I scheduled an appt a few months prior for 9am on 11/20/20 to get my permit because it expired many…read moremoons ago. Be forewarned that this DMV location will only honor transactions that cannot be done online and you need to make a reservation. Reservations fill up pretty quickly. My first encounter was with the security guard who made sure I had an appointment. I was told to wait at the booth. I was then greeted by another man who walked me over to the office and asked me to wait on line until I was called. Once I was called I met Benson who was a true gem. He was witty and had great customer service. If my entire time could've been spent with him I would've enjoyed it. He explained the different permits to me. I ultimately went with the REAL ID being that I have a passport already. The reason for 3 stars is because I spent an hour at this location and I didn't need to take the written test. I was only here to hand in my documentation, pass the vision test, and pay the associated fees. There's also quite some confusion as people stand aimlessly around unsure which way to go when you first walk in and wait on the designated line. There needs to be some time of separation for people who need to retake a photo which I had to do twice for some odd reason and people who need to show their applications.
