But, to my surprise that was not my experience, First off I was recommended to make an appointment ahead of time, I arrived at my time slot and noticed to signs for lines... scheduled and walk ins. Walking in line was full to the door. Appointments were two of us. I waited about two mins and was called up. Handed in my paperwork and took a new photo , I was handed a new number and walked over to the benches to wait for my number to be called. I sat down and than my number was immediately called. Gave the person my paperwork and paid. My entire time spent here was around 15 minutes... I was shocked. Staff was friendly and organized. Definitely recommend having an appointment!

After waiting 2-hour, I was finally called to the Infor desk to begin the process of renewing my license. I had all of the necessary paperwork and more. The staff member was a little short and said all you needed was your Enhanced Driver License, read the eye chart, and then come on the have your picture taken. As I was gathering my paperwork, etc. she said "Come over here for your picture". I proceeded to do so, but an older women stepped in front of me. I waited patiently for her to ask her question, and then the staff member said, just stand in front of the box. After taking my picture she handed me paperwork, and I ask do I sit and wait for my name to appear on the monitor as I just did for this step. Her response, but more so the look on her face was "yes, that's what you did before". My name appeared very quickly and I headed up to identified Station. The staff member checked my paperwork and asked where the card was for my eye exam. I stated that I had it done here and even pointed to the person who did it. He stated that she did not fill out the piece of paper and I needed to go back and get it. I went back and waited for her window to open. I relayed to her what I was told and she asked if I had an appointment. I explained what I was told and needed from her the form that she needed to sign off as to my eye examine that I just took with her. She said he can do it at the Station and there was no need to come to see her. When back the same station, and waited behind the person who was in front of me. Again, explained what I was told, and he rolled his eye and said okay, read the 1st line on the chart that I am holding, which I did. He then continued with the renewal process. I understand that it was close to closing and everyone probably wanted to hurry people along so they could go home, but they need to realized the basis for good customer service. As I was leaving the one Security Guard, who was so polite, said "Miss let me get the door for you and I hope you have a blessed night and rest of the week". There needs to be some level of training for the DMV Staff.

The two ladies who helped us before we even got to the counter were so incredibly helpful, and polite and I wished I had gotten their names to thank them again. Service counter was fast and efficient (in DMV terms of course). Definitely the best DMV service I've ever received and we didn't even have an appointment.

I think the occasional teller is allowed to have a bad day, but I've never had a bad experience. Today I was turning in a plate. My number came up so fast I didn't see it. The person who gave me the number gave me a heads up. Because she was paying attention I didn't miss my turn. The new location is super neat and clean and there are public restrooms there too. Also, their security guard might be one of the nicest human beings on the planet. I didn't get to say hi to him today because he was walking a little old lady out to her car. Reporting the prob to them every week has done nothing to get this fixed. They tell me it's the customers who jam them up every time. Yet this does not happen at any other branch within 10 miles. Ive had repetitive probs with "Clerk 09" & now the new manager at this branch which compels me to update my review ... the one star belongs entirely to the counter clerk I had yesterday - luv her, she knew what she's doing, answered all my questions with helpful detailed explanations and should be promoted. But any time I get Clerk 09 it is a frustrating ordeal, and today just wasted 20 minutes of my life arguing (again) about the corporate account terms that my national e-commerce company negotiated with them almost a year ago so they would take my package :( This also does not happen at any other branch within 10 miles. Then, I tried to fill out the USPS customer experience survey at the bottom of my receipt, and I cant even get the stupid survey link to work! It keeps giving me this "Server Error in '/' Application" message! So I emailed postalexperience@maritzcx.com for technical problems related to completing surveys. Why do I bother? Because I am at their mercy in order to get paid for my work, and I strive to work smarter not harder. (If my customer service ever made things this difficult for my clients to do business with - Id be out of business a long time ago.) It's no wonder Amazon started their own delivery service. Serenity now!

It's out of the way for me, so not my usual branch,…read morebut I think something is up with the catalog, as I saw there was a video game on the shelf that I wanted, but could not place a hold on it and have it shipped to my usual branch. No problem, I'll just pop in. It was very easy to find the new games section and so I was in and out in a minute. I hope I don't have to keep driving to the various branches for items on the shelves (this is maybe only a problem with new media? Games and DVDS/Blurays), but it's also good to explore the libraries around here.
