Because of the way the situation was handled, I was guided incorrectly and ended up making a mistake on my title application. Now I'm being told the title is not valid and that I need to file a new one. I purchased the car from a private seller I do not know well, which makes it very difficult to find them again. The title process is also being quoted as 3 to 5 months, which would delay registering my car. Thankfully, I went to a different DMV location, and they were able to help me register my vehicle without any issues.

They don't offer every service that's offered at the regular DMV, but do offer things such as license renewals, registrations, title transfers, and written permit tests. If you don't want to wait hours at the normal DMV, I'd highly recommend trying to make a stop here instead. I've been here twice now and both times I walked in, waited no more than five minutes and was being helped by someone. The first time, I came in to get my license renewed. They had me in and out in about 15 minutes, this includes getting a new photo taken for my license. The woman helping me even let me see the photo and "approve" of it, something I've never been offered before. Extremely nice though, because who wants an ugly picture stuck with them for 10 years. My most recent visit here was to transfer a title and register a new vehicle, and took under 30 minutes (filling out paperwork included). Both visits, everyone was super nice and helpful when it came to answering questions, which was definitely a pleasant change from visiting an overcrowded office where they want you out of their hair as quickly as possible. The only downside is that they do have pretty weird hours and are only open two days a week, but if you can fit it in it's definitely worth it.

The two ladies who helped us before we even got to the counter were so incredibly helpful, and polite and I wished I had gotten their names to thank them again. The person who gave me the number gave me a heads up. Because she was paying attention I didn't miss my turn. The new location is super neat and clean and there are public restrooms there too. Also, their security guard might be one of the nicest human beings on the planet. I didn't get to say hi to him today because he was walking a little old lady out to her car. Reporting the prob to them every week has done nothing to get this fixed. They tell me it's the customers who jam them up every time. Yet this does not happen at any other branch within 10 miles. Ive had repetitive probs with "Clerk 09" & now the new manager at this branch which compels me to update my review ... the one star belongs entirely to the counter clerk I had yesterday - luv her, she knew what she's doing, answered all my questions with helpful detailed explanations and should be promoted. But any time I get Clerk 09 it is a frustrating ordeal, and today just wasted 20 minutes of my life arguing (again) about the corporate account terms that my national e-commerce company negotiated with them almost a year ago so they would take my package :( This also does not happen at any other branch within 10 miles. Then, I tried to fill out the USPS customer experience survey at the bottom of my receipt, and I cant even get the stupid survey link to work! It keeps giving me this "Server Error in '/' Application" message! So I emailed postalexperience@maritzcx.com for technical problems related to completing surveys. Why do I bother? Because I am at their mercy in order to get paid for my work, and I strive to work smarter not harder. (If my customer service ever made things this difficult for my clients to do business with - Id be out of business a long time ago.) It's no wonder Amazon started their own delivery service. Pittsford is a lovely sleepy suburban town in the southeast part of Rochester. It's not miles away from the city of Rochester, as is the case with Victor - but it's also far enough away to be low in crime and leafy and feel extremely Suburban. It's served fairly well by the highway that goes from Rochester to Victor and not too far away from the Thruway Interstate 90. It's a few minutes from Henrietta, with all the great food, but if you want something amazing here in Pittsford then I recommend the Pittsford Dairy which has truly spectacular chocolate milk and ice creams and such. Especially at Christmas time when it's beautiful. Move your underarms towards the camera when entering this town. (Bring your Pittsforward).
