We went to the Automall yesterday looking for a used car for my wife. We had no intention of buying yesterday, as we were simply looking. Three hours later, we drove away in a very fine used car that was within our budget. The staff at the Automall was friendly, professional, and explained everything that was happening throughout the process. You could a whole lot worse in your car buying experience, but I don't believe that you will find a better experience than the Automall.

I scheduled everything around this appointment that was 5 weeks out, and on the day of the appointment (July 21st 2026), I was told that the EV tech was not in untill possibly late afternoon. He asked if it would be ok to keep overnight. I said sure no problem. This conversation happened after I walked in and was completely ignored untill I finally said , hello.... i'm here to drop my car off for service. So afterwards, I waited the next day comes and goes. So i figured I would wait and see if they called after the weekend. Still no call. So , I reached out to the service center to ask about the progress of my car VIA text - the number they gave me so that I could text that number at any time to check the status of my car. They replied one time and said that the service tech still was not in. My car still was not even looked at after 6 days had come and gone! I waited again to see if anyone would reach out to me throughout the week. No one did. Thursday I finally called to check the status of my car, again. And again, they said the tech was not there and was still out of work for personal reasons. This is the same reason I was given on the first day I dropped my car off! I checked my email the next day, Friday, and they had sent me an estimate for $14,000. !!Just to give you some perspective , I had made the service appointment to replace my water pump, and to fix the driver side power window. I immediately declined the service and called again to ask to speak with the technician. Once again, I was told that he still hadn't returned to work, they would have him call me after the weekend (something along those lines). I never received a phone call from them so I had to reach out again and tell them again that I only want to be quoted to change the water pump and price to fix the power window. They said the tech was not in still and that they would let him know and have him call me as soon as he gets in. So I finally received a call on August 5th 2026 for the first time since dropping off the car. They said their tech was still not in , so i'm still unable to speak with him. He asked if I was going to be replacing my entire EV battery for $14,000 from the quote emailed to me. they said they came to this conclusion because the voltage was "within normal parameters, but on the low side of the range). I said no because i had only wanted the original 2 things fixed, I don't have that kind of money, especially to replace a battery that they're saying is in normal range... He immediately cut me off and said, okay well then we're not going to be able to do any work on your vehicle. He said i could come pick my car up in an hour. Every single time i had any interaction with this service center they were rude, and in person completely ignored my presence. And also, I'd like to know how their technician looked at my car to recommend anything at all, if he was out of work the entire time my car had been in their shop? I was told the entire time that he was the only one able to work on it. I feel that this shop is rude and dishonest. My family has purchased many cars from them in the past but after this experience, I will never return to IG Burton and would never recommend going there for any sales or services. That was 5 weeks waiting for the appointment and then a little more than 2 weeks of being in their shop, so 7+ weeks wasted. Well they called me next day said they were waiting on the parts. While parts were in the car that I bought which they knew about. So they never looked at the car. A 3hr job took 3 days and price went up from 500 to 600 dollars. I really thought from reviews that they were good. I don't understand ripping people off. I would have went there for all my repairs and they would have had a steady customer making more money but I guess they were more interested in ripping me off and lying.
