and customer service at this location.

He failed on making his Left and Right turns to wide. .I called the order to discuss this matter and had no Luck with him . I don't believe he got a fair chance After paying almost a $1.000 . since then he is taking lessons with a different driving school and is doing well . We were also told he should have never been put forward for his test at that time . Shame on A 1 driving school in Sunnyside . That's why I believe it's all about the money not on teaching you the proper way to drive . My instructor Jeannette was calm and patient and was able to provide great feedback after our lessons. Today I passed my road test on the first try and could not be happier! I had a babysitter and took the afternoon off from work to get this done. I called the number and a person told me someone would call me back. A person named Clara called to tell me no one would be there. I said to Clara I wanted the service for free since I would have to do it on another day... babysitter and possibly take time from work again. She hung up on me! Ha seriously stay away if you like sanity. Oh and also, this company is just a tiny cramped rented room among a bunch of other businesses in a weird building on Northern Blvd.
