Apparently, the person who called did not mark the appointment as confirmed, and when I arrived they told me they did not have the glass and that there was nothing they could do. There were three people at the front desk--two women and one man--and all three of them had a terrible attitude. When I asked how I could file a complaint, because anyone can make a mistake but you should take responsibility for it instead of treating the customer badly, they were still rude. This is a job that costs more than $1,000 and we were paying cash because I did not make an insurance claim. There are thousands of shops offering the same service. I left and will get my repair done with another company. It is very sad that the attitude of the front desk staff can ruin the good work of the mechanics and the reputation of the company. Because of their bad attitude and their refusal to take responsibility for their mistake, they lost a customer and a recommendation. The dealership actually sent me to this shop because my car is a lease. I called the dealer to ask where I should get it repaired, and they recommended this place. Now I have called the dealer again to tell them not to recommend this shop anymore, because not only did they waste my time, they also treated me badly and blamed me for their mistake.

Owner came…read moreto the house and spent 2 hours cutting out the old windshield, only to discover that the replacement windshield had severe scratches. He could not get a replacement until the following day, and so I had no car overnight (since the car had no windshield - thank god I have a garage). The second day, he came and installed the replacement windshield. After it set, I drove the car and discovered that the replacement windshield had a severe visual distortion on the bottom portion. Basically, the visual field appears to severely curve on the bottom of the field of view. It makes it distracting and unsafe to drive. The owner came out to inspect it, agreed that the visual field was distorted, but claimed the distortion was "normal." I asked him to source an alternate windshield that did not have the distortion, but he claims that all non-OEM glass will have this, and that apparently (as a layperson?) I somehow should have known this would be an issue. I tried to resolve the issue amicably, but the owner tried to charge me for a second windshield and then when I refused, told me he can "no longer service" me. I will now have to pay a second glass company to replace his defective windshield.

Napleton charged me $168 for the diagnostics and told me the issue was a window regulator and the cost to repair the problem would be $1,000.00 +. I called Eric at Power Window Wizzard and he came out to provide me a free estimate. He said the problem was the deterioration of the window's seal and sprayed glass cleaner and silicone on the rubber seal. Bottom line is window works fine now and he didn't even charge me money!!!
