Astro glass had the windshield I needed in stock. i was told i could walk-in during their business…read morehours and have the windshield replaced. i arrived, unscheduled, and was taken right away. i ended up tinting the 2 front car windows and a visor strip across new windshield with the ceramic tint. Sure, the service was efficient as suggested, but their business model is crooked and misleading. On the phone they said their diagnostic fee was $65, and if it was a simple issue with the power window slipping out of it's assembly, the fix would be quick and would apply against the diagnostic fee and cost nothing more. But if it's a regulator issue, she said, it would take longer. This language was rehearsed and deliberate and implied diagnostic fees applied toward repairs... Until they gave me a regulator diagnosis, with a repair cost of $315, and retained the diagnostic fee in top of that. Over $400 to fix my basic power window issue is lame enough, but crafting their misleading language to cover up an objectively money-grabbing business practice puts them on a par with the legendary charlatans of Brake Mastery. I will never go back here, nor recommend them to anyone else. Absolutely shameful.

B and I drove the jeep up to Utah for a week this summer, and went all crazy driving every backroad we could find. Came home and the jeep was covered in red dust inside and out (and dog hair, everything is just ALWAYS covered in dog hair) oh, and there was sunscreen dribbled on the seats, and some PBJ and Pringles sandwich crumbs wedged in the little cracks and crannies of the console, and random mud from when we crossed a river I don't know the name of, and, well, things were a mess. I called On The Spot, and they set me up with an appointment the next day. Two very nice guys (I'm so sorry I don't remember their names because they were really great) showed up with everything they needed to clean my car, all set up in a van. I didn't have to get them power or water or anything. I just pulled the jeep out of the garage and went on with the rest of my day while they worked on the truck right in my driveway. When they were infinished, about 2 hours later, it was a new truck! I swear it looked better than the day I brought it home from the dealer. You could eat off the hubcaps if you were weird like that. They did the inside, the outside, the wheels and the engine, and it actually sparkled! OK it wasn't cheep. This is not a thing I could afford to do except in extenuating circumstances (like Utah red dust coating EVERYTHING inside the car), but I'm not sorry I did it. I would call these guys again for sure. Makes coming home from a road trip a whole lot nicer for sure.

I got a detail done after getting my truck back from the dealership where it was covered in dust…read moreand in my opinion destroyed inside. On the spot did a "full" detail on my truck had it for about 5-6 hours and looked like a misters car wash granted it was free to me from the dealership to fix their mess up, on the spot was still paid for my truck but I was very disappointed with the detail. Tons of dust in all the cracks of my panels and air vents still, no leather conditioner was used, my windows were done poorly covered in smudges, My rims look like they were not even tried on, engine bay wasn't even touched. PLUS I got it back with paint chips on my door which I know weren't there because like I said I had just gotten my truck back from the dealership were they painted that exact door a week before. I have used another detailer the last 8 years I will be sticking with J&SONS MOBILE DETAILING.
