This is the best shop I have been to since I been in Austin Texas. The staff was so nice and helpful. When I called I was in like a panic mode because my window on the driver side will not go up and I was afraid that someone was going to break into it in my apartments so I gave them a call Thursday morning before the shop even was open. They guy that I spoke to was so kind, understanding and very informative about my situation. To top it off, before I even arrived I got a courtesy call and a text message to make sure I was still coming and that I knew exactly how to get there. When I finally arrived I park right in front of the building because I wasn't sure of which suite it was but the mechanic came out in the middle of the street and directed me to the correct building which I thought was very sweet. And not only that while waiting for my service to be done I found that they're waiting room was very nice, clean, and may I add very cozy to sit in while I waited. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who needs any glass on their cars fixed because they go way out their way to make sure you're comfortable. I brought my car in here after an upstanding motorist kicked a rock up into my car on 183, leaving a quarter-sized chip in the windshield of my brand new ride. After doing a bit of research online I found Auto Glass Solutions. Like every other auto glass repair shop these guys use a vacuum pump to draw air out of the chip, then inject it with an epoxy resin to harden & seal the area & prevent further cracking of the glass. It doesn't look perfect, but that's through no fault of the shop. Once the chip is there it will always be there unless the entire windshield is replaced. It is, however, far less noticeable, & I no longer have to worry about the crack expanding or "spidering." The tech who worked on my car was friendly & knowledgeable, as was the receptionist; everybody working there seemed upbeat & professional. Not only that, but they were done with my car in about 15 minutes, & I paid $50 less than what I was quoted at Safelite. Had I needed the entire windshield replaced I would have gone elsewhere, as they don't use OEM parts, but for a quick, inexpensive, professionally-done glass chip or crack repair, I definitely recommend this place! read more

I needed a windshield replaced on a reasonably new Toyota Corolla - reasonably new because it has low mileage and is in great shape. I was concerned about someone putting a windshield in and hearing wind noise or something. I found Auto Glass Solutions online and contacted them because of good reviews. My research was worth it - they did an excellent job. Not only did they do a great job, but I swear the sky is falling....this company actually shows that they care about their customers. They were so sweet and friendly. Literally every single person told me goodbye, have a nice day, etc. - even the guys who were working in the shop. I really appreciated the very reasonable price and my ability to get an appointment quickly. I just moved to Austin, and I am appreciating finding great people to do business with like I left when I moved. My Toyota coupe is 13 years old. One of the triangular, fixed side windows in the back seat had to be replaced. I called Lisa on Tuesday afternoon and within a half hour she was able to locate a replacement and call me back with an estimate ( best estimate I got). I gave her a deposit over the phone so she could order the window. Lisa called me at 11 am the next morning to say they were ready to put the window in. My coupe is a hardtop with a canvass- covered shell added on the roof to give the appearance that the car is a convertible. When I got to the shop Cody, the installation technician, told me we had a problem because part of the canvass shell covered several inches of the back point of the triangular window opening. It would be very difficult to install the replacement glass without damaging the canvass shell. Cody did a perfect job in one hour and I was not charged for the additional labor required. Lisa runs the office and is knowledgable, efficient and courteous. I recommend this shop as first rate. read more

Very Impressed!!! I broke my windshield backing out of the garage with the hatch still up! I didn't want my husband to have the stress of calling around and dropping it off somewhere. Also, I have four boys, and they don't like sitting in waiting rooms!! I called a couple of places to get quotes the next morning. I live In Austin now. I drive a 30-year-old limited vintage car and my windshield was hit by hail. What a mess. I looked at reviews and called around to glass shops for a new windshield. Both Mark, the owner, and Chris, that worked on my car, did an outstanding job. There was more damage than we had originally thought, they gave me all my options up front for the repair. Even though there was more damage, and the repair took longer, they did not charge me more than the original estimate. I was impressed. They were polite knowledgeable, and took great care of my car. Called Wed after lunch to get my windshield repaired. I was spoken to very courteously and given all the options. After I chose what to do without any pressure, Auto Glass was able to send me Courtney Free within the next 2 hours to work on my car's windshield. Courtney gave me a heads up call about 30 mins before arriving. Once here, Courtney explained the process and went to task. The new windshield was installed shortly afterwards with the required tags/stickers transferred over. The interaction ended with Courtney giving me a run down of care needed in the short and long term for the windshield. I was very pleased with the work that was done and I was surprised. Surprised since this is unusual and rare in the auto industry. Interact courteously and truthfully and provide great service. I had a crack in my windshield that suddenly grew to cover half the window - I needed it fixed ASAP. At a family member's suggestion, I tried a national auto glass company. The earliest they could get to me was a week out, and the price they quoted was very expensive. I asked Auto Glass Solutions for a quote and they came in almost half of what the other company quoted, and they could replace my windshield today. This afternoon, Courtney Free came to my office and an hour later I couldn't tell that my windshield had ever been damaged. He even transferred my license sticker to the new windshield - I thought I was going to have to order a replacement. Courtney worked in the sun in hot weather but didn't complain. At first I made an appointment to come to their shop and get the work done. Then after finding out for a small fee they can come to you at your location, I decided to choose the mobile choice. They called to confirm when they were on their way, then when they were outside ready to get to work. I went out and met Courtney, who was very positive and explained the process and the timeline to completion. He had a great sense of humor, not the slightest negative in any way. Both my husband and I had a window broken out of our cars (hooray, vandalism!). I called for quotes from seven different places around town, and Auto Glass Solutions was lower than anywhere else on their quotes for both windows. Safelite's quote was $500 higher for just my car! In terms of price, no contest, these guys were the best. I was also thrilled to find that they had both windows in stock (mine was a special piece that everyone else had told me they'd have to order) so they were able to offer same day service. They did not charge extra to come to us for the work, and both techs (Lupe and Cody) were very nice and did the job quickly, including cleaning up the broken glass inside the cars. Wow! I am very impressed by this whole experience from start to finish. I requested a quote on Sunday evening online. I got an email response Monday with a very reasonable and affordable price. I called Wednesday to set up a mobile appointment for Thursday afternoon - quick and painless call. Thursday morning I got a call from Mark to confirm the appointment and ask if they could show up earlier if they were ahead of schedule. We had a rock hit the windshield in the evening, and by the next morning there was a crack halfway across the driver's side. I didn't have the time to drop the car off this week, so we called Auto Glass Solutions to see if they could come to us repair. Cody came out to my office and was very clear about the process and the time it would take. I let him know that I couldn't meet him when he was done (45 minute process) as I had a meeting, and he gave me their office number so I could give my payment information ahead of time to them. He locked my car when he was done and left me a voicemail with instructions on how to re-adhere the registration sticker. Called Thursday morning at 10:00am to get a quote and set up an appointment for home installation. Was surprised to hear they could get to me that afternoon no later than 3:00p. Their technician, Courtney Free, showed up at 2:30p for the replacement. I had been putting off the replacement for about 3 years, since I didn't want to have to deal with the hassles of getting new registration and inspection stickers. Courtney said that in most cases he could remove and reaffix to the windshield successfully, which was a relief and surprise. Courtney was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I had a small rock impact my front windshield a few months ago, and slowly it propagated across and a 30" crack resulted. After googling and reviewing numerous companies, we landed on Auto Glass Solutions, made an appointment and I am very happy with the service. I've been looking around to get my windshield replaced after getting a quote of $500 from my insurance company referral Safelite. After searching on craigslist found Auto Glass Solution and did a Yelp search. They gave me the best quote by far. Called and set up an appointment and was in the next day. I was done in 1hr and my new windshield looked good as new! I was out the door under $330.00 (mind you it was for a BMW). 100% satisfied and would recommend them to all my friends and family. Called them a few weeks ago to see how soon and how much I could get my front windshield replaced. The woman on the phone ask if she could call me back, said sure and within ten minutes she called me back. She listen and gave my options. I was expecting them between 10 and 12. At a little after 8 Courtney gave me a call saying he would be there in about 15 minutes. Early than I thought or expected. He was very professional and to the point. Broke down what he was going to do, asked about the Inspection Sticker and Registration Sticker, just need the Registration one. He finished everything including cleanup in about 45 minutes.
